Friday night our basement sump pump and kitchen sink stopped cooperating. Husband bailed rising sink water all night. He called another local plumber who he knows through a business referral group. No call back. We called Griffin, call back in 15 minutes and a plumber was here within the hour. Did I mention I’m having 14 people for dinner tonight? And family tomorrow for Easter dinner? Eric worked on the bathroom in our basement renovation. Although we had high hopes initially, over time we have had issues with the quality of the work performed. Within a year we had a leak from the supply line to the shower which caused drywall damage. Eric came out to correct this but never returned to replace the shower arm with a matching piece or repair the drywall. We have tried to reach him multiple times and have not heard back from him in several months. Our drywall is still torn apart although he did repair the leak.

Best plumbers in the area! We are using this plumbing company's services for 5 years now. They take regular care of our plumbing system at a nice price. We have never had a plumbing problem since they do the maintenance! Highly-recommended!

Blackburn & Davis are rip off artists that take advantage of elderly property owners and give their customers nothing but the run around.
They installed a VERY loud switch in my bedroom and WILL NOT come back to fix it. I managed to talk to the owner Bob once and he was very short and snippy with me and said he was right on top of it and would call me the minute [he] had any news on finding a new switch to install. I have called their office almost every day since for over a week and left messages for the OWNER Bob to call me back and he refuses to call me. He told my landlord the work was all done so she would pay him after he told me they were going to come back and fix it. Every time I call he is out of the office and the secretary doesn't know why he hasn't called [me] yet, she left all the messages right on his desk.

I called PlumbRight, Tom Drexler, and Mr Rooter for an estimate...and PlumbRight is the only one I will do business with after their consultation. The service man was polite and professional. Of the 3, he is the only one that didn't just guess at what the problem could be. He took the time to inspect the problem (which was a clogged exterior drain) during the estimate, by running a wet/dry vac to see what debris might be trapped. He then poured water back into the drain to see how quickly it would back up. Whatever he did actually fixed the problem and everything drains properly now. He wrote it up as an estimate and gave his suggestion of work needing to be done to prevent it from happening again. The other companies wanted to charge me from $99 to 200 just to try with no guarantees of success.
