I got in touch with Ty from TL Back through Yelp. I was looking to have a couple of faucets (one indoor, one outdoor hose spigot) replaced. Using Yelp, I sent requests for quotes to about 10 plumbers. Ty was one of 3 that not only responded, but responded promptly. After some back and forth questions about the job, the estimate, and expectations, I chose to go with Ty, and I'm glad I did.

First, he was able to come on the day I chose (which was 2 days after contacting him), and his communication was excellent. He was polite, but also friendly, and when there were options for handling a scenario (such as re-piping a bit under the sink to add an extra cutoff valve for the hose spigot), he spoke to me first about what I wanted, instead of making the decision based on what would put the most money in his pocket.

I found Ty to be honest, and he also did quality work. His total came in just below the low end of the original estimate he provided. I would certainly trust him to go more work, and he'll be my first contact next time I have a plumbing issue.

We used Ace Plumbing for our kitchen remodel. Kevin Bahr was our plumbing tech and he was wonderful. He was very professional and very knowledgeable on what he was doing. He was able to answer all of our questions we had.

I was referred to Electric Eel by a friend. I called 7:30 p.m. on a Friday and Dan (the owner,) answered. He offered me excellent advice which saved me hundreds of dollars. He was able to come to my home on Monday and service my system, as promised. He charged me a reasonable price. I DEFINITELY recommend this company to service your plumbing needs.

My water heater breaking felt like an utter catastrophe. Water was leaking out of the vents, out of the light fixtures, even out of the smoke alarms. I was panicked and did not know what to do. Luckily, I called Caton's Plumbing. Their team of competent Water Mitigation professionals came promptly, using a slew of technology and time-tested experience to stop the problem at it's roots, and mitigate any and all issues related to it. By the end of the day, they installed all the necessary equipment to dry and dehydrate my house. By the next day, I was getting a new water heater installed. By the end of the week, the water mitigation had successfully finished, and I was able to move on with my life.

SJT was called out to repair a toilet that was both constantly running and leaking water onto the floor. Technician only repaired the toilet flapper and did not address wax seal, which caused water to continually leak into the apartment below. When I followed up, the representative was rude, abrasive, and unwilling to work with me to address the remaining water leak. This is not the type of Customer Service you'd expect from any service provider at any price point!

On this frigid day he went out of his way to come by our house and inspect the leaking faucet at the front of our home. He was working on a friend's home and fit us into his schedule without a single complaint. After his inspection he was able to find a simple solution to the issue that saved us a significant amount of money.

Fixed my hot water heater and was amazing

I was very happy with the service!! We had a sudden leak from the kitchen sink into the basement at night.. I called and was told I'd get a call back when a plumber was on the way about an hour after I called (quicker than the within the 2 hour estimate). David arrived and fixed the leak quickly and was very friendly. He explained everything clearly. Price seemed a bit high but perhaps the going rate for this work. The next morning Paul came promptly when he said he would and checked out everything for possible water damage. He put in a fan and didn't charge me anything! I would definitely call this company again!

We needed a new water heater ASAP and he was very fast to give a quote and was able to do the work very quickly. Very professional and timely. I will definitely be calling again.

Mike is the North Central Baltimore resident Plumber. He is my go to when I’m in a pinch and also for any extensive plumbing work, e.g. roughing in kitchen and bathroom pipes, and he’s even happy to work with period applications like the installation of our early 1900s cast iron sink with original plumbing valves.

He’s a master at his trade, and willing to tackle some of the most obscure plumbing scenarios, which is often encountered in turn of the century Baltimore row homes. Additionally, he is a fantastic communicator and very responsive and realistic with his schedule. If you’re in Charles Village, Hampden, Waverly or other North Central neighborhood, he’s your guy.

Very friendly and quick to respond. Explained what the issue was, how he would fix it and how to prevent it from happening again. Was very knowledgeable and took time to really show me what the problem was. I will definitely call him again for any future repairs.

Told there was no fee to come and do an assessment. Showed up and did the assessment and made up an excuse for why they wanted to charge me $150. Said the part needed had to be ordered and they would get back to me. Told me the part was not available and a full replacement was the only option (3K dollars worth of replacement). I called the company who makes the toilet and they said it was in stock and shipped it to me with 1 day delivery. Called them to ask more questions and set up install. Never returned my calls, never returned my money. Had to contest the charge. BEWARE THEY LIE!!!!
