I had an emergency pipe repair over the weekend and they were able to come out the next day to repair it. They also kept in constant contact with me to make sure everything could be completed when they came out. The service was extremely thorough and they made sure everything was explained to me. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Great company. Always shows up on time. Courteous, with very efficient and knowledgeable mechanics. They are pleasant to work with and neat. They accommodate the customer’s needs. We used them for HVAC and hot water heater. I highly recommend their services.

We had some issues setting up the appointment. Their on line contact site was not working. So after emailing several times I finally called and spoke to the office team and provided pictures of the work. They told me one of the plumbers would call me. Three days later I called back and had to set an appointment. Needed a credit card to secure the appointment. They called to confirm the day before. Plumber arrived on time. Inspected the job and priced out the faucet replacement at $1057. Higher than expected but the job was completed that day and seems to be quality work. Will possibly use them again depending on the job.

Our rep, Shane, was 1) quick to arrive and polite, 2) diagnosed our issue quickly and honestly, and 3) chose a more difficult to him, but cost effective to me option (he cut and climbed through insulation in a difficult to reach, super tiny crawl space rather than pull/tear up my floor, which would have been a lot more billing hours) to reach a separated pipe. He fixed the issue, kept the mess to a minimum, and even my dog liked him. Thank you, Shane!

Tommy, Steve, and Zac were all fantastic. Had a huge leak and had to do a major repair on the heating line pipes in my employer’s home. Found Mcloughlin on Kohler’s website. My own plumber was reluctant to work on a Kohler shower. Mcloughlin came out right away, had the part on their truck and took about 15 mins to install it. The service person was great.My only complaint was that I didn’t fully understand that they charge per visit. It cost me $500 to have a part installed that probably cost less than $100.Glad I had it fixed quickly instead of waiting weeks for a part to come in but I should have questioned the bill further before I agreed to move ahead. They do everything on an iPad & I didn’t take the time to read it. The receipt they provided did not provide the actual cost of the part. Seems like they take advantage of unsuspecting customers a bit. I’ll shops around next time before using them again.

My experience was nothing short of excellent. I reached out at 6 something at night and someone was at my door in under a hour. Our heat wasn’t turning on and the gentlemen let me know what needed to be fixed and how it was going to get fixed. He did a amazing job.

The plumber was on time, worked efficiently, and kept me informed throughout the process. The pipeline from the garbage disposer was badly clogged, but it was repaired professionally. He was very professional in explaining the leak issue. The only issue that I had was the overall cost.. How your company came up with the breakdown cost.I felt that it was a little steep.However, the leak was in a area that difficult to fix..But overall I was very pleased with the job.

McLoughlin has excellent plumbers who do the job right, unlike others I've tried. However, unbelievably high prices detract from an overall 5-star experience.

The tech(don) arrived right on time and was Knowledgeable on steam systems. He was proficient with his wrk and took the time to explain what he was going to do and how he would do it. He also answered the several questions that I had and also provided tips on self maintenance. The sight flaw valve assembly was a little pricey but it needed to be done. My water pressure had been horrible for years. They accessed what was wrong and returned with the ordered parts in less than a week and completely fixed the problem. Pricing was reasonable and the installers were very professional.

This review is overdue. Several years ago a difficult to access/replace upscale shower fixture in our master bath had to be replaced. Several other plumbers were either not interested due to the complexity of the job or provided plans/quotes which were too involved and costly. Bob was responsive and provided a comprehensive plan which was executed seamlessly, coordinating the tile and plumbing work at a reasonable cost. I was very impressed with being provided with a total solution for an involved project with an excellent result.

Very responsive with quick turnaround time for scheduling, and office staff is communicative on the day of service. Every technician has been great, providing updates throughout the diagnostic process and showing their knowledge/expertise with successful repairs.

Same day service, restored my hot water and heat. Courteous, professional, so glad to have McLoughlin for all my plumbing and HVAC needs.

The technician came to my home during the window of time that was given to me by the main office. The gentleman was very polite and professional. He put on his booties to enter the house. I showed him the outside hose spigot. The technician shared with me that I really didn't need to tie off the spigot line but could use a new knob for the spigot. He explained the costs but there really wasn't a cost difference he explained why would you tie off a perfectly good spigot if you can have one for the front yard and one for the backyard.I liked the fact that he shared this information in a non-pushy way. He went to work. In and out. He understood that I had to work while he was at my home. Overall a good experience.

The service was prompt, professional and friendly. The work done was through and all the filters and other needed maintenance items were available and all needed maintenance completed on the first visit in a timely manner.A problem with the humidifier that the former service company was not able to fix was fixed on this visit. 2023 I am updating this post as I have continued to use this company for warranty repairs and maintainencesince the original installation. The service technicians sent have since been competent and polite.This company has good service getting the contract ...until you spend thousands. ..then good luck. They don't honor their service contract promises. They also schedule maintanance appointments after you pay for the comfort club and just don't show up. I scheduled an appointment for today when I paid my contract. I am a nurse and have a difficult schedule in days off. I expected them this afternoon and worked my day off around this appointment. After calling them to see when they would be here I was told not till Friday which is a day i have to take my sister to her oncologist. Because I have few days off I always confirm dates verbally several times when making apointments. This company changed my appointment to their convenience on a day that I was not even available. I now have to set another day aside to reschedule.Uortunately today is not the only mishap that has occurred in my relationship with them. I truly regret spending the money I did on their installation of very expensive carrier equipment and having purchased an extended warranty which now essentially marries me to their inept capacity to treat customers respectfully. UNFORTUNATELY IF YOU PURCHASE GREENSPEED EQUIPMENT YOU END UP LOCKED INTO SPECIFIC COMPANIES TO DO SERVICE. BE SURE TO THINK TWICE. MAYBE I SHOULD BE CONTACTING CARRIER AT THIS POINT.

McLoughlin came out the day I called and did a diagnosis of the problem which fixed the issue immediately. Tech was clean and courteous. Overall great experience.

The technician seemed knowledgeable and efficient, but we were surprised by the price once we got our bill. I was charged $49.50 service fee and about $224 for a toilet stoppage clear with auger. The tech used the auger I own, and said there really wasn't any clog. He spent about 10-15 minutes in my home total and said everything seemed fine. After contacting the company, they said they will reimburse the service fee, but there is nothing more they can do. I am sure it's a fine company, just make sure they are up front with you about pricing before they do anything.

I called at 10 am to report a problem we were having with the new thermostat McLoughlin had installed during the summer. By 4pm Ronnie came quickly fixed and explained the issue.

We needed a water line for ice maker replaced. Shutoff valves need to be replaced. Because water will need to be turned off in the building we had to reschedule. Service person was great in explaining what had to be done and giving us an estimate. He was courteous and professional and we would have them come back anytime. We were so pleased with the company they are now my go to plumbers. I highly recommend them.

Sunday evening we noticed our unit was not cooling. Called McLoughlin first thing Monday am. Mechanic was dispatched and repair was completed Monday afternoon. Great friendly and professional service in the middle of a heat wave.

Timely and professional, but very expensive! $358 just to change a faucet. It took one hour of work and I provided the new faucet. I was pleased with the service, but the price was very high for a relatively simple task. I would’ve done it myself had I had the proper tools.

Mike from McLoughlin Plumbing was efficient and very helpful and kind dealing with our pump issue on our Koehler Tub with jets. I would have him come out again to fix our plumbing issues. He was wonderful!

I reached out to McLoughlin for a second opinion after I was told that I had a major coolant leak. The company who installed my geothermal units and who had been maintaining them, wanted to replace my entire unit. My McLoughlin technician was so knowledgeable. I am a long time customer of McLoughlin. They installed a new bathroom in my house as well as doing plumbing repairs over the years. The service is excellent. You receive a prompt response, very professional and skilled service and the service persons always treat your home with the utmost care. Frank did a very good job in fixing and replacing a section of sewer stand pipe in the basement. He had to break up the concrete floor, extract the old pipe that had a crack in it and insert a new cast iron section of the pipe. He was efficient and competent and cleaned up everything. Very satisfied.

We were having issues with our heat. We have a dual zone system. They came out the same day we called and took care of the issue and took care of another issue we were having with our heat.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are scam artists that think they can overcharge when people are in a bind.I purchased a home that had a Bradford White 50 Gallon - 40,000 BTU TTW Power Vent Energy Saver Residential Water Heater installed on 4-23-19 by McLoughlin. At the time of writing, the unit is a little over 3 years old and is still covered under Bradford White's 6 year warranty.I have a Floodstop installed that automatically shut the valve when it sensed water in the pan and contacted McLoughin yesterday to have the tank replaced. I did tell them it wasn't emergent for them to come out last night, and they could come out in the morning. I sent them photos of the unit so they had the model number & serial number for the warranty claim. They finally got back to me at noon today and said they could come out after 3PM today and replace the tank for $1,445. My mother-in-law just had the same situation with a Bradford White water heater a month ago and paid ~$800. I called my regular plumber and he said he could do it for ~$500 to $600 plus ~$100 to get the 6yr warranty back in effect for the new tank . I called McLoughin back and told them their price was too high and they offer to knock $150 off the cost. They're pricing was still SKY high, so I told them to forget about it -- I could go buy a new hot water heater and have it installed for $1,500. I also would advise against Bradford White's, they are not the same quality they used to be. They spend a lot of $$$ on advertising but their product is not the top quality they claim it to be.If you want to be ripped off when you have a heating, cooling, plumbing or hot water emergency, call McLoughin!

Rob was great! He determined my needs; he wore a mask and booties which I much appreciate; he replaced the ultra violet light in the filter system; he recommended and installed an Asurity wet switch flood detector.

What a ridiculous experience. After scheduling for 8am, the technician showed up at 10am while I was on a work call and flustered.I was told our faucet needed replacing (no problem) and that we should invest in a better faucet so it lasts this time.After agreeing to a 'better' faucet, he left to pick it up. He was back an hour later and stayed for 30 mins to install.Turned out the total cost was $960(!), and the faucet was only $300. $660 for 30 mins work!? I felt I was intentionally mislead and would never use them again. When I called to ask for an itemized bill, I was told they don't do that, and the lady wasn't interested.Awful service.

I have used McLoughlin Plumbing in the past and I have always been satisfied. I am always happy to support an honest local business. McLoughlin installed our new dishwasher, removed the old, and installed a new shut off valve. I am also happy that I did not have to worry about disposing of our old unit. Thank you for your service! This company is the absolute best! After years of frustration and struggling with another HVAC company we made the switch to McLoughlin a year ago and are so thrilled that we made the change. They are responsive efficient knowledgeable and professional. Can’t say enough good things about them!

I'm really happy with the service we received! Bob McLoughlin was really responsive when I reached out to schedule and gave me an estimate over the phone. He sent a plumber out really quickly, who removed a radiator for us. While he was here, he gave me a few great suggestions to make our hot water system more efficient (one that was free for me to do, and one that would require some work but with no pressure to do it). Next time we have a plumbing need, I'll come back to McLoughlin.

We have been customers for almost 20 years and in that time not only have I ever received bad treatment but I have always been able to speak to someone and scheduling service has been so easy. The technicians are all well trained and educated which I greatly appreciate- as well when they are supposed to be at your home at a certain time they always are and if they ever are running behind i always get a phone call or text- they are also very professional when speaking to you. the office staff is always professional, kind and listen well and honor all requests they can. They are very accommodating especially if you work and can’t wait a 4 hour window- they always text when the tech is 10 minutes away. I have felt extremely well taken care of for all these years.

Repairman was very nice and arrived on the dot of- one more minute and he would be late. The repair cost way more than I expected. My heat pump is 13 yrs old so did not know what to expect. It usually just need a charge of coolant.

We bought our heater from McLoughlin about 10 years ago. We had no heat and called. It took a few hours, but someone came out to us, assessed the problem, and explained everything in great detail. Robert gave us a quote, and went to work! It took a while, he had to do some redirecting because we need a switch, which is on order; and we are back in a warm house !!! We have been struggling with a major air conditioning issue for weeks that no one was willing to help us fix/diagnose/triage. We called McLoughlin after being referred by a family-member and they responded right away. The specialist Rob spent a significant amount of time analyzing the situation and answering all our questions. He confirmed that the whole system had been installed incorrectly and that their were major issues (which we already suspected) but helped us come up with somegood solutions and set us up with an appointment with their engineer the next day. For the first time in weeks, I feel like we are finally “getting somewhere” and that we weren’t just being blown off. I can’t thank these guys enough.

I paid over $180 for 15 min evaluation to check where is the leak noise coming from. I was told $50 for the eval then got charged 180. Ridiculous.
The best part is there was no solution to the problem.

Job well done, replaced new Kholer aerator and cartridges since Kholer no longer carries the faucet that I had purchased years ago. Plumber was professional, skilled and effective. My faucet feels like knew and functional. He was very kind enough to tighten my loose toilet seat. Yes, I will definitely use their service and recommend them to other customers who yearns for good plumbing.

We have used McLoughlin for many years and have always been satisfied. Most recently they installed a bathroom vanity, sink and faucet. The technician was excellent and helped us with design considerations before the installation. We are very happy with the new vanity.

The technician came within an hour on a Sunday night. He diagnosed and fix the problem on my steam boiler relatively quickly. I am very happy with the service.

After Saturday and Super Bowl Sunday with no heat or hot water, I visited the website of McLoughlin PHC. I read the reviews and liked that they were in close proximity. I left a message Monday morning at 6am and the office called about 8am. The receptionistconfirmed my information and told me that a tech would be out between 11 and 2 pm; and Jesse, the tech, arrived around 12:30. I was very happy to see him since it was 55 degrees in the house. He diagnosed the problem and about 3 hours later, the problems were fixed. He explained what needed to be done and made recommendations to extend the life of my boiler. I am a first time customer and I will be following up soon with the service recommendations.......thanks to Jesse.

I’ve used McLaughlin for many many years lotta air conditioning, heating ,maintenance and other things . I’m extremely disappointed with this experience . I was happy that they came right out which I paid a little bit over two hundred dollars . but they did come out the same day that I called so that’s a positive . however I showed the mechanic who was a very nice person , very clean very , very professional where I had issues he evaluated it and gave me a price to fix a relay switch , it was a little bit over $750. And I said OK go order the part and call me when it comes in. Well I looked up the part that he needed HoneywellR845A1030 and the part cost me $90. That’s right $90. There are 8 wires to disconnect and two sheet metal screws to remove the unit. Put the new unit back ,screw in sheet screws reconnect the eight wires and you’re done. So how can I justify a $700 charge. That’s all I’m saying. Unfortunately I will be looking for a new heating and air-conditioning company to service my house. They are very dependable so it is a shame about the extraordinary price

Generally, I rate McLoughlin well. Today, not so. The last 2 small plumbing jobs that they've done at my home were way too expensive. I'd almost classify it as price gouging.They installed my HVAC system about 18 months ago. I've been on annual contract for both HVAC and plumbing since then. This is supposed to be at discounted rates (15% off).Yesterday, I generated a $375.00 invoice for a simple repair of a leaking shower. That amount would have been about $440.00 without the 'discount'. It was a drop in part. Total service time was about 90 minutes to include the time the Tech spent going to and from the supply house to get the replacement part. I later found out that the part lists at $53.00. So, working off the non discounted price (since I already paid for the discount). I got hit for close to $400.00 for 90 minutes work on a non emergency call. What's that work out to ... about $275.00 an hour? If you can easily afford that labor rate, hats off to you. You're a lot more successful than me.I asked the Tech what the part cost at the time of service. He didn't know, which I find ridiculous since he had just ran to the supply house and bought the thing. I called the main office and asked them to itemize their invoice so I could see how much I paid for parts, labor, etc ... they refused (one can guess why). I asked them to have a manager contact me ... we're about 24 hours post service. My phone has not rung (likely because someone doesn't want to make that call).Most contractors on the main line are a little bit of a rip off ... that's rules of the game and most people expect that. When one has to consider using loan sharking and / or bookmaking terminology to describe a contractor's pricing, they've gone too far.Nice people, good craftsmanship ... but feeling abused on cost. Look elsewhere.

A service call was ordered by my cousin to come to my home.I was happy to see he chose McLoughlin.I have had them in past for workAround my home.You are the best in everything you do. The service and quality are excellent! An A+ to all of you there.

I called the company on 7/21/20 about a slow leak originating from my second floor bathroom and dripping into my foyer. The person who answered the phone was professional and helpful. The earliest she was able to schedule a plumber to come out was on 7/24. She was upfront about the $50 fee for the plumber to come out, which I agreed to. The plumber came out on 7/24 and was punctual and friendly. In order to properly assess the situation, he needed to open up my foyer ceiling to expose the pipes. He was upfront in telling me there would be a $300 charge to cut open the ceiling, which I agreed to. He was able to determine the source of the problem to be the drain line for the vanity. He temporarily stopped the drip by turning off the water to the second floor bathroom. I was told the owner would need to put together an estimate for the job and was promised that he would be in touch. I paid my $355.59 bill, no problem. After not hearing anything for a couple of days, I placed a follow up call to the office on 7/28. I was told the owner was on vacation the day before, out on jobs all that day, and that he would be in touch. Today marks 3 weeks since the plumber was out to my home and I still have not heard back about the estimate. Very disappointing to have paid $350 and be left with the same problem I started with, a hole in my ceiling, and no estimate. Perhaps they were not interested in the job but I would have preferred to be told directly rather than waste time waiting for an estimate.

McLoughlin Plumbing and Cooling are terrific. Their service is excellent: fast, reliable and experienced. All of the staff from the office to the technicians are great at their jobs and pleasant to work with. I use them for all my plumbing and heating and cooling needs. I would highly recommend them!

I have used McLoughlin Plumbing on a number of occasions and have always been pleased with the honest work the service technician has provided. Most recently I called on a Thursday afternoon to see if someone could come the next afternoon and even asked for a specific time. They did it! The work was done quickly and when I asked for advice about future work that should be done, I got an honest answer - nothing urgent! Can't really say how their prices compare, but I feel I am being treated fairly.

My water heater sprung a leak last night. Their on-call guy helped me figure out how to turn off the water & gas to the heater. Then they came out today to install a new unit. They were courteous, professional and affordable. I'd never used them before but would not hesitate to use them again!
