We had our tank water heater and A/C unit replaced at the same time as they were both about 20 years old. These guys were awesome, honestly. They got the A/C unit replaced the day we agreed to go with them, and the water heater replaced with a much nicer tankless one four days later, including a long weekend. I will say they weren’t cheap, but you know what? You get what you pay for. The work was done well, done right, and done quickly. Highly recommended.

The worst experience of any service in my entire life. I was pleased with the first tech who came out to figure out what was wrong with our system. But once I got through the sales process and paid for our entire new AC, furnace and pump, Genz Ryan dropped the ball. What should’ve been a two appointment issue has been six different visits of issues. Starting off with the fact that I was told specific appointment times via email in writing and altered child car and my work schedule around those times I was told they’d come. They were late every single visit except two out of the six. When I brought this up to Loren, the tech manager, he made excuses for it and didn’t take ownership. On install day, they told us the tech that first looked at our old system and figured out what we all needed missed that we needed a new pump installed and that was of course extra cost we didn’t know up front. Not to mention the tech had to drive 40 minutes one way to go pick it up and come back another 40 minutes. The tech said he normally would’ve been done between 2-3pm but he wasn’t don’t until 7:30pm. When techs came to clean out our air ducts the next day, they never checked to make sure the cooling system was working correctly again before leaving. We came home to a hot house and called trying to get someone to come fix the problem they should’ve caught before leaving and were told no one could come out till the next morning. We just replaced the entire system and spent a ton of money with this company, I expected better customer service than that. When the tech came out the next day and fixed that issue, again, came home to more issues. The pump they just installed wasn’t working and there was tons of water on the floor in our utility room. We had rugs in there and they are all ruined and stained from the water. So again, called to have them come back out and fix the issue. I’ve now been trying to get ahold of a customer service manager to voice my frustrations and frankly, I do not feel confident in our system or this company that it won’t break again soon. I expect a lot better customer service when you’re spending $14k on something and worry about what kind of company this is to have this many issues on what should’ve been a normal AC/furnace replacement. Absolutely do not use this company, I wish I could start all over again and never contact them because it’s been a nightmare and it seems like no one cares to even hear my experience and try to make it right.

I reached out to MSP Plumbing, Heating & Air to check out an issue I had with my furnace. The tech was polite and very knowledgeable. He explained everything that he was doing and, ultimately, I needed to replace my furnace. The existing unit was 19 yrs. old and the repair would have been very costly. He arranged for someone to come to my home to discuss my options. Nick B. came the same day. He, too, is very polite and extremely knowledgeable. I got my new furnace today. The techs arrived on time and, same as above, extremely knowledgeable and polite. All the guys were also very nice to my dog. They were very gracious when I brought Thor to meet them. They did a GREAT job with the installation and additional duct work. I would highly recommend MSP to anyone. Thanks for the hard work!

First, I've used and been very happy with Janecky in the past, but had a rather poor experience this past time, notably with the customer service rep in particular.
I had scheduled some work today ten business days prior as their plumbers were booked. I went out of my way to explain the work to be done and was given a three hour window; inconvenient for me but the nature of the business.
An hour and a half in, I called to inquire. I was told the plumber had left me messages on our home phone - mea culpa as I was outside working on other projects and not sitting by the phone ( it was really only one message that asked if I could call him with no pertinent information on timeline)
The rep told me that they would, in fact, be 2.5 hours late. After some consideration, I said I would still have them do the work but wanted to share my disappointment, mainly because I don't believe this would be a job that took less than 30 minutes. The rep took the opportunity to assert that she was correct and my opinion was of no concern to her. I take that as a suggestion to find a different plumber.

I have had very bad experiences with this company. During the winter, I was quoted about $22K for a new boiler and water heater. I took a second opinion and had both installed by another company for under $12K. Today, I had a repair person give me an estimate for A/C repair. I was told that the cost of repair would start at about $5K but could easily increase to around $10K and might even cost $20K if the entire system needed to be replaced. The technician became angry and rude when I told him that I would need to get a second opinion and said that he would have my name removed from the Dean's Club Membership, a service for which I had paid $100! Below is what the technician wrote in the estimate: The customer is getting a second opinion. The customer got a second opinion last time we were out, and went with another company for his boiler replacement. I did ask the customer that if he doesn’t trust our diagnostics, and is always going to get a second opinion, then what is the reason he has us come out. He did not like this question, and got very upset. I let him know that if he doesn’t trust our diagnostics, and is going to just use other companies, then maybe we aren’t the right company for him.

Steinkraus Plumbing - specifically the owner, Jason, is extremely unprofessional. He has repeatedly ignored my calls when calling to collect payment for materials we supplied his company for a project they were working on. I left well over 10 messages for him with the staff that answers the phone and they assured me they were passing along the messages and they weren’t sure why he wasn’t returning my calls. He finally returned my call months later and said he would pay. Months go by and still no payment. Eventually I got ahold of Jason directly again and he said since he “closed out that project on his end, he cannot pay us...” - in what world does that excuse a business from paying another business for their product that they received? You would think as an owner of a small business himself he would understand the importance of every sale/purchase and understand that if you order and receive product, you are responsible to pay for it. I would not do business with this company as they have proven (read other reviews) that they are not a trustworthy company. Very sad that he puts his employees in the position of taking the heat for his poor business practices.

I had a wonderful experience with Kintex. I went through my warranty company America Home Shield Warranty. I have been having issues with my kitchen sink faucet for over 2 months. AHS sent out another plumber company first. He could not fix the the faucet and totally misdiagnosed the issue. Finally after waiting on AHS and the back and forth for 2 month, AHS sent Kintex. Within a few days, Ike with Kintex came out, diagnosed the issue in 3 mins and fixed my sink in 5 mins. Finally someone who knows what he is doing with experience. Thank you Kintex!
