GOOD to see a lot of 5 star reviews for their service the very 1st time. This is also how I called them. You will know them more only when something fails which they installed. I am sorry to say that I will not recommend TJK plumbing to any one. I have used their services twice in the last 1.5 years for installing my sump pump and also my backup sump pump. They did a good job with the setup but when the backup sump pump failed again their reply back is I need to go and find another person and they are booked for the next 2 weeks. As you all know backup sump's never run unless and until you have a power failure. I haven't had a single failure in the last 1.5 yrs and now $1500 which is paid on my backup sump is a thrash. It appears like TJK plumbing wants new customers and leave the existing loyal customers like me who called them twice and paid almost $2500 in total for their services. They do a good job but won't come back when something which they install fails.

Quick customer service on the phone and friendly knowledgeable in-home service. Will use them again for other issues. This one specifically was for an Aprilaire humidifier.

Honesty and integrity

Last Thursday evening, I saw black mold and water bubbles on the dining room ceiling! Looking for a Longfellow-local plumber, I found ENP. They picked right away, and John came out early this week, located the source of the leak, and cleaned up the mess. He was personable, professional, and considerate. Two days later, he returned with a coworker to replace the burst lead pipes and remove the old toilet, replacing it with a low-flow toilet that was better seated in the bathroom. The dining room floor and bathroom are now cleaner than they've ever been, and I have names for two different contractors who can sheet-rock the ceiling. The final price was lower than I expected, too. Wow! Happy? YOU BET!

Brian was great in my home. He got the job done quickly and made sure to let me know what was going on and other options to prevent this problem from happening again.

I had Norblom out to replace an old water heater that had started leaking the day before. They were on time, professional, and charged exactly what had been quoted over email. The quote itself was significantly higher than I have seen from other companies ($1958.99 for an incredibly basic water heater), but I went with it because it’s December and not the time for me or tenants to be without hot water.

The only complaint I had with the service itself is a painted door that was scratched in the process of moving the old water heater up the stairs. They had to work a miracle to fit the 75 gallon water heater up the stairs, so a scratch is understandable, but for the price of service I would have expected an acknowledgement and apology. All in all, though, they did their job and I’m grateful to have hot water again.

We had a cracked pipe in our foundation. Everyone from Bonfe who worked on the project was kind and professional, starting with Tim who diagnosed the drain line issue, James who gave the bid and worked the project, Rick, Keith, and Mark who completed the work.

They were very professional and very knowledgable about the HVAC
system. Both Josh and Matthew impressed us with their knowledge
especially Matt, he is a perfectionist. He doesn't do anything halfway, he takes pride in his work.

We hired Steve to replace the piping under our kitchen sink and install a garbage disposal. He was great to work with! The work was done quickly and we got a fair price. I would highly recommend.

Steinkraus Plumbing - specifically the owner, Jason, is extremely unprofessional. He has repeatedly ignored my calls when calling to collect payment for materials we supplied his company for a project they were working on. I left well over 10 messages for him with the staff that answers the phone and they assured me they were passing along the messages and they weren’t sure why he wasn’t returning my calls. He finally returned my call months later and said he would pay. Months go by and still no payment. Eventually I got ahold of Jason directly again and he said since he “closed out that project on his end, he cannot pay us...” - in what world does that excuse a business from paying another business for their product that they received? You would think as an owner of a small business himself he would understand the importance of every sale/purchase and understand that if you order and receive product, you are responsible to pay for it. I would not do business with this company as they have proven (read other reviews) that they are not a trustworthy company. Very sad that he puts his employees in the position of taking the heat for his poor business practices.

I experienced same day professional service for a reasonable price.

I made of the HUGE mistake of dumping a big batch of chicken soup down my garbage disposal on a Saturday afternoon. As soon I I did this I knew there was a problem. I tried to handle the clog myself, but could get the snake that I had deep enough, so knew it was time to call in the professionals. I search the Internet for a plumbing company who could come out and take care of the issue over the weekend without ASTRONOMICAL emergency fees. This is when I found Discount Plumbers. They advertised clearing the drain for $94 as well as a $75 service charge. I was a little apprehensive on what the additional fine print might be, but thought I’d give them a call. I reached out at 9:30 on a Saturday night and received a call on Sunday morning from William that he had one more appointment available for Sunday afternoon. I confirmed the cost and booked the appointment. Unfortunately, I received a call around 12:30 stating that they had an emergency come up and kindly asked if they could reschedule for Monday morning. I told them I understand emergencies and that wouldn’t be a problem.Monday morning I received a call from Sage stating that he would be here by 8:20. He was right on time. We review the issue with the clogged drain and reviewed the pricing. He did indicate that if it took longer than an hour, he would need to charge an hourly rate of around $90 (can’t remember the exact amount). Sage did state that it should only take him about 45 minutes.Off he went to take care of the mistake I will never make again. 30-35 minutes later he was done snaking the clog, put the plumbing back together and the water was draining perfectly!Sage was very professional, bright and super friendly!I would recommend Discount Plumbing to anyone! They were FANTASTIC to work with!

The purpose of the appointment was to install a new gas range. However, i was told that there was not enough time and it would need to be done the next day. Today's appointment was the second one since the first was cancelled and rescheduled. Now there is a 3rd appointment to finally get the new stove hooked up after a week.
