After having trouble dealing with the warranty on my current water heater, I called Robert's back. They were able to help me with the warranty and are coming back to replace my water heater tomorrow morning! It's my Christmas Miracle! :-)

We called Mark's when we were having drain/grease trap issues at our commercial kitchen. The technician who came out (also named Mark) was right on time and extremely professional. Honestly they are lucky to have someone who takes their job as seriously as he does. He fixed our problem, gave us tips on how to avoid future issues, and did a thorough cleanup job before leaving. Their pricing is very reasonable and they are always the first place we call for plumbing issues

Chris S was our service pro, and did a great job. We had a problem with a pressure pump that led the furnace to be unable to run the diagnostics it does before each furnace firing. We could hear what sounded like the furnace trying to start, like a faintly revving engine, but then it would die down. It would actually work once in a while, but usually didn't. We of course did not know all the details until after Chris S arrived, listened to our statements, asked some questions, and checked out the furnace.We were impressed by the relatively short amount of time he was here, which included diagnosis, inspection, replacement of a part and other work. He was very good at explaining the situation, asking for our decision as to what to do, and doing over what he did afterwards.Chris S was excellent, and we were very happy with the job he did. He was very polite and knowledgeable, and we had confidence in him and his work.

Excellent Service. Sewer clogged near the main (you could wash your hands but not do laundry). They came out 1st thing in the morning and were fast, professional, and very helpful. They even went beyond and added a backwash prevention in the basement floor drain to help prevent future issues. I highly recommend them.

I have no complaints so far about the sewer/drain work that Roto-Rooter did under the sidewalk where our house's line connects with the city's line. Only time will tell if any issues with that work will be found, but there's no reason to believe there should be any. However, they had a landscaper come out and grade the dirt and put grass seed down in the areas that were disrupted in the dig. We have prairie plants planted on both sides of the sidewalk, and clearly no grass. It shows either a lack of perception, thoughtfulness, or conscientiousness in that they either didn't notice, didn't think about it, and/or didn't bother to ask us whether we wanted grass seed put down. The same goes for the landscaper who went ahead and did the work and never checked in with us the home owners. That lack of customer service is concerning and makes me wonder about the work underground that we can't see.

I was really impressed with the quality of service I received from MPFP. Soon after moving into a new (old ,updated) house, we experienced a serious leak in the basement. I called MPFP, and they came out that same day to check it out. The next day a technician , Jim, came and found the origin of the leak coming from the upstairs bathroom. He was very knowledgeable, professional and efficient while repairing the leak. He also reconnected a newly installed refrigerator hook up for the water and ice maker that had been installed incorrectly by the crew that delivered the appliance weeks before. We had been waiting for them to come back to remedy the situation, but they never showed up! He took great care moving the refrigerator back so as to not scratch the wood floors (already scratched by the crew that delivered the refrigerator in the first place!) I can't say enough good things about the service we received. We are considering installing a water softener in the near future, and we will definitely go through Monona Plumbing and Fire Protection! We started having problems on a Saturday night and I made I don't know how many phone calls before we found someone willing to come out. D & D saved the day for us! They arrived quickly, provided way above and beyond the service and information we expected for the price, and have saved us money down the road. Highly, highly recommend.
