Best Need Repair in Portland OR

Sutherland just replaced my main water supply line. The old line from the meter to the house had a leak. They were able to get a crew on the job the day after I called. Their team explained my options, then did a great job replacing the water main. They also ended up replacing our 20 year old water heater... all done in one day. The crew was easy to work with, were very professional, and did a great job cleaning up after the job was done. I couldn't be happier with their work. I highly recommend Sutherland.

HIDDEN PRICES!!! BE FOREWARNED! i was charged an extra $160 that is unaccounted for in the invoice that my credit card company received - this was due to me disputing the charge. (I never received an invoice - see below).
These guys are scam artists. They will charge you for materials that are not used for your project. They willam also charge you approx $100 for a fuel surcharge, even if they are a few minutes away. They will charge you for the time it takes to get supplies - our experience was that it took over one and half hours. The manager, Chaz, will back up his staff's dishonesty and will refuse your calls. Avoid this company. They do not give you a receipt and once they get your signature you give up all rights to question the amount they stole from you.

We are not on city sewer and have a septic tank with a warning alarm where we live. The alarm was tripped on a Sunday afternoon and we knew we either needed the tank pumped or maybe our pump failed. We experienced this before and knew we needed to get service ASAP. Monday morning I called PDX Sewer Solutions to help us out. Rob took my call and discuss options with me. He came over quickly (within 1-2 hours) to take a look and assess our situation. He was able to what we needed and he helped us right away. Rob was so kind and easy to work with. He explained everything in detail and the price was lower than other companies we have used in the past. I am an extremely happy customer and they will be my first call the next time we need service. I highly recommend PDX Sewer Solutions and will be a happy return customer.

Avoid this outfit at all costs. They made a mistake on some of the finish work at my house and tried to charge me for the extra time. When I disputed it and hadn't issued payment for ONE DAY, they showed up at my house and turned off the water while I wasn't there! Horrid company and super rude. They wouldn't even put boots on or lay down tarps or anything while they worked in my home. That should've been my first indicator to not use them. Too late now. Again, super unprofessional and overall rude. Avoid at all costs.

They were the first to call about our need for service. They were professional courteous covid concerned. They were the most reasonable quote allowing for senior discount and cash discount. Saved us almost 300$ from the next service estimate. Installed a gas hot water heater. Then cleaned up the area and answered many question. Would certainly use them for any new problem. Excellent.

I liked the fact that they were able to do same day service, and they called me with technician's lead times. I will use them again if we need it!

I had a few plumbing problems and I called All Pro Plumbing to see if they could help me. Everyone I talked to on the phone was wonderful and they got someone out to see me the next day. The day of the appointment, Art (the plumber) called me about a half hour before the appointment just to let me know he was on his way. He was right on time, took great care in everything he did, and really went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. I could not be happier with the service they provided. Same-day service from a friendly and competent professional who didn't talk down to me and was kind to my kid & dog. Saw me wearing a mask and immediately went to mask up too (thank you, I'm immunocompromised) -- and happily went to work. They didn't settle with just making the offending toilet flush again -- they told us what happened and why, and let us know what they noticed might be a sign of trouble down the road without trying to upsell. We will absolutely be calling again when we need a plumber.
ETA: they were right about future trouble, and came back to diagnose and give us some solid advice and recommendations to follow up. Same great experience as the first time. Not afraid to roll up their sleeves and they didn't charge for diagnostics.
It's very nice to have a professional explain what's going on without condescension or scare tactics or pressure to get more services. I appreciate all the help!

David did great job with my plumbing job. He replaced a cheap faucet that I had in my mud sink which took some configuration changes that other plumbers were not willing to do.

He also replaced several cheap plastic acorn stops with metal quarter turns.

He definitely knows his stuff and I will be using him again for my future plumbing needs.

My kitchen faucet was busted and leaking water. I called Pacific Crest & got through on the first phone call. They suggested replacing the faucet so we arranged a meeting time for 2 days later. I've gone through his services via Choice Home Warranty for a leaking Garbage Disposal issue. I had to go through so much of pain dealing with him. He neither responds to customers timely nor stand by his commitments. At the same time, he's extremely rude... at one point of time, he said if he should steal something from a store.
