We recently purchased a foreclosure which had an 18 YO electric water heater. I decided we should replace that sooner rather than later.

There are several new options such as tankless and heat pump models. I have typically chosen gas water heaters in the past for efficiency and quick recovery. Since the house never had a gas water heater, I would have to go high efficiency in order to use PVC out the side of the house for supply and exhaust. Through all my research, I settled on a gas tankless.

I put out bids on HomeAdvisor and Angie's List and one of those that reached out was Zack at Mac Wilson Plumbing. Zack sounded knowledgeable, he answered my questions, and his prices seemed fair. Zack recommended a Navien tankless which seemed like a good product, so we went forward.

I had to have the gas company upgrade the gas meter and run an electric outlet to where the tankless would reside prior to installation. Zack had our new water heater installed just prior to our move in. He had to order a stand for the new water heater and had to make a couple trips to work everything out, but he did not complain. He routed the supply and exhaust PVC piping smartly.

They also brought the plumbing up to code by adding an expansion tank and pressure regulator. They also replaced the leaking globe valves with newer ball valve. Furthermore, they put in quick disconnects for the existing water softener with shut off valves so I can easily replace it down the road. He also installed new ball valve for our new whole house steam humidifier that the HVAC company would not do. They were quick and efficient and did excellent work. They also went the extra mile and ran a PVC drain for my water softener and tied it into the HVAC drain. My plumbing now looks modern and clean.

Lastly, Zack added a gas line for a gas dryer and gas cooktop at a later time as he is a busy guy and Covid messed with his staffing during our project. I felt his reasonable prices for the great work he did worth the wait.

On a personal note, Zack had a key to our home so he could let himself in and I managed to lock us out of our home one night early on. I called Zack in desperation and he promptly came over and let us in, not expecting anything in return. That speaks volumes about who this man is.

The Navien tankless water heater is excellent, and I highly recommend them if you are building a new home or upgrading your existing hot water tank. I can run multiple showers simultaneously, back to back, and never run out of hot water.

I would highly recommend Zack and Mac Wilson Plumbing due to their excellent work and fair prices. Zack is proficient in his trade, honest, and a man of integrity which is hard to find in the residential building trades these days. I have my plumber and plan to use him for future projects and/or plumbing problems.

I had just closed on the property and knew the hot water heater would need to be replaced soon but I didn’t expect it to fail quite that soon. Day after Christmas, one of my water lines crack due to it being pressed against the cold concrete. I try to do business with locally owned companies when I can. Called around and found that Mac Wilson Plumbing was the only one who could get someone out the same day. Very professional and couldn't beat the response and price. Will be putting Mac Wilson Plumbing on my list for all my plumbing needs.

Complete removal and replacement of drain stacks old plumbing in the basement. Moved washing machine hook ups for remodeling. Ted and Austin were wonderful would not use any other company. The owner Zack was even on site and inspected employees work Love this company. Everything works like it should now.

Ignore the old sealant (I asked them to leave it so I could do a little cleanup of our counters as a whole). Stunning install and took less than two hours.

Mac Wilson Plumbing responded quickly to a request I had for an estimate on a water flow issue I was dealing with. They were knowledgeable and professional, and soon after receiving my quote they were onsite and finished the job quickly.

This past year, I bought an old home (built in 1925). Unfortunately, upon moving in, I found that the plumbing was done almost entirely in corroded cast iron. Mac Wilson came out to rescue and tackled a monstrously large job in less than a day and a half. I needed to have my sump pump discharge point extended from the middle of my yard or closer to the street gutters. I was quoted a reasonable price from Mac Wilson, which was half the cost of another company.

Zack and Kody showed up the day the work was schedule on time. They were polite, respectful and answered any question I had clearly and concisely. When they were finished I could barely tell they had just dug a large trough in my yard to lay the extending pipe. The seep box they installed is barely visible unless standing right over it. Donna, who works the phones was always attentive and made sure I was taken care of. I was very impressed with everyone I interacted with and would definitely recommend them for any plumbing project you have.

This company met every expectation I had. With the COVID-19 spreading so quickly, I was worried about having someone come in to our home to fix our plumbing problems. Zack called ahead to make sure we still felt comfortable with him coming in our home. He wore protective gear and made sure to sanitize any areas he worked. It was so appreciated. I feel like most companies don’t truly care about their customers, but I promise you, this one does! I would highly recommend!! After first call it took almost a week to get the work done after 3 appointments that they failed to show up to do the work blaming lack of parts when they were the ones setting the appointments! Would not use them for any future plumbing needs.

Do not hesitate to use this company. I needed outdoor plumbing repair. The first thing I really liked about Mac Wilson was that they used an independent camera company to assess my issue so I felt like I got a fair and honest explanation of my problem by someone not trying to sell me anything. I got 3 other bids for my issue which were $4,250, $7,257, and $10,222. Mac Wilson fixed my issue for $2,200. Not to mention the obvious cost difference I truly felt like two of these other 3 companies were wanting me to have work done that was not necessary. It was only by the grace of God that I found Mac Wilson Plumbing. Everyone I dealt with was wonderful. Donna in the office was so friendly and helpful. Zach who actually did my work was awesome and professional and kept me well informed. Chris who I worked with on financing my job was very helpful, professional, and courteous. If you have any plumbing needs you won't go wrong with Mac Wilson Plumbing. We were in pretty bad shape with water in our basement. Our house didn't have a sump pump, and they came out on a Sunday to give us a free estimate. They scheduled the installation that same week, and we couldn't be more pleased with their work, professionalism and diligence. They went over and above, and have earned our loyalty. Mac is the best! Came over here last time, fixed shower leaking into basement ceiling with tightening the seal. Charged us nothing and gave advice as to who to call to fix backup in basement drain with a long enough auger.

I was contacted by Mac Wilson Plumbing, after I posted my need for a water heater replacement. Donna; who was pleasure to work with, listened to me, and got me in touch Zach. We talked about what was going on with my existing water heater and determined that it was past its prime. Donna had told me that they installed Ruud Professional model heaters... not the type that is sold at the big box stores. I decided to go ahead, and was amazed when I was told that they could install it the very next day. Two plumbers showed up and finished the job in just a few hours. They were very conscientious and neat. Zach and everyone in this company are great to work with, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing a plumber... Very honest and customer oriented. Pricing was good too, Zach told me that most companies charge extra for the expansion tank; which code requires, but he includes it in the price.

Zack was willing to work with us to problem-solve and come up with unique solutions what worked for our property. He presented us with choices about what we could do, and reasonable prices for different services. Zack was polite, hard-working, conscientious, and dedicated to giving us the results we hoped for. We always felt we were in capable, honest hands, and will use this company again if the need arises.

Having just purchased a home, I was saddled with a few repair issues. The most chilling was a my hot water heater going out, on a Friday night. Saturday, I was on the hunt for a reputable business and received a call from Chris Wilson with Mac Wilson plumbing, LLC. Chris was very prompt, professional and assured me that the issue would be rectified in a timely fashion. Scheduled an appointment for Monday to install the new Gas Tankless Water Heater. Upon further discovery - it was determined that it was not really feasible/cost effective to replace bad tank with a tankless, because of the required venting and amperage needed. I appreciate the entire teams input, as they were the experts and made me feel comfortable in my final decision.
I would highly recommend this team, and will enter them into my phone, as my continued ‘go-to’.
