Best Replace Equipment in Kansas City MO
Admittedly the quote was on the high end but not outrageous. But this is my dad’s house and I knew he had Band-Aided plumbing problems for years so I knew there was no longer a chance to dodge the issues. Which included rotting cast iron and a leaking water heater. But AB May was fast, neat, clean and did excellent professional work. Robert and Anthony were friendly answered all our questions even while they worked in 3 different parts of the house. I stood in the basement and kitchen admiring their work long after they were gone.

We had the best experience with Chase replacing our 23-year old water heater. We had several quotes and Chase was by far the best for our budget and he took the time to answer all my questions (and I ask a lot of questions!) before he even came out. He really knows his stuff. He is very professional, easy-going, and upfront about the work he would complete. He was honest about the potential for other things that he might find which could need updated. The quote and installation process were so easy and we’re very pleased with our brand-new water heater. Chase is so nice, and I highly recommend you give him a call if you need your water heater replaced.

I had a shower and sink backing up and needed it taken care of quickly. I called first thing on a Friday thinking I would have to schedule for next week, but they were able to come out same day! Within in a couple hours from my phone call, they were out to my house and had diagnosed what was causing the back up was not a main line issue, but some old plumbing. They quickly cut out the problem pipe, installed a working piece and solved my problem. Could not be more happy with the response time and how quickly my problem was taken care of. Also Cory was great at explaining the issue and the fix. I will be using Zoom Drain again if I run into any other problems.

I am an out of state investor and found Austin through Thumbtack. My business partner and I took a chance on him and he was great. Didn't charge us more than he said he was going to and was efficient in getting the job done. We have been using him ever since and have no intention of stopping anytime soon. Would recommend if you're looking for a plumber.

My basement flooded and ruined my water heater. Mission Plumbing Heating & Cooling was great! Roseanne in their office was my first point of contact. Very friendly and professional and immediately got to work to find the right size heater for my small basement, and scheduled the crew for the following day. They installed a new water heater at a reasonable price. Jim the installer was professional, friendly, competent and had the job completed in just under 2 hours. He had an assistant with him and, unfortunately, I did not catch his name. But he was also very good. This was my first time using this company and I will use them again should the need arise, and I highly recommend them!

**Update: Pierpoint reached out and apologized for the mishap and made it right with me. Updating score to reflect my satisfaction, appreciate the transparency and such.**
I had Pierpoint come out and give me a quote for three issues, needed a new outdoor spigot, pressure release valve, and a water shut off in the crawl space.
Quote went fine, I called a week or so later to schedule someone to come out. Day of my appointment, guy shows up and asks what we're doing. Tell him about the three issues above, says he doesn't have a spigot on hand and will need to run to the store. He's gone for an hour, not the end of the world but comes back and gets to it. He comes and gets me when he's done, tells me about how a pipe in my crawlspace is disconnected and someone will reach out to give me a quote since that's not his job, I pay and he leaves.
I decide to check on the water shut off as I was about to go on vacation and turns out they didn't install the shut off, only the pressure release valve. I call back and ask if they can come back out and install the shut off as well as give me the quote for the disconnected pipe. Lady on the phone is nice and says they'll have the same guy come out and install it and have the quote guy come at the same time.
Next day, guy does show up and fix the issue but the guy who was supposed to give me a quote for the disconnected pipe never shows up. No explanation or reschedule either.
Ended up calling someone else (John from Superior Plumbing KC) who came out day-of and fixed the pipe in less than 30 minutes, so I'm not really sure why Pierpoint needed to have another person come out and give me a quote when it was an easy fix.
Overall they did what I paid them to do, but communication was poor and I'm not a fan of how they seemingly were fine with letting my pipe stay disconnected down there dumping water/waste.

Jacob and Kevin were on time, knowledgeable and walked us through all the work that was done. They provided good maintenance advice going forward to keep the new AC unit and coil in top shape. They were courteous of our time and cleaned up well when done. They were professionally and overall a great experience with LBA. Highly recommend for new installation and regular maintenance.

we previously rated the service low because it was the second time we scheduled an appointment where the time came and went with no response from the company. The work done has always been top notch! After further contact from Roto-Rooter we realize their attention to recognize this as an issue is outstanding.
