We had a leaky valve in our toilet and I found Norblom Plumbing from the good reviews on Nextdoor. I called in the morning, the plumber was on site the same day, and it was all fixed 30 minutes later! They have a very helpful texting system to keep you updated about your appointment which I found really convenient. They offer fair and transparent pricing! I'm going to keep them on hand for any future plumbing needs!

Joe was amazing! After having another company out who told me that they could not snake my mainline and they were going to have to replace EVERYTHING at a cost of $15000.00, Joe came out and cleaned it out perfectly! Joe showed me the camera after he was done and the roots were COMPLETLEY cleared! I can't rave enough about this company! I feel like the other company was trying to totally take advantage of my being a girl and not knowing anything about plumbing, it’s good to know there are still honest and good people out there! Service tech discovered the issue is simply needing the garbage disposal to be replaced. We’re set up to have that fixed and since there was no clog or other drain issue, we were not charged. Appreciate the thorough review and professionalism! Will continue to use Roto-Rooter for our plumbing needs!

Christmas Day our kitchen sink clogged after dinner. All the dishes were piled up on the kitchen so I went online to see if I could get an appt. I was hopeful we would get someone to come the next day. I received an email from Roto-Rooter that my time slot was 9:00 - 11:00 am the next day. I was happy I was in the queue. The next day arrived and I received multiple courtesy calls letting me know that things were very busy and that they will call to update us on the technician probably after lunch. I was now worried that we were not going to have a technician come out that day. Roto-Rooter continued to update us. About 3:00 pm a technician came and quickly set up his machine. He carefully fed the lead into the pipe and about 15 ft in the machine hit the clog and continued to grind away for he said about 10 inches. We went downstairs to feel where the lead was and it was already down to the main discharge pipe about 25 feet from the kitchen. He cleaned and described the pricing policy in more detail and the guarantee. I thought the service was exceptional!!!

Called for nonemergent plumbing needs. Understand the staffing shortage everywhere. We were given 40 minute notice that they could come in the middle of the workday, without having given any prior mention of which day they might be able to come. When asked if it would be possible to get a day, at least, to expect them, was told they'll do the best they can do. When asked about getting a day, even if it was in a week, was told again they'd do their best. Then gave me a 3 day window when they MIGHT be available, and would only be able to give 30 minute notice.
They are less than an ideal place to go if you don't work from home or don't sit at home waiting around with nothing else to do.

I have worked with countless contractors over the years, and this is the worst experience I have ever had. My husband and I called and scheduled a specific service, was quoted an amount of $438 and gave my credit card to pay for: main line maintenance cleaning and a camera inspection following it. I was acting as a realtor to sell my clients home, and my husband as their general contractor. We needed to determine that the line to the street didnt have a major blockage, since a scope of the line had been done in the home inspection and showed something blocking it. I explained all this on the phone. When they arrived they started a camera inspection - the wrong service right off the bat. The homeowner was there and explained they had to clear the line before scoping it as scope had already been done. They told the homeowner they had to do a hydro jet cleaning and told him he had to sign for work to continue. He openly told him he didnt know what that meant but said ok if it was the cleaning I had scheduled (I had agreed to cover the cost to get the sale to go through.) They never explained to him this was a completely different and extremely expensive service that was not needed to ensure there wasn't a blockage. Gopher sewer added on and performed this additional service that cost over $900 on top of the $438. I was not contacted to authorize or discuss any additional charges, and then they billed me for more than 3 times the amount I agreed to- for a total of $1358. I attempted to resolve this in an amicable way via text, phone call (was yelled at and hung up on by owner Pedro) and email. The tech then called me and was very nice and calm on the phone and said he'd work on a deeper discount. I never heard back from them after that. I kept attempting to contact their office with no reply. They then contacted an attorney to try collect their debt and are threatening me with a defamation lawsuit for posting negative reviews. Both the homeowner and I are very bothered by this behavior, and they are still demanding payment. It sounds like the owner has a history of aggressive and volatile behavior. I would not work with them, or get your work scope agreement in writing so they can't attempt to charge you extra.
