I had Pierpoint come out and give me a quote for three issues, needed a new outdoor spigot, pressure release valve, and a water shut off in the crawl space.

Quote went fine, I called a week or so later to schedule someone to come out. Day of my appointment, guy shows up and asks what we're doing. Tell him about the three issues above, says he doesn't have a spigot on hand and will need to run to the store. He's gone for an hour, not the end of the world but comes back and gets to it. He comes and gets me when he's done, tells me about how a pipe in my crawlspace is disconnected and someone will reach out to give me a quote since that's not his job, I pay and he leaves.

I decide to check on the water shut off as I was about to go on vacation and turns out they didn't install the shut off, only the pressure release valve. I call back and ask if they can come back out and install the shut off as well as give me the quote for the disconnected pipe. Lady on the phone is nice and says they'll have the same guy come out and install it and have the quote guy come at the same time.

Next day, guy does show up and fix the issue but the guy who was supposed to give me a quote for the disconnected pipe never shows up. No explanation or reschedule either.

Ended up calling someone else (John from Superior Plumbing KC) who came out day-of and fixed the pipe in less than 30 minutes, so I'm not really sure why Pierpoint needed to have another person come out and give me a quote when it was an easy fix.

Overall they did what I paid them to do, but communication was poor and I'm not a fan of how they seemingly were fine with letting my pipe stay disconnected down there dumping water/waste.

We had a leak on the side of our water heater. Thought I needed an entirely new unit. It was a simple repair.

Jason got our new baby's bathroom bath/shower back in working condition after many years of non-use. I wish a square of drywall removal was not necessary, but I understand that that was the only way to access the parts needing attention.

I called them up to come for some Sewer Gas. They called before coming, and I asked the Plumber over the phone the pricing, because I wasn't told that before. He said Service Call is $50 min just to come over. If they had to get any tools out or do anything it is $120 min. I said go ahead and come over. We walked up stairs to laundry and downstairs to basement and explained where the smell was coming from. He pointed out to P Trap Drains that were dry and instructed me to add a quart of water. In and out in less than 10 minutes. He went to get invoice and came back and it said $120. I inquired as to why it was different than the $50 I was quoted for service call. He said. There's a trip charge and 30 minutes labor. I said I thought a service call was $50, unless you did something. He suggested that they were cheap compared to other options and there was the mileage and trip charge and half hour. I paid the $120, but will not be recommending their services.

Just like before, service was great, problem was fixed and no nonsense. Thank you BFP for handling our plumbing issues. See you next time.

I had a leaky bathtub faucet and needed a plumber. My plumber I normally used finally called at 6pm saying he couldn’t make it at all over the weekend. I called Rice Plumbing. Mrs. Rice came out next day, Saturday, and fixed the problem. She was extremely professional and solved my problem quickly. Very fair on pricing. My plumber of choice from now on
