**update again** not three weeks after this debacle, the same issue occurred again and we had to call another company to excavate the front yard for over 3,400 dollars.**UPDATE** After working with Eddie, our fourth and final plumber, and speaking with supervisor Jason, I can say that managers and Eddie went above and beyond to ensure all this was resolved. I am more than satisfied with the result and would trust Roto Rooter again to do future service at our home.Three visits, three days, and a dozen calls later I cannot use water and Roto Rooter won't honor their quote to fix the issue. The first guy looked for only thirty seconds, our appointment accidentally didn't get confirmed so the second guy didn't show up until past midnight and then said he couldn't fix the issue because we'd used drain cleaner at 3 pm. He promised somebody at our house the next day at exactly 3 pm and he wrote an invoice for us and provided us with the carbon copy. The next day our third tech is an hour late and refuses to do the work stated on the order for the price promised. He then leaves.I can't get any supervisors to call me back or anybody to talk to me about this.

I would recommend getting a price quote before they get to your house. They did a nice job, but I over paid by 35% ($800) over another major plumbing outfit. I know this because I price checked them later. Don’t make the same mistake I did. They definitely took advantage of the situation and charged me a premium.

John Fowler Sewer & Drain was amazing, I called them to fix a leaky shower and clogged drain and they arrived so quick. They answered all my millions of questions, and was so nice about my crazy barking dogs. Would highly recommend them for anything!!

Curtis, the technician, was a polite, extremely knowledgeable, very kind, and helpful professional. After an exhaustive diagnosis... he spent quality time explaining our water heater issues. His honesty and feel for people were reflected in the way he talked.Pricing was clear & was presented well in advance to make an informed decision. Great service. No issues. Handled my sewer back up problem efficiently and expertly. Knew exactly what they were working with in this old house. More than reasonable pricing, too. I won't ever call anyone else.

My SIL called to get a blower wheel and blower motor replaced. A guy came today and within minutes said they needed a new furnace. $6K What they needed was a blower motor (possibly) and definitely a new blower wheel. So when they guy was told absolutely not to the replacing a whole furnace he said $2K to replace the blower motor and blower wheel.

I’m sorry but parts cost $200. I can see labor being a couple hundred-maybe even $300, but $2K is unacceptable.

Pretty sad when companies don’t actually want to do “repair work” and just want to replace systems.

English is. the best period. I grew up with Mark and Mickey and delivered newspapers to Lowell, and they do the highest quality work in the industry. The other plumbers I called ,could not get the job done ,but English could. That's the difference. Not your average make all the money you can company. 5 star plus.

I called up Curt & Jerry Sewer after a referral from another local plumbing company to investigate a sewer gas smell in my house. A couple guys arrived and I explained the issue to them. They offered up some 'advice' on the issue but barely even came inside. Instead of going into the basement to actually investigate, they just told me what they 'probably thought' the issue was from and gave me a $99 service visit bill. Since the issue was not resolved, I contacted another company and they were able to locate the issue within two minutes of being in the basement. I would not recommend contacting Curt & Jerry to look into any issues. Calling them turned out to be a complete waste of $99.

Had a clogged pipe resulting in water damage. Miguel was incredible helping us diagnose the issue, coordinate with plumber and even helped us through insurance claim steps. Couldn’t recommend any higher. Very professional, personable and knowledgeable. He made a holiday weekend catastrophe as painless as possible.

Offers a septic Tank pump out. Their prices start at $350.00 for the first 1000gal. There are less expensive honey dippers out there!

I had a clogged kids toilet which I tried multiple times to fix. Jeff J. came out and had it fixed in less than 5 minutes for me.

If one is not interested in doing the work, just say so. It's ok to be honest.
