Portland Star Plumbing was easy to work with, prompt, and very professional. They fixed a long-standing problem (incorrectly plumbed utility sink). Both service technicians observed COVID guidelines and cleaned up after themselves. We we’re very pleased, and will be hiring them to do a big job—all the plumbing for a new, above-garage apartment—this spring!

I’ve hired Sutherland Plumbing a couple times now, and I have been very impressed with the work they do. Everyone I have encountered has been very professional, easy to talk to and extremely competent. My recent experience with Sean was no exception. He was very respectful of my home and made me feel at ease in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic. He wore gloves, a thick face mask, and shoe coverings at all times, and was careful about what he touched. He listened carefully to all my concerns and answered all my questions thoroughly. In the process of rebuilding a toilet, he even noticed the toilet paper dispenser was loosely mounted on the wall, and offered to re-mount it for no charge. When he noticed one of my traps was getting old and corroded, he replace that as well, for no additional change. That is definitely above and beyond! I would not hesitate to hire Sutherland Plumbing again, and I highly recommend them.

Zack @Anytime Plumbing was sent to our unit to fix a deep pipe clog, we were very impressed with his professionalism and timeliness. He fixed the issue fast, and very well! I had such confidence in Rob for my recent sewer-pipe replacement. For starters, after my initial call, he quickly came out to do the video scope and give the bid. His bid was complete and his price lower than all but one of the six other plumbing companies I carefully vetted. Plus, he is such a warm, kind, courteous, thoughtful, down-to-earth, get-it-done and fun man with an old-school charm—and decades of experience. I had already done a ton of research about the two different methods of sewer-pipe replacement, and he made sure I completely understood all that he’d be doing, and was happy to answer any questions. I felt that he really cared about his workmanship, and me. With his easygoing yet hard-working son Robbie, the sewer-pipe job took two days, just like Rob said it would. They were friendly to my neighbors, careful with my trees, protected my plants and lawn, replaced the sod in my yard, and you can’t even tell they were here. Grew up wrestling Terry Massey’s Son at the age of 10 and ended up becoming brothers along the way, Not only is Terry Massey one of the most hard working dedicated fathers but he is an amazing teacher. He took me under his wing and had me working under crawl spaces doing repipe work for a short time, Taught me a lot of things I still use to this day. Terry Massey holds true to his values and has only earned a honest dollar his entire life. I’ve never heard profanity out of his mouth nor words of discouragement. Mario provided sensible information fast, even on weekends. He rediagnosed a problem and provided a much more through and rational repair recommendaiton than the other service provider that I contacted, and Mario's price was about 24% of the other provider's bid. I hope to never need him again, but if I do, he will be my first call.

Beyond outstanding service. We spotted a leak in our ceiling on a Thursday evening. GLS got us onto their schedule the next day. The crew worked quickly and thoroughly to identify the source of the leak and get it fixed for us. They were thoroughly communicative throughout the process, letting us know our options and what they were doing. They were clean and respectful of our house. Plus, they were affordable. I will be keeping their card for my next plumbing situation.
