If there were 6 stars here I would give Flood Brothers Plumbing 6 stars. Amazing communication, explanation of issue and work/risk to repair, and patience with our questions.. when you are spending that much $ on a major repair you have questions.. and they understand that.
The work was planned, managed and completed in a timely and professional manner. I would call out names but to be honest.. everyone we worked with from Flood Brothers was great to work with.
We definitely recommend them and they have earned our business moving forward.

Late on Saturday night, our washing machine drain backed up, flooding the garage and backing up the drain pipes all the way to the kitchen sink. Fearing it was a main sewer line blockage, we panicked the toilets would be backing up next, so desperately began calling plumbers trying to find someone who could come out right away. Only Flood Brothers was available at that late hour on a weekend. Soon James was at our door. He was super knowledgeable, super nice and very reassuring. I had my own ideas about how best to approach the problem, and though he was clearly far more an expert than me, he was very receptive of my suggestions. It was an enjoyable collaboration. (Had I not felt inclined to contribute, I have no doubt he would have resolved the issue without my help.) He got the backup cleared and recommended some follow up work (at a more convenient time) to ensure we would not have a repeat of the problem any time soon. James was a great guy, and if we were neighbors, we would certainly be friends!

Late on a Friday afternoon we discovered that our clean out had overflowed and had backed up. Our old plumber of 20+ years had recently retired so we found ourselves in a bind. I went on Google in search of a plumber and, after reading dozens and dozens of reviews across multiple sites plus doing some thorough research myself, I chose Flood Brothers. I called them up around 6 PM and they put me in touch with Philip, their emergency serviceman who scheduled my appointment for the very next morning, a Saturday.
Philip showed up for what I thought was going to be a simple snaking of the line to clear out the blockage. He used a camera snake which unfortunately showed a crack in the clay sewer pipe leading away from the house. Less than an hour later his crew (Santos and another guy) showed up and began the tough work to replace a section of the pipe. About three hours later the pipe was replaced and the problem fixed. Philip came by the next morning to inspect the worksite and complete the invoice. He was extremely nice and communicative about everything.
All in all we were extremely happy with the service from Philip and his crew from Flood Brothers. It looks like we have found our new go-to plumbers. Many thanks to Philip and his crew!

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a plumbing service, period.
When I experienced a leak late at night coming from my closet, this was the first service that could send someone ASAP.
They were able to find the leak and shut off the water immediately.
They came back the next day, fixed everything and got the water back on by midday.
The drying process was immaculate, and the workers kept the place pristine.
Communication was seamless and I always knew what to expect.
There were no surprise charges, and the work was completed in a timely manner.
I could not recommend them any higher.

We were having an emergency outdoor plumbing issue during the recent rains and Tommy showed up on New Years Eve in driving rain and suited up from 10pm until 2am working tirelessly to clear drain debris and find the clogged areas and literally saved us from massive destruction in our home! I called to get a quote and they scheduled an appointment for a free estimate. The guy on the phone said they would come between 3-5. Then they sent a text saying 3-6. It was 5:50pm and I called the office to see why they didn't show up, the girl that answered said, let me call the technician and see what happened and ill call you back. She didn't get my name, number or anything. She never called me back and no one ever showed up. That is very unprofessional. Probably saved me time and money. If they are this unprofessional about coming out to do a simple estimate, I would hate to see what it's like for them to actually do a job. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Angel was on time, he and his crew did a great job in a timely manner. He was very friendly and helped us understand exactly what was going on with our problem. When the job was complete he did a few extra things that we had him look at, and he didn't charge extra.
The Flood Brothers team came out after some storm damage to our drains and pipes. They were very quick to respond, sent a knowledgeable team out to address our issues, and share timely and fair quotes for each step of the process. And our very old drains are now clear. Thank you Flood Brothers!

Had an emergency pipe burst, and they came quickly, helped clean it up replace the pipe and do some preventive work. They communicated well, and walked me through everything, i was very happy with the process.

My dad had a leaking kitchen drain, Philip or Filip (apologies if I misspell) went to his place, according to my Dad he was great, and kept repeating to me how nice Philip was. We had a leak under our kitchen sink due to the connectors between the pipes and the p-trap, as well as the pipes themselves, simply being old. We had another (large corporate) plumbing group come out and give us an astronomical and unreasonable price estimate for the fix, along with a big timeline in which it could get done. Uncertain, we decided to call someone else for a second opinion, and are so glad we did! Not only did Flood Brothers come in at a much more reasonable and realistic estimate, and give us the estimate for free (the other guys charged us just for the estimate, no work done at all), Tony was professional, punctual, and honest about what really needed to be done. He was able to fix the leak and replace the pipes the next day in about an hour (much faster than the other company had said they could do it). His work was neat and he cleaned up everything spotless afterward. And he fixed more than the others had offered to fix at a fraction of the cost! He was very polite and answered all questions knowledgeably and professionally. We were so impressed, and plan on using Flood Brothers for all of our plumbing needs in the future from now on! We're so glad we found you! Plus, we are so happy to be supporting a local, family business.

If you ever need a toilet fixed look no further than Flood Brothers Plumbing. Tommy know exactly what to do. He was the BEST plumber I have ever encountered. He arrived very promptly and was very efficient. After a very thorough, not to mention a very impressive investigation, Tommy was able to identify the exact problem, he discussed each and every step along the way to a perfect flush!
I was expecting have to buy a new toilet but Tommy fixed our existing toilet and fixed other little things like the slow leak and uneven tank that we had cropped up.

I highly recommend Flood Brothers - lovely Brendan in particular - after receiving fabulous service from the company on two jobs. The first was complex, replacing the sewer line that cut through my back yard and required having the team here for a few days. The work was done quickly, ahead of the timeline quoted, and they kept the disruption to a minimum. More recently they fixed an issue I had with my toilet. Great communication, fabulous work. Wish I could give them 6 stars!

This is my second time using this company. The first experience with David went really well. However, I can't say the same for yesterday's service. My estimate was $652.50 by Tomi (which I thought was high for replacing some of the same parts they had replaced earlier in the year Jan 2022) I was told I need to possibly replace my garage disposal, remove waste, snake the line and repair a leaking pipe. I got a second opinion for the same job from another company in the area and I was only changed $125. My garbage disposal was working and in good condition. I'm shocked this company was going to charge me $500 more for the same service for being a returning customer. I was going to get charged for things I didn't even need to replace. Sadly, I won't recommend or use this company going forward.

I've had Flood Brothers do a couple of jobs for my condo; and they were great both times. The first time was my kitchen sink overflowing with sewage backup. They had to replace some rickety old pipes under the house that were leaking all over before they could unclog the system, leaving a much more solid, functional setup afterward. They came back when I needed some pipes replaced that connect to the main sewer, which required digging under the foundation. They finished in one day, and replaced corroded old sub-standardly sized pipes with new 4 ABS. Mike, Jerry, Hector, and Mynor were all great on both jobs, and communicative throughout. The work was solid, and price fair.

After a strange leak from our dishwasher happening out of nowhere, we called and they had Tommy scheduled out next day.
I cannot give Tommy enough stars for his professionalism, courteous and being an all around nice guy!
He was positive and honest with his assessment and even came back the day our new dishwasher was delivered so he could install it and assess that all was corrected.

They wouldn’t give me a price quote over the phone while the other plumbers did. But I figured they have so many stars I’m sure it’s fine. When the technician showed up he was very nice and did a good job explaining the issue but he quoted me a price that wasn’t even close to being competitive with the other plumbers in the area. After the technician left I called another local plumber he came by within the hour (also very nice) and did the same work for four times less than Flood Brothers. If I had went with Flood Brothers I would have paid four times more!! That’s crazy mark up on my book. I can’t speak to the quality of their work because I had to turn the technician away. So, if money is not a concern for you then it could be worth it.

I cannot stress enough how wonderful my experience was with Anthony and especially James from Flood Brothers. I had a major plumbing emergency and the plumbers I'd used before were unavailable, so I literally did a search for plumbers online and found Flood Brothers. They were so lovely on the phone, were able to rearrange their schedule to address my situation in a timely fashion, and were thorough, professional and so nice. They spent over four hours at my home and took care of everything. I am indebted and grateful, and they are now my plumbing company for life.

Flood Brothers was excellent from start to finish. I had a plumbing emergency involving massive pipe buildup/clogs, and they took the time to explain my options. At no time did I ever feel like they were trying to sell me on anything. They were good to ask me what my personal needs were and what they could do to achieve them. Both Brandon and Brendan were really nice and knowledgeable people who kept me informed every step of the way. The crew was efficient, communicative, and always on time. He replaced our showerhead, installed our faucet cartridge, and he replaced our toilet lever and flapper. He went above and beyond in trying to resolve our concerns. HUGE job Well Done
I hope no one reading this has to deal with what we just went through. But I'm glad we called Flood Bros. to deal with it. There may be cheaper solutions. But I can't imagine there are better ones. Sewage began bubbling up into our bathtub and shower. Toilets overflowing. Sinks not draining. Our regular plumbers... (who have been here a lot lately on drain and pipe stuff and didn't suspect a thing), were too busy. So I went to Yelp, and saw these guys, called, they were super responsive, came right away. The job turned into (frankly) a worst nightmare situation, with the entire sewer line needing to be dug up and replaced or relined. Demolition of concrete, the works. But Brendan and Chris were so solid and transparent and clear that at no point did I feel like next steps weren't Absolutely necessary. It was expensive, no question. He brought other professionals with him as well, who specialize in the various problems we had, to be able to give me a thorough evaluation and estimate. He understood I may have had an opportunity to have my home warranty company do the repairs at no cost to me, and he never once asked me to pay for his time and efforts up to that point. My problems started on New Year's eve. Flood Brosnan was extremely responsive and out the next morning. The clogged drains ended up resulting from degraded , collapsed pipe on this 100 yo home. After extensive camera work, the location was identified. This job required tearing up the street as well as part of my entry to the property. They did a great job, trying to inflict as little demolition and slab break up as possible. They communicated regularly and kept me apprised of all things going on. The employees, foreman and on site workers were all excellent to speak to and work with. They answered questions and worked with me when I had questions regarding pricing and process.
Waiting for city inspection slowed the job, a bit, but at the end of all this, we are very happy with Flood Brosnan and would highly recommend them for major and minor plumbing and sewer issues.
Floor Brothers was quick to answer our initial phone call and schedule our appointment for 3 days later. They weren't able to provide any kind of quote in advance, which I understand since they don't know the scope of repairs. The driver arrived within the promised time window and called in advance.
Unfortunately, this is where things went a downhill for me. The technician took a look at our toilet flap device and dishwasher pipe (replacing a short rubber bent pipe) under our sink, and quoted us $338 for both, claiming that it would take a lot of work. That already sounded steep to me. To my surprise, he was finished with both repairs in a total of 15 minutes or less, with parts he had in his van. After he was done, he seemed to be in a rush to leave, but I wanted to make sure everything worked. The toilet was repaired, but the sound of the water is now EXTREMELY loud - about 3x louder than what it was before. I raised this to his attention, and he didn't even care to try to fix it and claimed that it's because the water pressure in our house is too high. I don't understand how this sound was not an issue before he replaced the flapper. He seemed to be in a rush to leave our house but didn't hesitate to tell us we should install a water pressure regulator at our house at the cost of $1,500. He then offered to check the pressure of our water, but claimed he couldn't find his tools to do it.
In the end, I feel like we overpaid for these services and were left with a ridiculously loud toilet flush and mediocre customer service. I wouldn't recommend this company.
We’ve used Flood Brothers in the past but this experience was a bit problematic. They installed our new garbage disposal (after diagnosing that the other one couldn’t be fixed) but couldn’t get it to respond when the switch by the sink was flipped. They suggested I call an electrician. After they left, I took a look under the sink and realized they didn’t plug the disposal into the little electrical box under there, which is how it connects to the switch (instead, they were plugging the disposal straight into the wall outlet). So I plugged it into the electrical box and it worked just fine. I’m just glad I didn’t embarrass myself by calling a plumber, and it makes me scratch my head wondering how a professional plumber could miss this.

Tony came to repair, what I was told by a dishwasher delivery man, was a leaking turn off valve. However when Tony looked he said the valve was fine. Instead it was the current dishwasher supply line that was leaking. This line ironically would have been changed out with the new dishwasher that was to be installed. The good thing is that Tony did find a crack on a different valve and replaced it for me. He explained everything clearly and answered many questions I had about something else I’m going to replace later. He was very patient and kind.

Incredible service. My toilet got backed up at 9PM and water started leaking through the sheet rock on the first floor. My Plumber, James, was at my house when promised. He had booties and gloves on, and a great attitude! James inspected all my toilets, and then went to his truck, returning with a black trash bag, disinfectant spray, and the toilet rooter. He fixed the problem, disinfected the toilet bowl, and then asked for a toilet cleaning brush and cleaned my toilet! I have never had a Plumber make that offer!

Nothing wrong with the service guy, but he did try to upsell me for a simple tankless water heater service. $1,000. The tank cost me $750 when I purchased it. Anyway, I called another company and they came out the same day to service is for $225. These are hard times for everyone guys. The Flood Brothers plumber who came to my house, Leon Castillo, assessed the problem we were having with a bathroom shower and a separate bathtub drain, explained in detail to me what he thought could be done, and then proceeded to do the job. No hard sell about needing to tear everything up and replace pipes. However. Since nothing is ever easy, he had to pry up the drain grate in the shower, which clearly had not been removed in probably 50 years. He managed to do so and then de-clog the drain. Yuck enough—all disposed of expeditiously with no mess left. At the end, he rejiggered the grate into place, having managed not to damage it. Ditto for the tub, which also had its issues with very old fixtures. Anyway, it all worked out. Leon was on time, listened to what I needed and did everything efficiently. Masked and socially distanced throughout.
Had these guys come out for a Pipe repair before my son's birthday party, I expected the last minute repair to be an arm and a leg. When they were done and handed me the bill I was shocked at the price. They resolved the problem, quickly and without any additional charges. They had the pipe back up and water flowing as the first guests arrived. Great service, came on time and made sure to leave no signs of repair. I hope I have no need, but if I do I will use them again!
On Saturday evening my tenants called to tell me that all fixtures in the small rental house were backing up. I was heading to the theater so I told them to call the plumber I usually use, and if they couldn't come to call any emergency plumber available. Only Tommy from Flood Plumbing said he would come. The backup subsided a little so Tommy came on Sunday morning.
I was there to meet him. He was on time, a good start. He diagnosed the problem as roots in the broken sewer main from the front of the house to the street. He showed me the problem using a video camera snake. Using the standard snake, he was able to temporarily resolve the problem, but Tommy told me that it would clog up again and the line from the house to the street needed to be replaced. Since this was the fourth or fifth time the line had stopped up, I agreed.
A two-man crew arrived a little bit later to start the arduous task of digging down to the sewer main in front of the house. The work continued on Monday and was finished late Tuesday afternoon with repiping from under the house to the sewer line in the middle of the street. Another video snake examination confirmed the successful repair, which came with a 10 year warranty.
The repair wasn't cheap, but was in line with what neighbors who had the same problem told me their repairs cost. The old adage, You get what you pay for, still applies. The workers were all clean, neat, professional. As I said to Tommy, Flood Brothers not only does good work, but most importantly, answered the call when there was an emergency. None of the other companies contacted by the tenants, who said they would call back on Sunday morning when they knew which of their crews would be available, ever called back.
We've used Flood Brothers Plumber for everything from a simple clog sink to a total repiping job and they are very dependable, honest, good communication, quality work at a reasonable price. You can't go wrong calling them for a quote. Will definitely use them again.

Had a clogged sink drain from peeling too many potatoes into the garbage disposal. It was 8pm and I found flood brothers plumbing on Yelp. They had good reviews and they provided 24 hour service. I called them and everyone was helpful. Brandon was awesome, professional and did a great job! Definitely gonna use them again.

Phillip came by to check out a leak in the sink area. He noticed the pipe was loose and was able to fix the problem in only a few seconds. He generously waived the service charge for us, a perfect gift for the holidays. If I have a more major issue next time, I'll make sure to contact them again.
Our backyard drains had become clogged and it turned out to be a much bigger deal than I'd expected. Roots and dirt had, over the years, clogged and even broken the pipes underneath our brick patio. The company's camera and other tools couldn't see how far the clog extended towards the street. But we agreed they'd take it step by step to determine how much was necessary to do, and at each step along the way they showed me the views from their underground cameras and the flow of water. I can't vouch for whether others might have been less expensive, but in terms of professionalism, communication and responsiveness, the company, especially Jeff and Brandon, were superb and pleasures to deal with. I'm going to use them again when I deal with the old pipes under our house. (Ah, the pleasures of owning an old home!)

Similar to going to a dentist or a doctor you need to be able to trust your professional. I trust Flood Brothers they are professionals and straight shooters, their price may not be the lowest but the quality and their word is their bond. Today my 2 year old water heater stopped working and my husband, who is normally quite handy, couldn’t deal with the emergency, so I called Flood Brothers out of the blue.

I was so beside myself, I almost cried. I have no relationship with this plumber or his company. They don’t know me at all, but Junior chose to do the kindest of things.

One of my tenants reported a complete lack of water in her unit. Called LADWP who explained the issue was plumbing problem. This occured around 7:30pm on a Friday. Called Flood Brothers who came out to inspect situation. They explained my options and had a crew out the next day digging a trench and repairing the leak. Several hours later the job was done and although it cost several thousands of dollars, the work was completed, they cleaned up and my tenant was happy.

It’s never a good thing to have a plumbing problem on a Sunday evening. I found Flood Brothers and spoke to Anthony, very responsive and he immediately called Brendan.
Brendan, the technician, immediately returned my call. We discussed the problem and he was on his way. He was able to successfully stop the water flow to get us stabilized for the night.
I was impressed with the responsiveness and professionalism from the first phone call to the actual service call. They show you who is coming with a photo and name, stayed in touch re ETA, and were there quickly.

Sub-pump quit working after the heavy rain the eve of Christmas eve. Wasn't sure I'd get someone to show up on Christmas eve but Flood Brothers came to my rescue. Flooding had already subsided but the sub-pump drain was still full of water and we're due for an even heavier storm tonite. He got it working and together we cleaned out the trapped mud so hopefully they'll be no more issues. Fast and efficient and they stand behind the work.

Scheduling was a breeze. I was emailed confirmation of the time the plumber would arrive. The plumber showed up on time, clean, professional, polite, and did excellent work without making a mess in my house. The pricing was fair and I could tell the plumber knew what he was doing. Per the tenant, the technician had an attitude when he approached the job. He cleaned out the sewer pipe but left a mess behind. Flood Brothers has previously performed services at this location, and the experiences have been completely different.
This is a top operation. The systems they have in place for communications , follow up and speedy service are excellent. The owners and staff are all efficient , responsive and professional. I have had two major plumbing jobs with them and some follow ups all done really well. A great group.

Had a plumbing emergency and Flood Brothers were able to schedule the technician the same day. We ended up canceling our appointment because we were able to fix the problem ourselves before technician arrived, But I would definitely use Flood Brothers in the future due to their friendly and professional manner during our communications on the phone.
Flood Bros plumbing were considerate, timely, economical, respectful, knowledgeable, and neat. I have them install a water heater in my home and they were in and out in a flash and left no trace of their presence other than the positive memories of them blessing me with hot water once again. I was living in an old house where the toilet just kept overflowing at least twice a month. The super would come by and do NOTHING! First, let me just say that they just don't make service professionals and companies like this anymore! As a onetime home remodeler and designer I have had a lot of experience hiring professionals over the years. Gas line extension. Pricing was middle of the pack for four bids. Pros: did a good job with no major problems. Understood the nature and scope of job. Good, hard working crew. Cost was appropriate. Did a couple of minor things that was beyond scope with no hassles. Cons: coordination with city for permit/inspections was slightly problematic leading to installation delays, crew only spoke broken English as a second language making communication difficult.
All in all, I'd use them again.

Flood Brothers Plumbing, and specifically Jerry, provided my husband and I with the best experience we could have ever asked for during our incredibly stressful situation. After our condo began to flood, we called another plumbing company's emergency hotline, and got no answer. We called Flood Brothers and they answered immediately. Within 2 hours, Jerry arrived at our home and spent the next 7 hours not only fixing our pipe, but flushing the pipes of the entire condo building. Jerry was calm, cool, collected, and was an EXCELLENT communicator. He thoroughly explained each part of his process, leaving no questions unanswered. It's so hard to find someone who genuinely cares about the safety and well-being of their customers these days, and we were blown away by how thorough Jerry was and how professional and clear he was. Have used these guys 3 times now. 2 times were for me at my condo and 1 was for an emergency at my parents house. All three times the problems were fixed super fast and they were extremely clean. I had a 225 gallon fish tank break and leak all over my whole house. Jerry came out at 10:30 on a Saturday night (which was within an hour of me calling) to address a water leak under the house. He was very helpful and even offered to help me troubleshoot the issue over the phone. We are brand new to the area and are very thankful Jerry was able to come and help us. Definitely call these guys when you have a plumbing emergency!

Average. To their credit, they were the only plumber after 5 calls who answered on a Saturday night. They cleared a root intrusion, replaced several feet of sewer pipe and installed a clean out. Problem was they didn't properly back-fill support the new pipe and it had a 1-2 shift to the existing pipe. I asked one of the brothers to come back and fix it properly, citing that I had a camera inspection done from another company showing the poor workmanship. He got insulin and insisted the video footage didn't matter. Not only did he have to do HIS camera inspection, but it was imperative that I interrupt my busy day and come on site to see the result. Fine. The day scheduled they went several hours early and then called saying ok, yeah we'll fix it.
They eventually did the job properly, but not without some unprofessional behavior from one of the owners.
Update: Owner called me and apologized for his behavior. His PR guy called me again a week later. Ok, he did the right thing. Job was eventually done right. He took steps to make the communication experience better.

Tomii is the best plumber I’ve ever had.
I felt like they were trying to screw me over. Asinine amounts to pull a toilet and snake the line. Was going to cost over $500 to pull a toilet. Don’t drop the soap. I went with a more reputable plumber.

As an area Realtor I can only recommend the best of the best because a referral is a reflection. When Flood brothers Plumbers come to the home, their vehicles are so nice you'd think this is going to cost extra. Then their plumbers are in uniforms and put booties on to enter people's homes, and you'll think I must have hired a high end plumbing company BUT this is a wonderful family owned business that just takes the time to be different from the run of the mill plumbing companies out there. The get that attention to detail matters. As for the plumbing itself, they review the situation, discuss the options in a non alarmist or fear mongering way, and give you solutions to your plumbing issues that are sound advice and fair on your budget. They're fabulous. You won't be disappointed.
I help caretake for a church in Pasadena area and have been using Flood Brothers for around 2 years. I personally feel it was a God given privilege to have been able to run into Geovanni and start a friendship that I believe will last forever. Flood Brothers has done a vast array of plumbing work in the church, and since the building is close to 100 years old it is not a typical everyday type of task to do service there. But his workers have very knowledgeable, treat people with huge respect, and work very hard at being dependable. Through tremendous efforts, working with 26 inch cement walls they have installed a new water main line from the street and repiped most of the church. We were so happy with the work they did that when it came time to install a complete new gas line we never had a second thought of who we want to do this. If your looking for a regular plumber, I highly recommend Flood Brothers for all your plumbing needs.

From the moment we called we were well taken care of. First by Linda who was very attentive to our needs and was able to send someone to help right away. She was very knowledgeable, caring and professional.

As usual, the Flood Brothers plumber was on time, polite and knowledgeable. I will use them again.
They will send a camera down your lines for free ! That way they can give you a correct estimate . Every other service I called wanted $500 to do that and then give me an estimate. Absolutely amazing!!! Brendan is a straight shooter, very honest. I felt very comfortable proceeding with this company.
I was desperate to get both toilets unclogged, and Flood Brothers was the only company who could send somebody SAME DAY.
Tech Daniel called when 30 minutes away, and in the meantime, my husband and his brother were able to get the toilets running. Daniel called when 3 minutes away, and I told him the situation, and he still opted to come and check. He was nice and friendly, and checked things out, and we did not need his service after all. I will definitely call Flood Brothers again if I ever need their help.
They came out for an estimate, and Angel was very nice and professional. But I did not end up retaining their services.
