Best All Plumbing Service in Minneapolis MN

Disappointed. I needed a new water heater. They would not give any sort of ballpark on expected cost for the installation over the phone. I had to pay for them to send a guy to give me an estimate. I felt he was more of a sales guy than anything. They quoted three levels of installation in good-better-best tiers. Their cheapest water heater package was 20% more than the other company I had gotten a quote from and their top tier that they suggested was around two times the cost. My main take away was make sure you quote multiple companies.

I chose Jake the Plumber simply because I saw one of their vans at our neighbor's house a couple weeks before. I believe our plumber's name was Rick. He was incredibly professional and personable. We had a drippy old spigot and the shut off valve to the outside water was also dripping in my basement. He explained to me exactly what he was going to do, discussed potential issues that may come up in the process, and in the end, delivered on his promises in a very timely manner. His work was super clean, my problem was solved, and I was better educated by the time he left. Also, the new spigot is much better than the one I had before. I would hire them again without hesitation!!

I'm very happy with Erik Nelson Plumbing. I'm in a 1920s age building and I found that the steel sink vent pipe had come apart with a 1 gap letting sewer gas into my kitchen. The pipe was in poor shape almost up to the roof. They replaced the pipe and all the connections. They arrived on time. They gave an estimate which was basically what it ended up costing. They were clean and neat. I think that these guys are less expensive and more polite than the big name plumbers. I'd use them again.

Really good experience. Deven showed up on time, called me on his way, wore booties while in the house to keep the dirt down, and was incredibly professional in my house. He walked me through the entire process and left me his personal phone number to call back with any questions. If I have additional work to do I will definitely be using this company.

Tim came out to take a video of my pipe, and Jeffrey cleaned it out. They did a great job, and made what was a bad situation much better. I greatly appreciated their help, their work, and their professionalism.

They were extremely prompt in our time of need, were able to answer all of our questions and work towards a solution quickly and efficiently.

Had a loose toilet and John did a great job showing me the parts and that they were in good shape as he opened things up. Did a great job, great attention to detail and everything works great. I also got to see the floor underneath and see that there was no water damage.

We had to get our water heater replaced recently and I called about six other plumbers first. Once I called and spoke with Loren, I knew I was in good hands and he was able to answer my questions knowledgeably and professionally. Jerry arrived later that week and was by far the nicest, most courteous and by far the most professional plumber I have met. Jerry did a full remove and replace in less that 2 hours. 2017 I did Phase I of a big renovation and spent 19K with Steinkraus and when I got the bill I asked for back up documentation to support the invoice and was given the run around and an answer well we aren't the cheapest plumbers and we need to cover overhead. When we started Phase II we really like the plumber and thought let's give them a second try and asked for another person to be our contact. They sent the owner Merle and he did a bid which we signed but stated we were concerned that some of Phase III might be included but were told don't worry we will be fair and take care of you. When I got the 17K bill I had kept track of all the hours. I am about 5K in the dark how they came up with the total and they refuse to itemize the invoice. My advise is if you work with them it is time and materials and you ask for documentation. The time spent on site for Ryan was a total of 67 x $135.00 = $9045.00 plus $1000.00 Material plus fixtures $2440.00 =$12, 485.00. Even if you added on a 20% management fee it still would be below the $17,210.00 invoice I received. So basically they charged me $205.00 an hour? I just wish they felt the need to walk me through all the charges but they have no interest. The good news we think our plumber was great just not the front office. The bad news is we have Phase III and can't use them. 5 Stars for plumbing!
