I used Roto-Rooter to fix my toilet. Oscar was professional, responsive, and on time. The price was in par with other plumbers. He confirmed with me before he started and gave me an estimate. I would use them again!

On super short notice, 1st Home & Commercial was able to send an electrician to my project when the company I originally hired bailed on me at the last second. This was a lifesaver, for sure! Thank-you, Everyone!

Our furnace stopped working on Sunday morning and I called Turbo and they were out the same day to take a look at the problem. Jay explained the problem thoroughly and offered to try and find parts for our ancient furnace without trying to sell us on a new one. Replacing was the way to go for us, however, and Turbo was able to bring and install a new one the next day. We were very impressed with the speed of their service and the price was reasonable. They cleaned up the work site afterwards, were polite and communicated everything well. If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be stricter Covid protocols, as I had to ask a few guys to wear masks in the house. Otherwise, great service and we would be happy to use Turbo again.

Robert was professional and quick. He made sure before starting the work that it was covered under the warranty, and that there wouldn’t be a fee. He was personable and pleasant. It’s nice to know there are good people who do quality work and take pride in their work.

Very impressed with Efficient. They scheduled me in for an electrician at short notice. John was fantastic. Professional, patient and incredibly helpful. Great experience and will use them again in a second. In fact, it was so good I booked HVAC installation with them a week later. Brian walked me through all the options with great patience and Tony and Tomas, the installers, did fantastic work. They worked late and did a really great job. I wanted my furnace closet modified tor reduce the sound and Efficient sent out a separate technician Randy who was wonderfully helpful. The whole process from start to finish was great. If you want an electrician or an HVAC specialist, I highly recommend Efficient.

Zen and the other Tech with him were both professional, courteous and did very well answering my many questions and their answers were clear and detailed. They did not give up at first sign of trouble. They tried serveral methods before detemining the drain pipe would need to dug up to further investigate.

When I first moved into my house, the HVAC system was somewhat of a mess. When the heat ran, my house would get dry to the point that my skin and eyes hurt and that the tuning pegs on my viola wouldn't even hold in place. The air conditioning was less harsh, but smelled kinda nasty. On top of that, my two story house without zoning had crazy temperature differentials between the two floors. You could be freezing downstairs while upstairs was a sauna.I had Rich from Elite come over after seeing good reviews here on Google, and he was able to quickly identify the shortcomings of my current system. For one, the furnace was way oversized, causing the extreme drying issue. The AC itself was actually sized correctly. The ductwork in the attic was less than ideal as well, though functional. The ductwork downstairs had been pretty battered in one section due to pests in this house's past. Rich was also even able to explain why the master closet didn't have a vent, even though it clearly needed it. (Extreme temperature differentials) It seems the original system designer just lumped it in with the bathroom and called it a day.The last HVAC system seems to have been installed in 2017, so I kind of felt bad replacing it being so new, but at the same time I did need a system that works well, and I did want to swtich to a reversible heat pump rather than rely on gas.Rich ran heat load calculations based on measurements for the house and took into account my specific use of the house. Going so far as asking about heat generated be electronic equipment I have in my work room. Ultimately, he came up with a plan that I was happy with. One thing to note is pricing. Rich was very up front about the fact that Elite is on the expensive side, and that is certainly true. Their justification is quality, and that seems to hold in my experience. But, for example, they installed a bathroom ventillation fan for $650. The price for said fain, a Broan A80, is $60. So that's a hefty markup for profit margin and labor. And that doesn't include wiring it up, as they are not licensed electricians, so they won't touch that. (Understandably) Had I realized that latter part, I probably wouldn't have had them do that, as my main justification for the cost was my own laziness. This really is my only real gripe, and I have requested more transparency on this in the future. The installation was done by Tyler and Preston with who I think was their supervisor, Gary, stopping in to help a few times. These guys were awesome! So, my cousin actually also had her HVAC done elsewhere in the country on the same day, and it sounds like one of their installers had a tendency to fall asleep on the job. By contrast, Tyler and Preston showed a ton of enthusiasm for their work. It was clear to me that these guys are total HVAC nerds, very passionate about their work! Not only that but they were very hard workers. So, my old system had been glued shut by its installer and the air conditioning lines run in front of very important to access panels. By contrast, these two noticed that their condensate drain pipe job was making it a little hard to change the air filter, so they straight up redid it! And this attention to detail was not limited to that. Preston seemed to be quite proud of his wiring job for the zone controller, and indeed it looks super clean! When Tyler was installing the vent covers, he was measuring to fractions of an inch to make sure they were perfectly parallel to the wall. Their last day on the job ran pretty long. These two stayed late to make sure my system was up and running before they left. And even as they were tired and I'm sure just wanted to go home, they made sure to get everything done right and even clean up thoroughly afterwards.Overall, I'm very happy with the job Elite did, and I look forward to many years of comfort thanks to them. While on the pricey side, I think their justification of quality is definitely very real. And I'd definitely be able to recommend them to anyone in the area who might need their services.
