I can't tell you how many emergency plumbers we called when our valve snapped. Most didn't answer, others couldn't send a tech, only one could even send a request out to a tech but couldn't give an eta. After waiting 2 hours for them, we called Nevada plumbing authority. They got to us in record time, worked super fast, and prevented a flood. I'm eternally grateful, and cannot recommend enough.

Called on a Saturday to ask about someone coming out to use the camera scope to find what was blocking my tub drain (it won't drain). Was quoted over the phone $89, and told the supervisor was the only one who could do it and they would set up the visit with them. Monday, a plumber from Silver State showed up (NOT the supervisor as I was told would be here), told my husband who was home that it would be $400! The plumber, after being told what we were quoted, called his office (who previously told me $89) and told him I was never quoted a price! They then proceeded to have my husband pay $25 for them to send out the wrong person who couldn't do the job and be called a liar. I will also be filing a report with the BBB about this.

I called American Leak Detection on Monday morning and was told someone would come to our house between 10 and 12 the same day. Right on time at 10am, Jon showed up and quickly detected where the leak was (water main line between house and meter). He marked the area and the next day I dug a hole and the problem was right where he said it would be. My husband replaced the damaged pipe and the problem was solved.
