They were professional, helpful and did a great job installing a new turn off valve for us. The technician was very kind and explained things in depth. He also helped us save money with an easy fix on a leaky valve. We'd for use Norblom again.

John was awesome. I called on a Friday and he was out on the next Thursday. It would have been even quicker but he had the unfortunate circumstance of losing his partner and beloved brother recently. He’s a great guy and is already working with another experienced plumber named Brian. They were courteous, knowledgeable and right on time. He could have plumbed my spigot like the last one but took the time to do it properly and more professionally. John also give me a quote before doing any work, so I knew exactly what the costs were going to be. John also explained what he was doing and why. They also cleaned up any mess that was made and left my basement as clean if not cleaner than they found it. I would not hesitate to call Stillwater Plumbing again when I have a plumbing need. With such a shortage of good plumbers around these days, it’s comforting knowing I can call on John and him and his partner will get the job done. Thank you for a job well done!

I found Service Star plumbing on Angie’s List along with a few others. No one else called me back. I received a call within an hour from Service Star Plumbing. Josh was out within 2 days to fix my leaking drain. I could’ve gotten same day service but it wasn’t that urgent and my schedule couldn’t allow for it.

Josh was prompt, friendly, and courteous. He explained my options and was open to doing extra work for me that I hadn’t disclosed when I made the appointment. I am super impressed with the work completed and the one year warranty. I would definitely call again if I have anymore plumbing needing to be done.

Great family owned business. Plumber, one of the Hovde sons, was terrific, and very quick. I had a blown water heater and that had to be replaced. They were here the next morning, worked hard, and even came in $200+ under the initial estimate. Couldn't be more pleased. My neighbor got a bid for the exact same water heater and it came in more than twice as much as my bid from a family owned business. SHOP LOCAL, SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESS!!

I have been having a nightmare of a job with my plumbing (we hired a non reputable and turns out non licensed plumber), and although it was a small job, they did a fantastic and quick job getting me taken care of and fixing the mess that was left. Chris treated me with the utmost respect, was diligent and very helpful. I would definitely recommend them, and will use them for any future jobs!

I called MSP Plumbing, Heating and Air after another HVAC company did not respond to my request for a furnace and AC tune up. I was extremely pleased with their responsiveness and ability to schedule an appointment after normal working hours.Thomas E was excellent, very knowledgeable and showed a strong dedication to his work. He made sure to explain things along the way, and made sure I visually saw what he was talking about and understood how the issues affect performance and cost. He took the time to answer all of my questions, and did so cheerfully (which helped put me at ease - as a new homeowner I have enough things to worry about!).

Completely saved us this morning with a severely clogged toilet. He was at our place within 12 minutes, and quickly and efficiently fixed the issue (which included removing the toilet and putting it back on!). Joe was the dude, and was extremely professional and nice. Would highly recommend.

What a nightmare. My kitchen sink clogged last month. Saw their $94 special and called. Was told it would be $149, not 94, I was desperate and agreed. Guy showed up late, was here 5.5 hrs (until almost midnight), had to keep calling for advice, added a clear out that prob wasn’t needed, left black greasy muck all over my kitchen, upstairs bath and basement and charged me $500. Called the next am. Said he felt bad and wanted to come try again, set a time. I was skeptical and about to call the office when he called back and said they should come with a camera on Monday. I agreed. They came said they could add a pipe from that drain to the main stack for $950 more. I agreed and they completed the job on Tuesday afternoon. On the plus side my kitchen sink drains again, but there was definitely no clean- up done on their end and I just found a bunch of what looks like crumbly rusted pipe behind my bathroom sink. Will not be using them again.

Highly recommended!! Very good work, and works quickly! Was less than an estimate I got from someone else, and the work was absolutely first rate. No shortcuts by using sharkbite or anything. I try to do my own easy plumbing projects(fixtures and under the sink stuff), but know my limits and Mike will be my go to for future plumbing needs. When I called the number it went to vmail, I texted the number on the message(or I could have left a vmail) so I could attach pictures, and Mari responded almost immediately with their pricing and what times were available. He showed up early and made sure it was done right. I needed my main shutoff valve replaced(in the house), and they worked with the City to arrange the shutoff from outside the house.

Terrible experience. Paid $3k to fix the mainline and they made it worse, far worse. The mainline had pitch back to the house once they were done, they hid the fact they they couldn't get it right and just buried the pipe and said all was well. 9 months later it was backing up again, took them forever to come out and check it out, then they wanted another $4-5K to fix it right. Even after agreeing to this, they never showed up. Communication wasn't terrible, it was non-existent. Wouldn't return calls or emails, just nothing. Stay away.

I mainly called this service to install a new Kraus drop in sink; not a big deal, they quoted $450-700 over the phone with a basic sink install. Then they said $942 for an install with a sink that we already purchased. Just labor!!!

I could change out the shower heads and handles in both bathrooms myself as it’s pretty much screw on and off, but the estimate came back at $1,425 for one bathroom with the valve replacement. Again, all the parts already purchased. The valve was super easy to get to, with the Sheetrock on the other side held on by 1 screw.

The downstairs I did in 15 minutes myself. They wanted $375.

Don’t use this service, my wife was the one that answered the door and they just ripped her off assuming she didn’t know anything about pricing.

I paid $69 for the estimate, they should pay me back for me wasting my time with their bait and switch,
