Best Sewer System in Minneapolis MN

Several pipes of mine were damaged / burst during this past cold winter. I was recommended TJK by a family member and they were able to come out within 1 week. Tim and his crew showed up ontime and was here for 8 hours straight as we hunted for burst pipes one after another. He was super fast and efficient with on-the-spot soldering and repairs, and has impressive knowledge in his domain. I was with them the whole time and after 8 long hours we were able to troubleshoot the areas and put my house's pipes back in working order. Still need to replace a faucet but almost there. Will def keep these guys on my rolodex!

I'm not going to blast this business with a rotten review written out of anger as I've used them previously, successfully. I'm with Suzie on this one that left a review 9 months ago. Like her, I had spent hours with my wife, who is South for the winter, on selecting a replacement faucet for our kitchen. It is the only one that we wanted installed and had it available at the sink, and they knew this when I ordered the service. Install only. The tech comes out and firmly asserts that I have 4 options. He wouldn't hear of just doing what I ordered, just install. The first one was 2400 to replace the garbage disposal and all the valves Etc. My beef is this: I should have been told that the tech was going to look at everything under that sink and give me this line of options. I work and was not there. Not fair. My second beef is that he tried to sell me a Moen with the second and third option. How in the world would he know what we would want, and beyond that, our selection was right in front of him. That's ridiculous. I did take him up on changing a couple of shut off valves assuming he was correct in doing this on a prevention basis.
My last observation was the CSI call the next day which could have been a total plus but after my answer that I was happy with the install I was asked to rate the service from 1-10 and I'm sure there were 5-10 questions after that.
My advice is this: If you want to survey me, ask me if I have time. Please don't assume that we all love surveys. I'm survey weary. A lot could have been done better here. They are a good business, but this part needs a tune up.

Jake the Plumber was the second quote we got on a job in our century-old condo unit where we are relocating a washer/dryer and revamping a kitchen and utility room. Based on online recommendations and Jake's thorough examination of the job, we asked him to do the work.

On the first day the crew showed up at the designated time and worked through the day. Unfortunately, our old building had a surprise for us. After shutting down the building's water to install shutoffs to our unit, the building's valve failed and obstructed the flow of water to all the other units Jake and crew stayed on the job until after 9pm to repair the issue, and were complemented by the other occupants of the building on how well the situation was handled. Jake went to each affected unit and checked for pressure, and cleared grit out of water lines as needed. (Apparently this fragile old building has had other plumbing issues in the past, so the other owners here were remarkably understanding!)

Despite the extra work (our association covered the expense of the failed building valve - Jake's charges were very reasonable), Jake and crew completed the work on time and within budget. This job is the first of several as we rehab our unit and we will be calling on Jake the Plumber to continue when we begin the next phase.

I just had my faucet, drain and overflow valve replaced on the 100 year-old tub in my 100 year-old home. Nick worked for about 5 hours on this project which included lots of new pipe. He arrived on-time and gave good explanations of what was happening. I've used this company in the past and will likely use them again. I'm very pleased.

Cleaned my drain very quickly. Jeffery explained everything and was very professional and courteous. Don’t forget to use the coupon. Jeffrey was great.

Great service, fast and clean

Alex came to fix a couple issues we were having at the house and was extremely kind, professional, fast and polite. I will be recommending Norblom Plumbing and specifically Alex to anyone I know that has any plumbing issues. It’s good to know that great customer service is not gone and Alex proved that today in spades.

Mark is amazing. He’s extremely knowledgeable and practical. He went through all the steps with me and made sure all my questions were covered. He wore shoe covers at all times, kept everything clean and tidy, and shared great tips and tricks. Bonfe does great work and Mark is top notch.Tom M installed the new Zoeller sump pump and battery back up today. He was incredible. He did great work, made sure all my questions were answered, listened to my prior experience and made suggestions and fixes that addressed my concerns, and left the place cleaner than he found it. Thank you for the great work, the fantastic attitudes, and the quick turn around!!

2017 I did Phase I of a big renovation and spent 19K with Steinkraus and when I got the bill I asked for back up documentation to support the invoice and was given the run around and an answer well we aren't the cheapest plumbers and we need to cover overhead. When we started Phase II we really like the plumber and thought let's give them a second try and asked for another person to be our contact. They sent the owner Merle and he did a bid which we signed but stated we were concerned that some of Phase III might be included but were told don't worry we will be fair and take care of you. When I got the 17K bill I had kept track of all the hours. I am about 5K in the dark how they came up with the total and they refuse to itemize the invoice. My advise is if you work with them it is time and materials and you ask for documentation. The time spent on site for Ryan was a total of 67 x $135.00 = $9045.00 plus $1000.00 Material plus fixtures $2440.00 =$12, 485.00. Even if you added on a 20% management fee it still would be below the $17,210.00 invoice I received. So basically they charged me $205.00 an hour? I just wish they felt the need to walk me through all the charges but they have no interest. The good news we think our plumber was great just not the front office. The bad news is we have Phase III and can't use them. 5 Stars for plumbing!

Right off the bat when talking to the scheduler/operator I had a feeling this place was not at all professional. When the tech arrived with tools in a bucket I didn't feel any better.

And then the time came for the fix...
The tech didn't have a handle puller to pull my shower faucet handle off. I stupidly agreed to pay a visit fee of $80 on the weekend. I regretted it right away because the tech had no shot to fix the problem, not having the tool to get past step one.

Don't go with this place. Absolutely no reason to pick them over an Eric Nelson Plumbing or Athena or Burnomatic or Uptown Plumbing.

Didn't get the refund I was after either,
A week later (Saturday) I called them to ask for some sort of refund. The person on the other end said it was busy that Easter weekend and told me they'd look into it and call me back on Tuesday. It's now the following Monday and I never got a call. Called them and ranted as politely as I could. He offered me 10% off my next plumbing job with them. Ha.

Quick to show up. Cleared tough clog. Very reasonable rates. Will call every time I have a problem.

Phone call resulted in same day appointment, with full service scheduled for the following day. Kurt was personable, knowledgable, and professional. With his can do attitude, he replaced both outdoor faucets and indoor shutoff valves, one of which was quite difficult to access.
I would definitely use this company again and recommended to friends.

A technician was able to come out the same evening I discovered water in my basement. He communicated with me about every step of his process. He was very professional and respectful.

We needed plumbing help right away when our kitchen sink suddenly wouldn't drain -- and Pablo actually came out right away, indeed. Nice, helpful, quoted the price before he did anything. We definitely recommend him!

Was assigned to this contractor by a home warranty company. Was told to call if I didn’t hear from them in one business day. I gave them 2. Called 2 times, texted, had my landlord call with zero response. After a week I found someone else to fix it on my own. That is horrible customer service, to not even be acknowledged. Choose another company.
