After recognizing that I needed professional help with a blockage in my kitchen sink, I contacted Roto-Rooter and despite my disbelief - they arrived 2 hours later (as promised) and proceeded to fix the issue while educating me on precisely what they were doing and why exactly they were doing it. Michael and David (the 2 technicians) were polite, communicative and patient. They completed the project in good spirits and due to their professionalism I would gladly recommend Roto-Rooter to anyone who might need their services. 5 stars, no question!

Valencia’s Plumbing was amazingly professional. They were able to take my emergency request and schedule an early appointment the following day. I particularly enjoyed the fact that they were bilingual and were able to cater to my elderly Spanish-only- speaking parents. They were very punctual( arrived before our scheduled appointment time) and were able to quickly assess the situation and fix multiple problems expeditiously. The price estimate was honest and fairly priced. I am very impressed with their work ethic that I will be recommending them to all my family and friends. I will be contacting them again in the future if any other problems arise.

About a week ago I began to smell what seemed to be natural gas in my backyard. I found Fords plumbing on Google and set up an appointment with them. They came out the same day. Let me say this, I'm big on customer service and Fords is top notch. From Sarah on the phone to Riley's professionalism and understanding of our situation and stress level. If I could give their plumbers 6 stars I would. Jorge and Milton where awesome. My wife is germophobe and has an issue with people coming in and out of our house. Both Jorge and Milton did a great job of being understanding but they also did their best to keep their voices down while they worked under our house (digging there way under due to a 10in crawlspace) due to her working from home.
There price was very reasonable. I had 3 other companies come out and they gave us the best price for the amount of work needed. Can't recommend them enough. Thank you guys.

I pray that we never have another plumbing problem, but if we do, I'm calling Rocket Plumbing. Chris came out quickly on an emergency sewage backup in the guest bathroom in April. He did a thorough and efficient job, explained what the issues were, and advised that our landlords should get the carpet steam cleaned.

7 months later, we had another backup from the washing machine drain. The landlord called, and Brian must have been concerned given how upset the landlord was, and pulled Chris off another job to come out and fix the situation immediately.

Chris cleared the blockage, used booties to avoid getting the carpet dirty, and was sympathetic to the fact that our landlord first tries to blame us (the tenants) for when stuff breaks at their unit, even though the place is over 12 years old and hasn't had plumbing maintenance done once. (We have the place cleaned weekly and also are careful to collect hair, Kleenex and compost material to throw out in the garbage instead of down sinks or toilets... I mean, we've lived in houses built in the 1920s in the Northeast, where pipes are riddled with tree roots, so we KNOW not to throw things down drains/toilets!)

I give Chris a ton of credit because I think he may have an injury or physical handicap, but he was easily able to maneuver the washer/dryer units and get his heavy snake equipment up and down the stairs. (I have very little upper body strength, so am pretty much worthless when it comes to lifting heavy equipment.)

This is a 5-star operation.

I will be recommending them to anyone who has a plumbing problem. As a former homeowner, I've worked with plenty of contractors before, but these guys tell it like it is, give you a fair quote, show up on time, and get the work done. And they didn't even ask for a positive review, which I thought was classy as well. Thank you, Chris and Brian!!

Would not recommend this service at all. Poor job quality (happy to share pics and detail) and what's worst, is really taken advantage of on the pricing. Was quoted one thing, then bait and switch. When called on it, was essentially threatened that proprietor would bang on my door until he got his money. Had no issue paying except that I was being gouged. Happy to go into detail and share how and why. Truly unfortunate as there are many people in my area relocating to homes in the neighborhood and was hoping to be able to recommend them, but wish I did more research in this case.

We had needed a plumber so when we went online we found s plumber here. We had got some pricing over the phone and they had given us some crazy prices for some work. They seemed highly overpriced and after asking around found much better offers. The point is do your homeowner homework first before hiring an overpriced plumber

Richards Rooter and Plumbing has great reviews but my experience was disappointing. First, it was $250 to even come to our apartment building (which would then be applied towards the repair.) Then it was $750 (so an additional $500) to cut open the wall and find the leak, even though I correctly identified where the hot water pipe was leaking based on feeling a warm spot on the wall.

Richard suggested a temporary clamp for another $500 (though he said it’d be free if it didn’t work) and coming back to fix it the next day (it was 2:30pm). I asked if it could just be fixed today and had to leave for an appointment and he set about cutting open more of the wall to see the extent of the corrosion. By the time I came back at 4:30pm, he’d put on the temporary clamp which didn’t fully stop the leak (still requesting $500 for it) and said he could fix it at 9am for $2000 with the clamp $500 going towards it (so $1500 more).

I felt like the charges were really high, especially since water was still leaking into the units below. The way Richard seemed more focused on getting paid than actually fixing the leak made me feel like he was taking advantage of the situation and didn’t seem to care about water dripping into people’s homes.

Later that evening, another resident called their own plumber unbeknownst to me and had him fix the leak that night (for $600). I texted Richard as soon as I learned of this so as not to waste his time and he got a little salty, texting things like “And we have a contract if that means anything to you” even though he only wrote an estimate for the repair.

All in all, Richard was available, communicative, and showed up when called, but he was ineffective, expensive, and then snarky when he didn’t get his way. He couldn’t fix two pinhole leaks (even temporarily) for $1250. He would have charged an additional $1500 to do a job that someone else did for $600. I only hope my experience informs others.
