Portland Star Plumbing was easy to work with, prompt, and very professional. They fixed a long-standing problem (incorrectly plumbed utility sink). Both service technicians observed COVID guidelines and cleaned up after themselves. We we’re very pleased, and will be hiring them to do a big job—all the plumbing for a new, above-garage apartment—this spring!

Smitty's Sewer was recommended as a company able to deal with a potentially broken storm drain pipe. They were responsive and fitted us into their schedule both for the initial evaluation and for doing the work (turns out we needed to have a rain garden installed to avoid the broken storm drain). In December 2022 when everyone is scheduling into January Smitty's was ready to take on this relatively small job almost immediately. Mario made the whole thing seamless and our larger remodeling plans were not disrupted but greatly helped by his responsiveness. The company was on time, professional, kept the area tidy, communicated well, worked hard, and provided cost effective service. We will definitely reach out to them in the future for drain cleaning and other pipe related services. Thanks for the good work and happy year-end holidays to all!

My water billed doubled and my meter was submerged in water, obvious a leak I needed fixed ASAP. James came today, and took care of it. He was very kind, knowledgeable and efficient. He had a very long day today, and my job was done very well, with great explanation and work ethic. I so appreciate the time and effort he put in, even with a little daughter at home waiting to go trick or treating.....he was so tired!!! I hope he gets some good rest!!! He totally deserves it.!

My neighbors called this company but for some reason they're blocking my driveway and when I came out to ask the driver to move the car he told me he'd be leaving in a few minutes anyway and then just walked away and disappeared. I said I needed to be able to get out of my driveway soon and I am not convinced that that matters to anyone. Furthermore I don't even see the necessity for blocking my driveway.

We had a back-up issue in our basement utility sink. Based on reviews, I called AAA this past Friday (10/12/18). Steve responded to my voice mail towards the end of his working day, and came over, in the early evening, the same day. He quickly assessed our problem, informed me of the problem, and went at it. What's not to like about Steve : diagnostic expertise, execution excellence, and stellar customer service. And, all at a cost that was substantially lower than I thought it would be. I would not hesitate to call upon Steve again, and recommend him to you. Plus, he brings a friendly, can and will do attitude with him. An easy 5 Star call!!

My whole basement was flooded from a recent storm. I had to gut and re-do their basements. I have a bathroom down there so needed to re-do some plumbing. I called this company, and they really are great plumbers. Very timely and knowledgeable. They really are the Best Portland Plumbers!

Prompt and professional service.

Appolo plumbing, Rob Freestone, came to the house to see what was causing our dishwasher to leak. He was very professional, and told us it was the dishwasher it self, not the plumbing. He also shared information about a great product and about a service plan. He was very professional, pleasant, polite, and curtious and respectful.

Overall good experience. Tech was prompt, kind, and experienced. Was careful in the house and left the place clean. Leaving 4 stars because of the pricing discrepancy. They lure you in with a reasonable price on the website, then hook you in for much more once the tech is on site. Website said $129 for drain clearing, ended up being either $450 for basic or $650 for the water jet that clears out majority of the blockage in the drain. If they had advertised the actual prices, I might have spent more time self-diagnosing the problem at hand.

I highly recommend Mike with Park Place Plumbing. He was thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly while replacing the old galvanized pipes in my home and installing a new water heater. He was patient during the scoping process as we determined the best placement and style of the new water heater, and we’ve been very happy with all of the results!

These folks were tops! We had Joe as our plumber! They were always so communicative, texted information on the person who was coming into our home. And as a woman who works from home alone, it was so nice to see a face and have a name of who was coming into my home. They put us on a cancelation schedule and the work was done a full 2 weeks earlier, always a lovely surprise! They spoke to me like a human, and explained things when I had questions. They were reasonable with the pricing, and didn't try to sell me on work I didn't need, in addition to allowing me to have the outdoor trench dug for them. While I hope that I don't need them again, I will hire them for every plumbing job I ever have!

Call the company for the first time a man answer the phone did not tell me the company name just said hello super standoffish I asked if he can come out to check out my home he said no he can’t I asked him if he can refer to anybody he said no and hung up on me super weird I would not recommend them
