Best Line Replacement in Minneapolis MN

I called to get a quote of ballpark figure to remove/install 2 toilets. I was told they don't give quotes but will charge me $59.50 to come and look. While they would put that towards the bill, but what if they're quote is high like some of their reviews show. I find it hard to believe they can't give a ballpark figure on something that should be routine for a plumber. I feel like them coming out and charging $59.50 for something that would take 10 minutes is a way to extort business! I hung up on them!

Great service. Came out promptly and was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely reccomend them.

Justin did a fantastic job. I summarized my problem and emailed it to Erik. Erik was able to give a ball park estimate and it was a good price. The job came in a little over the estimate, but Justin did much more than I expected. And here's the kicker. The price came in at less than one third of what a name-brand plumbing outfit wanted!

Really good experience. Deven showed up on time, called me on his way, wore booties while in the house to keep the dirt down, and was incredibly professional in my house. He walked me through the entire process and left me his personal phone number to call back with any questions. If I have additional work to do I will definitely be using this company.

I hired Wald and Sons in July 2023 to replace my bathroom vanity. They're a SCAM company that will do anything to overcharge, and very disrespectful of the customer's time. Long story short, the plumber took their sweet time to perform the service, way longer than they should have based on other professional estimates; made me wait downstairs for them for 25 minutes; made me carry items around; and admitted to making a mistake overcharging me after I reached out tot the company. However, the amount paid for the service is APPALLING. If you consider them, which you shouldn't, ask them to give you an estimate of how long the work will take before they start working, as they are in the business of DECEIVING their customers.

Below I will detail my full experience with them:

The plumber, Ben, told me they would be at my place in 5 minutes. This was around 10:30 am. When they called 10 minutes later, they were at the wrong address. I had to wait another 15 minutes downstairs. I made sure to provide a dolly for the plumber.

Ben started working at 11:00am. At 12:00pm, they decided to take a lunch break, and came back at 12:45 pm. After being back, Ben worked until 2:45 pm. I helped carrying things inside my unit, and disposed of the old vanity myself.

At the end, Ben served me with a $808 bill for their work. $808!!! For a vanity replacement. Basically 3 times the value of the new vanity, which cost around $250. I paid the plumber. After having a look at the invoice via email, I realized they charged me for 4 hours of work.

I reached out to the company the next day and told them I had a question regarding my invoice. The company told me they had not received the invoice yet. I asked them to give me a call back once they do and did not tell them what the issue was yet. Half an hour later, they called and told me that Ben had realized they had made a mistake, and had overcharged me by 30 mins. Interesting that they only realized that after I reached out! However, I was still being charged for 3.5 hours of work. I told them that I can only account for 3 hours of work. The company rep told me there's nothing they can do, and that they will have to reach out to their manager. I said ok.

A week later, the manager called. Their tone was rude from the get go. I explained the situation and told them that Ben only worked for 3 hours and that is what I should be paying for. During the week, I also made sure to get some estimates from other professionals and I was told that the type of work Ben did should NOT have taken longer than 2 hours. I told this to the manager. I also told them that I had to wait for Ben as well as helping him with his job. The answer to that was that had I not helped, someone else would have had to come and help and I would have to pay more: something that was not conveyed to me when I hired their services. I decided to unilaterally end the call with them as things weren't going anywhere, and they were happy to keep wasting my time. What was supposed to be a 2 hour service, was turning into a marathon of wasting my time. Not surprised, as the company is clearly in the business of deceiving customers and wasting their time. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

Writing this review was also a time loss. However, I really hope it can keep others from having their money ripped off.

My experience with Bonfe was great. I called and talked to Sharon G who listened to my questions and set me up with an appointment the next day. I needed an expert opinion on the state of my water softener. The technician Bennett Brown was professional and knowledgeable about water quality and explained to me all the options. I decided to have a new one installed, and he was able to do that right then and there. I decided to sign up for their service plan and Bennett is assigned to be my technician going forward. I am really glad I called Bonfe!

I did a job for Erickson Plumbing (Zack Erickson) .Zack called to do a welding job for him on a water line in St Paul. I told Zack I needed how close I could get my truck to the job as I need to be within 150' to reach with my leads.Zack said I reach it from side door. When I got to job. There was no way I could reach it from side door no park zone,& they had cast iron fittings to weld in water line (heating line ,not water line).Any body that knows any about commercial plumbing knows you can weld cast iron fittings in steel pipe. But I had to argue with their plumber to get me the right steel fittings to do the

According to the reviews, excellent service. I would have loved to find out first hand but the person answering the phone was extremely unhelpful and condescending.

Service Star Plumbing (Ben) was able to send a technician out within a couple hours of initially calling them, which I appreciated. He assessed the problem & even had the materials to replace the laundry tub trap, which he did within an hour - & confirmed that he did NOT have to replace the whole laundry tub - YEA! (Other company was going to replace the tub without even looking at it.) The cost was reasonable & even got a senior discount! So grateful & happy that this job was completed so quickly & efficiently! And Ben was so very polite & courteous - thank you, Ben! You made my day!

Very responsive company! I called on Tuesday and had options within the same week to get my faucet replaced. Kyle W was awesome! He called prior to arrival, arrived right when my scheduled time window was starting (my window was 2-6pm and he showed up right at 2pm!), he explained the process, gave a quote and was able to complete the job quickly - and he cleaned everything up after! I will definitely be using Discount Plumbing again in the future!!

Pablo and Edison are amazing! They were able to help us out with our issue incredibly fast and even took the time to explain some plumbing advice to us. Can't recommend them enough!

Did excellent. Explained every step before he did it. Nice personality. Very professional.

JD did an excellent job. I guess I'm not 100% sure if JD or Chris was my plumber but whoever he was was professional fast and friendly. You can tell these guys are straightforward and fair with pricing. I will be using JD plumbing for all future needs.

Company was good. Kept me informed leading up to Joey's arrival. Joey was very knowledgeable and informative. Will continue to use Genz Ryan for service.
