I am student at RSI (The Refrigeration School) and was looking for a reputable company to put my new skills to the test and work around my school schedule. There was a company named Penguin Air and Plumbing coming in class to speak to us all and I found myself asking a lot of questions and Jay, the General Manager answered every question proudly and certainly with his head held High, you could tell he was very happy there. The next day I went to Penguin Air and applied for a Service Technician position. After having several companies come out and give us quotes for a completely new HVAC system, new air handler and moving the air handler to a new location we felt that Day/Night did the best job giving us options to choose from as far as the types of systems. The original estimate and measurements were quite extensive due to all the changes and Jason did a very thorough job. We felt as though we had a ton of information to help make our choice. No pressure, just great info. When it came time to install Troy came out the day before to double check everything and confirm what we wanted. He also made video's for the team that would come out the following day for the install. We had about 6 guys in our house for about 8 hours installing our new system. The supervisor walked us through everything that would happen, checked with us about where the new intake would be, thermostats, etc.. which I very much appreciated. After lunch their boss Troy stopped by to check in and make sure that everything was going according to instruction. All in all we could not be happier with our experience so far. I did a ton of research on HVAC brands and we decided to go with a Trane system. Great warranty and great reviews. I have also had Day/Night work on some plumbing issues and they were again fantastic, on-time, great communication and I never felt that I was being pressured to by something or upgrade to something I didn't need. I appreciate that. Every person on their team has been professional and great to work with. You can tell they like what they do. Great job team and great job Day & Night teaching and training your servicemen to do a job right! Much appreciated, you've got a loyal customer in me!!!!

Scott has always been there for AC repairs and now finally a replacement. He was prompt with service and we had a new unit quickly installed. I will definitely be using his services again!

Bought a new heat pump from ACE in 2016. Had annual arrive by ACE since purchased. Ended up with the heat not working this winter and called for service. The tech came out, changed a 30 cent fuse and charged the $79.95 service call. Heat worked for about 40 minutes and the fuse popped. We tied to replace the fuse and they kept popping, so called Saturday for another service call. The service manager scheduled the appointment for Sunday between 7am and 11am and diagnosed the issue as a faulty thermostat wire over the phone and said he would be sure the tech had the wire on his truck. Sunday's appointment was a no call, no show. When I called them, I was told they have no one to service me as 3 techs called out. Appointment was rescheduled for Monday at 5pm. The tech arrived, did not test anything, changed the fuse again and it popped right away. He said he wouldnt test anything else, but could not do the repair since he had no wire on his truck. He quoted $480 to replace the wire, but only 60 feet of the 75 ft that runs from the thermostat to the unit. With no guarantee that would solve the issue! He was asked to leave. Called another local company, tech came out and in 10 mins found the issue. Patched it up, as it's a manufacturer defect and they are working on the warranty to get a proper repair. In the meanwhile, I have heat. Oh...best part...no charge for service call or work done. Hubby replaced thermostat wire for $40 and 20 mins time. I will no longer do business or recommend ACE
