I give them a 2 star because they were quick. Although these guys are scammers, I needed a Thermocouple changed out and they charged $200 (they quoted $250 but when I asked after they were done if it really cost that much, the older guy (Gary?) wanted to make it out like he was giving me a deal.
The whole time Gary was complaining how difficulty it was to do, this and that - even the screws at the end were so difficult to line up to get screwed back in I thought it was going to give him a heart attack - they even tried at one one saying we might need a new water heater, or they needed to rotate the heater to gst to where they needed to be - absolutely bullshit.
We do have hot water again but I am pretty positive I could have done it for at least half that price.
Save our money and look elsewhere.

We had a plumbing issue with a commercial building -- old corroded pipes. Called a few plumbers and decided to go with New Pro based on our confidence in Miguel. TRUST – when it comes to your house, that’s the only word that matters. Let me explain why I trust these guys, with a summary of two interactions. [Long story short, I reached out to plumbers 7 times, and only twice did I get an honest inspection. Both times, it was Mr. Speedy.]

1. A few months ago, we smelled a gas leak coming from the rear exterior of the house. In a panic, we dialed 4 different plumbers to get quotes for an urgent inspection. Gas line inspections are not cheap, all but one quoted me several hundred dollars. Freddy at Mr. Speedy asked me a few questions and was the only one that said for my specific issue, I should call SoCal Gas cause they’ll inspect it for free. Freddy was the only one that recommended I call the gas company. Sure enough, SoCal Gas agreed and said the specific issue I had was their responsibility. They came out, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it, for free.

2. We’ve had problems with our second floor shower for years, and this month we decided to spend the money, whatever it takes, to finally fix the problem once and for all. We called 3 plumbers for estimates and two of them said we need to break all the tile and replace the entire shower. The only one that gave me a thorough/accurate estimate was Mr. Speedy. Juan and Randy came out, inspected the shower, as well as the piping underneath the house and realized the root cause was an old/damaged pipe underneath the house. They explained that replacing/re-tiling my entire shower would be a temporary fix, I could just replace the shower valve and the remaining money is better spent fixing the root cause, underneath the house. They took photos to show/explain the problem and brought out their specialists, Edwardo, Angel, and Carlos to fix the pipes. Edwardo took additional photos so I could see the before and after, the shower works great now, and ultimately, I spent less than the two other plumbers quoted me.

And that’s trust.

John came to our home to repair a leak and he did a great job of finding the issue, and informing us about how the issue started and how they were going to fix it. John was really helpful in helping us understand how we can be preventative of issues in the future. Overall, John and his partner did a great job and we will definitely be calling them in the future.

Our bathroom drain has clogged and smelled horrible. They came out in 4 hours and worked magic. The guys were great and got everything fixed . Really recommend this company

I called victor's rooter to check out an issue I had with my water heater. Victor arrived at the time he advised he would, was super efficient, friendly and informative about the issue! I had a difficult slow draining kitchen sink that I could not clear on my own. Tried everything...products, plunging...no luck. Decided to call in the pros. Moses from MRP Plumbing & Rooter Services arrived on time, gave a free estimate, I said “go ahead”. Not an inexpensive fix, but comparable to competitors, and fair, given I was unable to fix on my own. Moses was knowledgeable, friendly, and, most importantly, confident he could clear the drain. I live in downtown Los Angeles in an old house circa 1928. I was very lucky the first 2 years after the purchase until last week when I heard a drip, drip, drip, on my living room ceiling. I searched upstairs but nothing seemed to be wrong. I couldn’t find the source of the drip. So I called a plumber in my area. They were very polite on the phone and made me feel like they knew how to handle the problem. The next day Near and Best Plummer came bright and early. The guy was neat and clean unlike other companies I used in the past. He tracked down the leak in my master bathroom under my sink and in a few minutes the problem was solved.
While Joseph was there, I also asked him if he could snake out the drain in the master bathroom because even though it worked it drained very slowly. In no time it flowed like new. This was a super plumbing company and I’m glad I found them.
