Best Vent And Air Conditioning in Phoenix AZ
A/C stopped working, called on a Saturday morning and tech was out that afternoon. System was installed new by Parker & Sons 4 years ago, still under warranty. Tech did not have part to make the repair, was going to order it and give me a status report on Monday morning. Then tech tried to sell me on a surge protector for the HVAC system. Said it was necessary but could not tell me why they didn't install one when they first put the system in. If it was that necessary, why wasn't it installed then? Of course, got no answer. Received no call on Monday. Called first thing Tuesday to get a status, was told they had received the part on Monday and are ready to finish the repair. Tech came out on Tuesday afternoon and finished. Was then informed that there was a $95 charge that was called a "deductible". First explanation was that we did not do the necessary system inspections and that's why we were being charged. I informed the tech that inspections were done and paperwork could be produced. Inspections were done by another company due to lack of professionalism from Parker & Sons. Second explaination for the charge was due to the cost of location and picking up the needed part, the part that was under warranty. Paid the charge and called the CS rep that I initially talked to, was given his voice mail. Still waiting for a call back, it's been over a week. I've been told that I must buy an inspection package thru Parker & Sons or the remaining 6 years on the warranty will be null and void. I have talked to four people there to try and explain all the reasons for my disatisfaction (we have had other garbage work done by them), but nobody cares to listen. I am frustrated with the lack of professionalism, lack of quality work, constant upselling of unnecessary products and services, no returning of phone calls and upper management indifference. I figure I have 6 more years of them holding me hostage before I can deal with a company that cares more about their customers.

John was awesome (again). This was the second time we had him out to help us out and he was so friendly and honest we will never use another plumber. I can't recommend him and Hero Home Services more.

I was looking to replace a 12 yr old central A/C unit (Phoenix area). I contacted 5 A/C companies to quote on a new unit. One company never came but sent an email with two quoted prices, one for a 14SEER and one for a 16SEER unit. No make or models were given. The second company sent a tech who stood just inside the front door, never looked at the existing unit, asked only a cursory question of if there were any problems. He gave a verbal quote without mentioning a model (although he did mention a make.) He never sent the requested written quote. The third company sent a tech that at least examined the existing unit (along with the air handler.) He suggested a small addition of dampers and gave a verbal quote (mentioning a make but no model), and failed to provide a written quote, while also mentioning that they didn't do the actual install. (Why wouldn't I just go with the actual installer then?) The fourth company sent a tech who did a fairly thorough exam of the existing system as well as asking about any problems we had with the current system. (We said we had an imbalance where some rooms were much warmer and some much colder than others.) He recommended dampers and moving slightly the air handler, recommended a make and model heat pump, and (over) $400 for new air return grills. (Note, not redoing the return ducts, just the grills!!) After all rebates and 'coupons were figured in, they were the most expensive, but not by a large amount. At least they gave a written quote detailing all hardware and labor. Finally Day & Night sent a tech who did a very thorough exam of existing system and our concerns/problems (with the room imbalance.) He recommended several different systems (differing in SEER etc.), a new air handler with custom configuration (because of cramped attic space), minor reducting for the room imbalance. The written quote was complete with make/model, all labor, etc. They weren't the cheapest for sure, but weren't the most expensive either! They quoted a top rated make and model. We went with D&N based on their quote (completeness, competitive pricing) and their many online reviews. The install took all day with a 3-man crew showing up right on time (6am!!). Two air handlers were promptly rejected because they were delivered with visible damage just to be safe. The crew was very courteous and professional, taking excellent care not to damage the house (e.g., putting down protective floor mats.)The unit has been working great for a little over two weeks now. It's too early to tell how it affects our electric usage (going from 12 y/o 12 SEER to new 18 SEER should help a lot.) D&N came back 2 weeks after the install (as they said they would) to check on the system and find out how we found the system. We noted a slight imbalance yet (although greatly improved from before) that the tech took care of.We are SO glad we went with D&N for this.

When I called Scott's for a last minute request they were very helpful and professional, however for my last min request they were not available on that day (understandably though - everyone is super busy!). Thankfully they connected me with another drain professional who immediately called and was able to go to my house and assess the situation for me. I'm just so thankful for a business who is willing to look beyond their own business or financial gain and really just care about the client being taken care of, even if it wasn't them who would get the business. I already have Scott's scheduled for a different request and plumbing need. Thank you for your professionalism and care for the client!

Our air conditioner randomly broke and during a really hot day. Not only did the company send someone out on the same day but the person they sent out was extremely kind and friendly. Not only that I reviewed our purchase with my best friend who happens to own an air conditioning company in another state. The deal they set me up with was really good they didn't rip me off at all. If I ever need anything air conditioning related in the future I am definitely coming back to this company.
