I had a great experience with TJK plumbing. I originally submitted an online request and they emailed me right away. When the issue became more urgent I called to see if they could come sooner than I had originally planned. They came within 2 hours of my call and fixed it right away. New house, new to St. Paul. Had a leaky water spout on exterior of house. I didn't spend much time looking at it assumed it was frozen pipe problem. Jake's plumber came out assessed situation (5 mins) tightened a nut on top of the water fixture and fixed the problem. CHA CHING $204 service call minimum. OUCH!

Had a leak behind the wall for the kitchen sink drain. Called Ken's and they came out the same day.
They performed the repair quickly and efficiently, at a very fair and reasonable price. Now the sink drain is permanently repaired and will not have any future problems.
The guy who came out was friendly and professional. explained what needed to be done, and how long it would take.
Excellent Job!. I will hire them again if I ever need plumbing work done in the future

My assigned plumber, John, inspects my leaky shower-tub faucet and tells me that I will likely need to remove the entire faucet and replace it and order to do so, drywall will need to be cut-out on the other side of the shower-tub for a grand total of $1600. I tell, John, that all I want is to replace the cartridge with corroded and worn valve seat in the faucet only and to this I am quoted $800 for a new cartridge and a half hour of labor. Having seen another plumber replace the faucet cartridge in 2014, I know it should NOT cost anywhere near $800.The next day, I arrange for a plumber from Norblom Plumbers to drive out and the Norblom plumber replaces the faucet cartridge in less than 15 minutes and for a total charge of $190 for the part, labors, and fuel surcharge.I don't know if this experience with Discount Plumbers was due to ignorance or dishonesty, but when it sounds too outrageous, always get a second opinion.Clearly, manufacturers have designed faucets with a single cartridge containing all parts in order to easily replace all at once, so that removing the entire fixture and drywall, should NOT be necessary.

I highly recommend Adam from TJK Plumbing! Adam came on Saturday and quickly diagnosed our problem and determined the spot on 1st floor bathroom ceiling was likely a faulty shower drain tile and not a leaking pipe in one of the upstairs bathrooms. Rather than incurring extra cost by cutting a hole in the downstairs bathroom ceiling, we agreed to monitor it for now. Adam was professional, knowledgeable and easy to work with!
