I had a clogged kitchen sink that was backing up into my basement utility sink. They were able to come out same day, they had an advertised deal that seemed almost too good to be true. They were fabulous to talk to on the phone and schedule the visit and consult. After they gave me a definitive price, they grabbed their gear and were able to clear the drain in 15 minutes. The price was amazing, and they helped put my fears to rights. 10/10 would recommend!

Portland Star Plumbing was easy to work with, prompt, and very professional. They fixed a long-standing problem (incorrectly plumbed utility sink). Both service technicians observed COVID guidelines and cleaned up after themselves. We we’re very pleased, and will be hiring them to do a big job—all the plumbing for a new, above-garage apartment—this spring!

An old plastic shut-off valve got stuck halfway through, its handle cracked. No way to open, no turning. Not repairable, just cut out and replace, but because it was sitting right next to the wall, one has to go to the crawlspace and put a longer chunk of pipe too. Not a problem for Gary with Precision. Now I can enjoy the shower and not wait for the washing machine nor toilet to stop refilling. Probably more important: with the new brass valve I can reliably shut off the water any time. Dante came out to fix what I thought was a clogged toilet. He then gave me bad news that it was likely my sewage pump that had gone bad, which meant not using any of our plumbing downstairs. Even worse news…I have 7 people coming to stay with us over the long holiday weekend and they’re all staying downstairs! Dante said he would do his best to call around and find another pump. He came back with good news and bad news. Bad news is no pump until the following week. Good news is he was able to fix the pump, which failed due a simple electrical issue. To top off my joy, Dante said they weren’t going to charge me anything!

Crown Plumbing saved the day! My toddler flushed a toy down the only toilet in the house. I called every plumber in the area that I could, but was given a 1-2 day time estimate. Crown Plumbing went out of their way to get to my house in TWO HOURS! Tim showed up, and explained in detail what the options are, and then within 10 minutes the toy was out!! I was referred to Nichols Plumbing to replace a water valve for my refrigerator to be installed. Bob was able to come out the next day and checked it. He also discovered the valve was working and didn't need to be replaced after all, so he only charged me for coming out. He is honest and friendly. I highly recommend hiring Nichols Plumbing!

Bought a water heater from them in 2017 and they installed a propane water heater which my natural gas does nit convert to. I called them and the lady was rude and extremely unprofessional, she told me that since they are closing their doors this week and going out do business it doesn't matter. Talked to a very reputable plumbing company Sky Heating, AC, Plumbing and Electrical and they said that is absolutely wrong and why my unit is leaking. Do not work with this company and if you need a plumbing company go to them because unlike Western Plumbing they know what they are doing, they are professional and they actually care about people and the work they do. I will be filing a complaint with the CCB as well as the Attorney General. The least they could do is prorate the cost so we can put it towards a new one since they screwed up.
