Michael & Son Services Plumber
I filed a formal complaint against Michael and Son Services’ License Owner Basim Mansour. This company is crooked and hires inexperienced technicians. In June of 2022, our air conditioning unit went out and since our HVAC unit was old, we had the entire system replaced. The price was good $10k and the installation quick. However, things have quickly spiraled out of control and went downhill since. In October of 2022, we called to report that our heat wasn’t working. Travis Dean with the Baltimore branch came out and “attempted” to fix my boiler, which he himself ADMITTED that he HAD NO EXPERIENCE WITH. He ends up damaging it beyond repair after numerous visits. The heating situation was a nightmare and never resolved, which led to me filing a formal complaint, we had to pay another contractor to install a tank water heater, redo our plumbing, because of Travis Dean playing around with something he had no experience with. They have had SEVERAL formal complaints filed against them with the MD Board of HVAC within the past 4 years.Ok we get our heating fixed. Fast forward to this summer, our air conditioner goes up in July. We call and can’t get an appointment for 2 weeks out. Since then, we’ve had 4 technician visits. We stopped running our air conditioner because we knew it wasn’t working. The first technician told us to start running it again and if the compressor blows, they’ll just have to replace the whole thing, it’s covered under warranty. Apparently, there’s notes in their system to which the technician alluded to, (I assume these notes were related to our heating issues and the blow up that happened through email exchange) and really seemed to feel for our unfortunate situation. The last and more senior technician quoted my partner $3,000 for LABOR to install some part that would fix it and in addition I believe it was to replace the compressor. The compressor which blew out BECAUSE THE FIRST TECHNICIAN TOLD US TO RUN IT OUT TO BREAK IT…like seriously what the heck is going on with the mixed messages?!Well guess what? Now they’ve gone silent on me. I was first contacted by a Mr. George “Sam” Hammack, the newest service manager at the Baltimore branch. So new that he’s only been with the company for 3 months!!So Sam has since been ignoring my emails since I’ve asked him to give me a call, as he is THE MANAGER!!! I am so tired of this company not taking responsibility for the information that their techs just spew out. It’s ridiculous. In summary, I’d never use this company ever again. If litigation wasn’t so timely, I’d sue, but I need air conditioning NOW.This company is crooked from the top to the bottom.Travis Dean - Baltimore employee/manager who tampered with and destroyed my tankless water heater - this cost me an additional couple of thousand dollars to fix because we had to have piping done and a tank water heater installed.Michael and Son refused to help us.Leon Lamont - Baltimore office general manager, also stood by his employee Travis Dean, and did nothing to help the situation.Maurice Noori - Customer Service Manager with Michael and Son. He is EXTREMELY RUDE through emails and to the point where it traumatized me and gave me extreme anxiety interacting with him. He is only polite through Better Business Bureau complaints (it’s public record). When we were dealing with our heating issues, I had my partner step in and start communicating with him regarding the issue, because I felt like he was just condescending to me because I’m a woman. Terrible! I emailed Mr. Mansour (owner) to tell him that any further communication from Mr. Maurice Noori would be considered harassment! This man (Noori) has such a nasty disposition and his boss could give a hoot! And at the VERY VERY TOP - Basim Mansour, owner of the company, Michael’s son I believe. Mr. Mansour surely reaps the benefits of the numbers this company does, but unfortunately he’s not involved in day to day operations per Mr. Noori, so he also does not respond to emails.

Fitz Mechanical Inc. Plumber
I forgot that Fitz Mechanical was the installer of my furnace, but when it was in, they removed the old furnace (THANK YOU THANK YOU), and did a beautiful job on checking up on it (FOR FREE), any problems I wanted checked out a few weeks later.. And the cost of the new furnace was two thousand dollars less than any of the other furnace companies in my area. However there's been an army of sales calls from home warranty companies that I considered, but am through with, and maybe Fitz was pressured into being part of this conglomerate of sales calls, which I am sorry has happened to them. So that there is no misunderstanding about this, I would like to say that FITZ MECHANICAL IS THE BEST CHOICE FOR FURNACE INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE!! if they also offer home warranty plans, I would make sure that some other warranty companies do not hack a potential customer into being sold a program that is not FITZ!

We woke up to find a water heater leaking in the basement. I called Called Wes who was responsive immediately. He had me text him some pictures of the situation and determined we needed a new water heater. He arrived about 1.5 hours later and installed a new water heater and removed the old water heater. The job was complete in just a little over 1 hour. Wes was professional and got the job done! I highly recommend using his services.

All Nite Sewer & Drain Cleaning, LLC. Plumber
Thank you Melissa, being a new customer you were so helpful in getting things set up and the follow up. Great service. Kirk and his helper arrived on time and cleared a clogged drain that had flooded our kitchen by way of the washing machine. Kirk was very informative, he surely knows his business , and went beyond the call to be serviced.... not sure I understood all the extras he did but they were needed. He cut the drain hose to size it was to tall, and replaced the drain pipe that had cracked and broken at no extra cost. They were so courteous and friendly and of course cleaned up after, couldn't tell they had been here. I would highly recommend All Nite Plumbing , a Great small business that provides excellent and economical services. I will be using them again. Thanks so much for your service.

Stilwell Plumbing & Drain Plumber
Absolutely horrible customer service! They were my service provider through my American Home Shield claim. The initial experience was fine as the technician did arrive to diagnose the issue with our electricity. He told us that he was going to order the part needed and that he would back in 3 business days to perform the repairs. A week later, with no response, I called the company to get an update. They informed me that the claim had been denied and that I need to call Home Shield needs to put in a new work order(whatever that means.) After speaking with Home Shield, I was informed that the claim was not denied because they were still waiting and had never received the information needed from Stilwell. I again called Stilwell and demanded the manager. I was told she was not available but would call me that day before close of business. 3 days later, the manager had never called me. I again called Stilwell and was told the same thing as before(about the claim being denied.) This frustrated me after the previous conversation which took and hour out of my day. I reminded her again about the huge incident during the previous call and demanded to speak with the manager immediately. The manager got on the phone and was immediately dismissive, took no responsibility for the delay/error and was very condescending and rude. She was talking over me with an elevated volume and was not listening. I had to call her out on her rudeness to which she had no apology or changed behavior. An apology for my inconvenience would have been the correct response. When I explained to her that Home Shield had already called them last week and informed the secretary that they failed to submit the diagnosis so that the claim could move forward, she kept saying Home Shield never called them(which was a lie because they called while I was on the phone.) Then she claimed the tech did not submit the invoice/diagnosis to her. I asked her why she couldn’t just get it from him ASAP. She then tried another angle which was to say that the paperwork the tech submitted was for a non-covered issue. That was totally false. All it was is a replacement of a 20 amp breaker and a fuse...pretty straightforward, easy repairs which are definitely covered. That was a stall tactic. I then had to come up with my own solution to send them the invoice which clearly states the reason for the repairs. I emailed it to them. After speaking with her, I had to call Home Shield again to ensure this gets rectified. They called Stilwell AGAIN and I was promised that the diagnosis would be sent that day and that I should be getting service within 48 hours. That was 72 hours ago with still no response. Of course I had to call again today. I called Stilwell first and was told again that the claim says denied/new work order needed. At first I thought maybe after the diagnosis was submitted that they denied it so I didn’t initially get upset with them. However, I then called American Home Shield giving them a hard time. I discovered that It was actually an error by Stilwell again!! They STILL had not sent the diagnosis to Home Shield after all of this, knowing how much I’d already been inconvenienced and expressed my disdain. I decided to call the company and Home Shield and put them on the phone together to expose the lies. That was the best thing I could have done. That needed with yet another promise that I would have resolution within 48 hours. I received an email with a new service provider so I assume Stilwell wa not able to produce. I’m not surprised because this company is a nightmare and unprofessional. I would never use them again. I have several home projects coming up and I’ll go elsewhere.
