Standard Heating & Cooling rescued me today. My air conditioning failed me on Wednesday and they fit me in to the schedule promptly during a hot, air conditioner stressed week. Had them down for 5 stars until the inspection process which just isn’t very good. We had a great install crew who did a fantastic job. Had a furnace, a/c, water heater, and garage heater installed which I’m very happy with. Wasn’t told I was required to schedule and be there for inspections and thus waited about a month before finally calling Pronto and asking what was going on with inspections. Finally scheduled them and MN state inspector guy doesn’t even show up. Initially very happy but left with bad taste in mouth. They do good work though. 3.5 stars out of 5 because of poor inspection process and communication.

I mainly called this service to install a new Kraus drop in sink; not a big deal, they quoted $450-700 over the phone with a basic sink install. Then they said $942 for an install with a sink that we already purchased. Just labor!!!

I could change out the shower heads and handles in both bathrooms myself as it’s pretty much screw on and off, but the estimate came back at $1,425 for one bathroom with the valve replacement. Again, all the parts already purchased. The valve was super easy to get to, with the Sheetrock on the other side held on by 1 screw.

The downstairs I did in 15 minutes myself. They wanted $375.

Don’t use this service, my wife was the one that answered the door and they just ripped her off assuming she didn’t know anything about pricing.

I paid $69 for the estimate, they should pay me back for me wasting my time with their bait and switch,
