We experienced a sudden water leak from the upstairs into the downstairs ceiling. After I called, he was here within an hour! I am so impressed with his work and how fast he got it done. He diagnosed it quickly and made sure that it was fixed before it became a major problem. We will definitely use his services in the future.

Rakeem showed up quickly on a weekend sewer backup that turned into a bigger repair. He was able to get a temporary fix in place to keep everything working and come back later for the permanent repair.

Rakeem installed a hot water tap and reverse osmosis system 1.5 years ago and he did an excellent job. He comes out every 6 months to change filters. He also fixed a shower drain that was leaking because the builder installed it incorrectly. It has been working great since! He is very professional, fair priced, and responsive.

Rakeem is very professional and knowledgeable. He performed a timely assessment of some plumbing issues identified during due diligence of buying my home. He actually corrected some of the initial inspection findings and came in much lower. After dealing with delays from other contractors, Rakeem arrived when he said he would and completed a number of jobs in just a few hours. He is such a great value for great work. Reat Assured fixed a leak in our Backflow pipe. The plumber was on time and fixed the leak quickly. He was knowledgeable about the Backflow and answered questions about other plumbing issues.

Rest Assured was wonderful to work with. We recently purchased a 1960s home which required some updates, repairs and a new water heater. Rakeem was far more personable than any of the other quotes we had received. He talked us through the whole process, the updates being made and even gave some instruction on maintenance that was outside of the items he had directly worked on. He seems to really care about his work.

Rakeem really went to a lot of extra effort tonight. I think he's really been able to get things done pretty quickly, and working here in Rocky Mount he's get a 45 minute trip.

As things went on and there were additional challenges it got to be late in the afternoon and then got to be early evening on a Friday, and so the kind of typical business bank hours were basically over, but it was still within the retail store hour range.

My parents and I were thinking it might just have to wait a day or a few days, but Rakeem kept going, and so we kept going, and the City of Rocky Mount was able to come out, and it eventually got completely finished. But Rakeem really did a lot of work to get it sorted out in a brief span of time. He also came out really early as well to get started early in the morning.

EDIT: The initial review seems to have gotten deleted maybe cause I clicked the share button to share the review with Rakeem right after he suggested I write a review and I wrote it and posted it, but everything that I said is true. He even brought his wife and his three little kids in the car to come back to Rocky Mount at about 7:00 p.m. on a Friday to get the job done. So I hope the review gets posted, but I don't know how the filtering works.

Nice to know there are still some genuine honest people. Rakeem really helped save us time and money in a tight spot. We sprung a leak on a faulty toilet hose. Ironically, we were getting prepared to move and have been in contact with multiple contractors for the NEW house. The last thing we needed was a plumbing leak on a Friday night at the current home.

I thought it could easily be swapped out for a better part, but hesitated after some water spraying. Rakeem reassured me my assessment was correct, it was normal and recommended a DIY fix. Not only did he save me from additional cost, but he saved me the time of bringing someone into the home, further delay, and extra contractor clean-up. On top of that, he went a step further to text me the replacement part for purchase at Home Depot.

Sure enough, I found it on Amazon for next day delivery. Literally no time lost, no downgrade in quality (new part is much improved), and I spent only dollars...dollars! Hundreds saved, stress relieved, and headache mitigated. All because an honest business owner spent ten minutes to answer his cell and send a text.

Rest assured installed a pot filler for us, which required running some piping under the crawl space, working with our backsplash contractor to coordinate the installation of the pot filler, and coming back to install the pot filler. We lost the ability to turn off the water in our master shower. My wife took an evening shower, and the internal handle mechanism failed. The gentleman who answered my call, at nearly 9:00 at night, verified the shower handle manufacturer by the picture I sent, told me he could pick up a part and head straight over. We are a bit remote, but he arrived by 10:00, affected the repairs quickly, efficiently, and professionally, and everything was in correct working order before 11:00 that night. When I apologized for bringing him out so far and so late, he told me not to worry about it, and that he was glad to help.

Excellent customer service! They were able to help me with some repairs on my renovate older home! They came in, told me what the problems were, quoted me and I was able to get the work completed in no time!

My family has worked with Rakeem and Rest Assured Plumbing several times now. At our previous home, we had a pretty significant basement remodel involving a full bathroom installation with a tight deadline. We got into an unfortunate situation where our original plumber dropped out of the project last minute, leaving us scrambling. We had several plumbers visit and provide us quotes, but none seemed eager to take on the job. Thankfully we found Rakeem, who eagerly took on the project despite its tight deadline and extensive work. He provided a timely quote, worked into the weekend, and followed through the inspection process.

At our new home, we discovered some pipe leaks in the crawl space. Thankfully I knew a guy - and called up Rakeem. He came out, crawled underneath our house, diagnosed the issue quickly, and said he'd be back Friday to fix. As always he got the job done.

Replaced a new water pipe from the city meter outside to the main pipe inside of the house.

My house was built in 1969, so you can imagine the work that needed to be done. I had company coming in town and I needed someone to get to me as soon as possible. I called three companies and they all couldn’t get to me quick enough. I called rest assured plumbing and they got to me not only quickly but they knew the issue immediately. They unclog my drains and replaced 10 feet of pipe!! They guarantee the work for a whole year! Will definitely be calling them again...I know the old house will need more work!!
