We had a major issue with a plumbing leak late on a Friday night that was flooding our kitchen. They made it a priority to come out within the hour when no other plumbers would. They quickly isolated and addressed the issue. They were very friendly and professional. I can't recommend them enough!

Another great job from this company,Especially to Bob who did our shower. Our shower was leaking, no water pressure, and no hot water coming out. The big issue was when we moved in there's no access through the wall. Called Joe and no time he put us on schedule. Highly. Highly. Recommend.I had flooding issues which resulted in a violation from the city for plumbing defect. Our home insurance sent out a plumber that told us it was the lateral that was blocked. The city told us that it was our curb trap that was blocked. We didn't know who to believe at this point, only that we had 10 business days to resolve the issue or else our water would be cut off.So glad we found Drains R Us. They not only unblocked everything for us but helped us get that violation lifted and we didn't have to pay thousands for unnecessary repairs.Very knowledgeable. They know exactly what they're doing. Ask for Tuan and Kit! Life savers indeed.

Had a bad leak in basement and wasn’t sure where it was coming from. Splash came out right away for leak detection. Leak was caused from a bad curb trap. Curb trap or sewer line was repaired. They cleaned everything up for me and the place looked better than it ever did. Additionally, they used a solution to kill germs and smell from the leak. Truly appreciate the great job they did for us.

First I need to say that when I called on a Sunday for an emergency, they were extremely helpful & arranged for a tech that day. Mike Roman was great. Found our problem & fixed it immediately. He even offered suggestions, & then provided treatment, to prevent future occurrences. Thank you Zoom!!

I never leave reviews but Mark and his brother were so amazingly helpful I have to share. We had a leak in our condo bathroom that was causing water to drip into the unit below. Mark was recommended to me by out HOA manager. We thought we had addressed the issue sufficiently for him to come out the next day to do the repair but by evening the owner below was frantic as more water was entering her apartment. We called Mark back, in desperation, and he was gracious and compassionate. He went above and beyond to get to our building and do the repair that night despite needing to find a babysitter. All this for a total stranger!. The repair was done quickly and competently and the price was reasonable. I would hire him and his brother again in a heartbeat. Give these guys a chance. You won't be sorry!

Generally, I rate McLoughlin well. Today, not so. The last 2 small plumbing jobs that they've done at my home were way too expensive. I'd almost classify it as price gouging.They installed my HVAC system about 18 months ago. I've been on annual contract for both HVAC and plumbing since then. This is supposed to be at discounted rates (15% off).Yesterday, I generated a $375.00 invoice for a simple repair of a leaking shower. That amount would have been about $440.00 without the 'discount'. It was a drop in part. Total service time was about 90 minutes to include the time the Tech spent going to and from the supply house to get the replacement part. I later found out that the part lists at $53.00. So, working off the non discounted price (since I already paid for the discount). I got hit for close to $400.00 for 90 minutes work on a non emergency call. What's that work out to ... about $275.00 an hour? If you can easily afford that labor rate, hats off to you. You're a lot more successful than me.I asked the Tech what the part cost at the time of service. He didn't know, which I find ridiculous since he had just ran to the supply house and bought the thing. I called the main office and asked them to itemize their invoice so I could see how much I paid for parts, labor, etc ... they refused (one can guess why). I asked them to have a manager contact me ... we're about 24 hours post service. My phone has not rung (likely because someone doesn't want to make that call).Most contractors on the main line are a little bit of a rip off ... that's rules of the game and most people expect that. When one has to consider using loan sharking and / or bookmaking terminology to describe a contractor's pricing, they've gone too far.Nice people, good craftsmanship ... but feeling abused on cost. Look elsewhere.

Very disappointed. Worked with Ed Hughes for a few years now.This last job I had a leaking shower. They charged me $450 to caulk some tiles. They couldn't find the leak and the problem persisted.Paid for another plumber who identified the problem immediately for half the price. He asked why Ed Hughes didn't even look at the drain.I've called Ed Hughes numerous times over the last couple weeks and the women on the phone are always fantastic but for some reason they can't get the plumbers to call me back.Really trying to understand what I paid $450 for? Would really like my money back.
