Best Area Plumbing in Baltimore MD

Mike is the North Central Baltimore resident Plumber. He is my go to when I’m in a pinch and also for any extensive plumbing work, e.g. roughing in kitchen and bathroom pipes, and he’s even happy to work with period applications like the installation of our early 1900s cast iron sink with original plumbing valves.

He’s a master at his trade, and willing to tackle some of the most obscure plumbing scenarios, which is often encountered in turn of the century Baltimore row homes. Additionally, he is a fantastic communicator and very responsive and realistic with his schedule. If you’re in Charles Village, Hampden, Waverly or other North Central neighborhood, he’s your guy.

Lal and his assistant did an outstanding job installing a new sump pump and backup unit. Quality work at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Must have had a bad run considering allOf the good reviews for the company. Waited over 4 hours outside of my time window for the service technician to arrive. Late due to another job. It happens and I understand that. What I don’t understand is that when I get the call that he’s 20 minutes away somehow it turns into my appointment being rescheduled for a completely different day! When I called the dispatcher to find out what is going on, she informed me after 10minutes on hold that she isn’t sure what happened and that the tech can still come out and add me to the end of his route which would be after 6 pm. 5 hours after the beginning of the original window. Absolutely not. Will be using another company that can better serve customers

Metcalf did a great job fixing a gas line issue I had. Mike was great and answered our additional plumbing questions and taught us a lot. I will definitely be calling Metcalf whenever I have any plumbing issue!

The owner of this company is an excellent and a reasonable person to work with to bring the cost to its minimum price unlike all other similar companies I've tried. He is personally involved with the project and also supervises all the details of the work. He turley cares about the quality and efficiency of his work. W.A. Gambrill installed new faucets and piping in bathroom vanities including a new sink bowl. Additionally, they installed new valves for the basement piping. The quality of the work was excellent, the plumbers were professional in resolving all issues, the office staff was responsive to scheduling, and the price was very reasonable.
