Best Install Water Softener in Minneapolis MN

We called TJK for a leak in our water softener. They sent a plumber out to take a look, and he did a great job of explaining our options. We ended up purchasing a new water softener due to the age of our existing water softener and the issues we were experiencing. I appreciated David's attention to details and how he walked us through what we would expect with the new water softener. We shopped around and found that TJK had a really competitive price point compared to other local plumbers,. TJK was timely and make quick work of switching out the water softeners. We also found that one of our drains was clogged the night before they came out to replace the softener, and they quickly took care of that issue for us as well without any hassle.

MN Plumbing isn't what it used to be. High pressure sales tactics to make money. And was told half truths to scare me in to purchasing unnecessary service. Done with them!

Great experience. Stu arrived on time and was fair and honest when dealing with my water heater issue. It's not often you find a plumber who's easy on the eyes and on the pocketbook.

We’ve used Eric Nelson Plumbing for all of our plumbing work since we moved to Minneapolis 7 years ago. Their work has been uniformly great. This time we had the remaining galvanized pipe replaced. Jaron & Nick straightened and simplified what had been a mess of pipes. We appreciate the attention to detail they gave to this project. Highly recommend ENP!

I was replacing an old dishwasher and ended up unexpectedly needing to swap out a valve and some supply hoses. A neighbor recommended Weld and Sons for their quality work. David showed up the same day and was very professional. He did high quality work, and with the remaining time on the service call he talked with us about some future projects we are considering and made some excellent cost saving recommendations. We will definitely be going with them in the future.

Had them out a year ago for a malfunctioning AC. Didn't know much about it. A couple guys from Erickson stopped by and said we needed to replace the AC unit for a cost upwards of 8k. Thought that was fishy. Asked a second opinion from a different contractor and was quoted $400-600 for malfunctioning vents. Erickson also did a poor job of work on repairing leaky faucet, one job needed a second repair a year later from a different contractor. Shop around and don't take their first offer. I was offered a bill credit for some mistakes they made, rather just wash my hands completely of this company. Warned friends and neighbors.

John was great. Fixed my hot water pressure issue, gave me multiple options with estimates for each. He walked me through how each differed and what the advantages of each were. Highly recommended.

Excellent service and reasonable pricing. I will definitely be using John in the future. He was able to come out the same day I called and fixed my plumbing issue on the spot.

This place also goes by the name Ken's Sewer Services.
Right off the bat when talking to the scheduler/operator I had a feeling this place was not at all professional. When the tech arrived with tools in a bucket I didn't feel any better.

And then the time came for the fix...
The tech didn't have a handle puller to pull my shower faucet handle off. I stupidly agreed to pay a visit fee of $80 on the weekend. I regretted it right away because the tech had no shot to fix the problem, not having the tool to get past step one.

Don't go with this place. Absolutely no reason to pick them over an Eric Nelson Plumbing or Athena or Burnomatic or Uptown Plumbing.

Didn't get the refund I was after either,
A week later (Saturday) I called them to ask for some sort of refund. The person on the other end said it was busy that Easter weekend and told me they'd look into it and call me back on Tuesday. It's now the following Monday and I never got a call. Called them and ranted as politely as I could. He offered me 10% off my next plumbing job with them. Ha.

Eric did a great job and also gave us a quote on our hot water heater.

Northern Plumbing and Softening did an excellent job of updating all of my plumbing, both repairs and replacements. Chuck is a master plumber with years of experience in the business. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional, and is a kind and gentle person who listens and explains all that he does. He is quick to respond to questions before, during and after installation. His prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend Chuck for all of your plumbing needs!

Called Hovde Plumbing and they were able to come out same day and fix all my issues. Everyone I spoke to and interacted with at the company was professional, knowledgeable and respectful. I would highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you may have.

Jake was very knowledgeable, friendly, on-time and repaired the drain clog quickly and very well! A+. He seemed genuinely interested and concerned about fixing the issue and doing a great job. It was also easy to get an appointment quickly. The best part is we can use the washing machine again without flooding the room.

Can't recommend this company and its plumbers enough! Our neighbors used them with great service and then we did. Replaced water heater in under 2 hours, the longest part was him having to wait for our old one to drain. Chris was our plumber and very personable, competent, and all-around good guy! Price was fair, comparable to Home Depot. Response time was same day for us, which I was VERY pleasantly surprised! They will be our first call if we ever need a plumber again!

I had my car radiator break near here I went in to find tape or anything to get me home and the amazing people working in here were the biggest help I could have asked for. They walked to where my car was broken down helped find out what went wrong then grabbed parts and tools from inside and fixed it. They only let me pay for the parts needed even when I offered cash for the labor, I absolutely would not have been able to fix it myself saved me an expensive tow truck or risk damaging my car further. Can't thank them enough, would buy all my plumbing and hardware goods from here. Highly Recommend.
