I do not recommend this company to prospective customers. I contacted them b/c my 6-month-old water heater stopped working. Their $125 initial diagnostic fee is higher than most companies, but b/c they could see me sooner, I agreed to that. Diagnostic testing was limited to using a voltage meter which seemed not to be working properly. The technician then told me that they would replace the upper and lower thermostats for $400 b/c that is their company policy. But how do we know the thermostat is the problem, I asked. We don't, he told me, but if you get hot water then we know it was the problem. What about using Whirlpool parts since the unit is still covered under warranty? We don't do that, he told me, but maybe you can submit receipts to Whirlpool for reimbursement. Clearly this service call wasn't designed to be in MY best interests, so I ended the work and paid my $125 diagnostic fee (which should be called a Trip Fee). I get the fact that my type of service call isn't a big $$$ return for the company, but by being unscrupulous and wasting my time, you've lost a potential lifelong customer and alienated anyone who reads this review and decides to keep shopping.

Jason from 3rd Generation Plumbing went above and beyond to install our kitchen sink and faucet after the big name retailer (no names mentioned, rhymes with woes) we paid to install them proceeded to bungle the process for two months. He persisted in following up with said retailer and kept us informed, even while he was on vacation. Then when he was finally cleared to install the sink, he discovered that the DIY countertop tile job by the former homeowners was overextended and required additional work to trim away before the sink would fit. He dealt with this as well despite the extra time and effort involved. Final result looks great and we are very happy with it. Throughout the process Jason was courteous, helpful, and professional. We highly recommend this business and plan to use them again in the future.

Service was on time and PROFESSIONAL. Immediately responded to my call and were at my home repairing my faucet and toilet the next day. Prices were FAIR and employees were a pleasure to have in my home!

Do not use! I chose John Hutchins’ company because he seemed very knowledgeable and was priced reasonably. The project started off well enough to get the big draws, but then started dragging and dragging. It was like pulling teeth to get them to do work. Finally they just stopped showing up. I had another plumber come in to finish the job. The mistakes he had to correct from John’s guys have cost me thousands of dollars.

Ryan arrived promptly, diagnosed the problem and explained it thoroughly and gave me an estimate before beginning the repair. After completing the repair, he checked the house to ensure there were no more leaks anywhere. We would definitely use Optimal for any plumbing needs in the future.

I had them come out for electrical work. Jordan the electrician was so nice and did a good and quick job. The price seemed very fair. I will use them next time.

In our opinion- Very dishonest and unreliable. We paid for services that should have taken 1-2 weeks at most, and it got dragged out for 4-5 months, due to a multitude of excuses as to why they couldn't complete the work, or show up at all. In the end, all of the services we paid for have still not been completed, and the work that was done, was not done properly. Their water heater installation FAILED inspection with the county. We paid Your Service Pro of NC a great deal of money expecting professional service, and timely repairs-- that is not what we received. Our mistake was paying them in full before all services were rendered, and inspections were completed. This company canceled appointments MANY times, would not answer ANY phone calls, or respond to ANY emails. The owner Andrew is in our opinion, rude and dismissive, in that he gave zero explanation of why the installation wasn't done properly, why the additional work was not completed, as well as zero reason why we never received a return email or phone call. They never took any accountability for the work not being done correctly, the lack of response, etc. Would not recommend this company.

Mike is the best in his field. He is very responsive and does high quality work. In addition to repairing a water leak and installing a toilet, he has also helped me get my kitchen fitted for a gas stove. He is the best you will find.

We had Raleigh plumbing install a utility sink in our garage. Their estimate was very fair and they installed the sink as promised. We were very happy with the quality of the work. The plumber who did the work, Eduardo, was very professional and took the time to explain what he was going to do and ensured we got just what we wanted. Would use this company again should we have any future plumbing needs and will recommend them to our neighbors.

They handled the remodel of my kitchen and bathroom and they were great! And added bonus is they always take a look at the whole system and advise of potential problems and suggest possible solutions. I hope you never need a plumber, but if you do, Jason is your guy. He was prompt to respond, easy to communicate with and very thorough and upfront about everything. He even showed me the camera of my sewer line so I could see what the issue was and that it was resolved. I highly recommend 919 Plumber!

He took the time to explain the installation process and functionality of the system we purchased and was very patient while answering my many questions.
