Needed help with an apartment toilet that tenant had dropped a small hand cream bottle into. Response was within hours of call to plumber on site. Attempt to remove with toilet auger actually destroyed the auger. Time was late so scheduled to come next day. They showed up following day with a purchased toilet in case second attempt with auger didn't work. This attempt succeeded. I was billed the original quote from the day before. The workers were courteous, neat and professional. The company communication was through text, phone and email so I knew exactly what was happening. I would recommend this company.

After the Texas freeze storm of 2021, we needed to have our home totally re-piped. We obtained a few quotes from other local companies but eventually decided to go with Bluefrog Plumbing + Drainage of West Houston. The ladies at the office who were the first point of contact were awesome and amazingly friendly.CJ and his crew came out to survey the house and started the job soon after evaluating the job and providing a reasonable quote for what it cost to do the job. By midday, the whole house was completely re-piped in a very excellent and professional manner. I have had to use Bluefrog a few times since then for other jobs. I recommend Bluefrog Plumbing + Drain of West Houston for all your plumbing needs. Ask for CJ by name. He is a decent man and knows his job.

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience with Texas Plumbing. I contacted them because I was needing a licensed plumber to do a gas inspection before centerpoint could turn on the gas to the house. At first contact Nathan was great, very responsive and quickly got me on the schedule for the next morning at 9am.I scheduled someone to be at the house from then on. They did not show up until 1PM. They never called me letting me know they would be delayed. I had to call several times to get an update on what the plan was. Nathan apologized and said he'd work with us on the pricing, which never happened.While they were there we asked if they could look at why 2 of my plumbing fixtures were not working. The gentleman let me know the diverters were bad and would need replacement. I approved them to continue with the fix, and after the work was done, turns out that wasn't the issue but rather a simple fix that required no parts or much effort. I discussed this issue with Nathan to express my frustration of how I could have potentially saved $300 (the cost to replace the diverters, which only $80 of it was for parts), and he said he'd talk to his technician and would get back to me on the situation. He never did, but were quick to send me an invoice.The story goes on and on, but the point is the communication was awful. I work for a reputable residential/commercial builder and have been exposed to terrible subcontractors, but you just never get used to how unprofessional some of them are. I wish I would have just pulled off my plumber from one of my jobs and had him do me this solid rather than seeking for someone else.

After getting 2 other estimates to repipe our home I decided to go with Ben and Leo with Texas premier plumbing. They work hard for 2 days and got the job done. I’m very happy with their customer service and professionalism. Very happy to recommend them.

We used Bradbury Bros for our HVAC, and they did a complete clean and tune up for $600. Two weeks later, when temps were 104 outside, our system failed on a Sunday. We called Bradbury and they couldn’t even have someone look at it until later the week after next! Called Abacus and they were there that day. They offered a portable ac unit so we could stay at home, and the new system was in in 2 days. Since then, we have been loyal Abacus customers. We have had abacus put in our new HVAC, thermostat, fix leaking pipes and faucets, install kitchen faucet, and install a new toilet over the last 2 years. Their service is professional, FAST, and quality. There are probably cheaper places to go, but they are cheaper in the short term- abacus saves you time and money by doing things right the first time.

Best Plumbing company..shhh Houstons best kept secret. They always do a great job..reliable patient and honest..tried others but by far they need to be City of Houston best plumbing company. Hands down..never been so satisfied with plumbing professionals. Thanks guys

This is the second time I have used/contacted DYZ Plumbing. Everything about the company was professional, from the phone calls to the emails to the in person repair visit. They are courteous and respectful of my time and my home. (Things that a lot of other businesses could learn from them…)The master plumber, who came with a fellow plumber, was top notch. Not only did they bring uninstall the perfect new kitchen faucet, but before they did that, they replaced the old sink valves, which to my surprise were leaking under the cabinet. It could have been a catastrophe!Their professionalism and commitment to doing the full job and taking care of clients is a testament to this business and a relief for customers like me.They have my loyalty and I thank them for a job very well done!

Never again will I call One Call. My A/C unit was not blowing cold air, so I called One Call for help. I will admit that Wade showed up on time, which has almost never been the case for me when calling a service company. In about 15 minutes, I was told that my motor in my A/C unit was out, and that it would cost me $999 to buy a new motor, because my unit is apparently out dated. It's a 10 year old unit, so I figured that may be true, but that still sounded way too high.Before I could even think about what I should do, it turned out that the service guy is also the sales man. Wade tried to tell me that it wasn't worth replacing the motor and that I should look into getting a whole new unit. He also was quick to pull out his catalog that he had on hand, and recommended that I spend around 12,000 for a new unit. At this point I was fed up, and told him that I would get a second opinion.After doing some research, I was able to buy the motor at a nearby store in the heights for just under $100 and install it myself. I told the story to the guy I bought it from, and he laughed and said that Lennox sells (or at least used to sell) these motors wholesale for $35. Unbelievable.Anyways, my A/C has been working fine ever since. I cannot believe how close I came to getting ripped off. I will not be calling One Call again.

Every single service VIP plumbing worker either on the phone or in person has been so incredibly polite, knowledgeable and such people persons that I'm 100% happy with their visits every time. They take pictures of their work on your system before and after.

Chavez Plumbing came out right away for water main leak but went downhill from there. Julio and 2 others installed new pipe to replace initial pipe which was leaking. Did a good job. For How much this cost I should have gotten everything done correctly and neatly, especially since I now have more problems and cost to deal with. When covering up the new pipe they left many sticks in dirt and Now I found out they cut, in multiple places, the wire to control my in-ground watering (which I was led to believe they knew all about working with this). Now I must pay more for that fix!Right after this I had Chavez Plumbing do some other plumbing around my house, (silly me). 1) Shower in 2nd bathroom, damage they caused by blowing my line into the house causing sediment to clog shower valve, making it unusable! 2) clear sewer line from kitchen,1) He said he worked with a tiler, the plumber opened wall, 15 tiles replaced a lot of plumbing to shower, then tiler came. He was not prepared for tile color which surprised me that plumber hadn't taken sample for him. I had learned through renovation it is hard to match even white tiles. He takes off and goes to 2 places for different tile to match (ONLY 2 PLACES) and one was Home Depot? I personally know there are at least 10 different places! I was forced to take a cheaper tile that matched color best, then he used a gray-brown grout that would supposedly match the obviously white grout I had. When I raised concerns that it was too dark, the Tiler said the grout would dry and match! (which with his experience should have known how to match what!) Well it didn't get lighter, it just looked brown! Asked for the tiler to come out and regrout with white. I want to note here that I was NEVER given tilers phone number to talk with him personally, I had to go through Julio (owner). Got the runaround for days, and the excuses were; he didn't have white grout, he was at Dr. office, he couldn’t get out for 3 more days. Julio got an assistant tiler to come and change grout. Remember we can't use shower till done. Finally, Julio came to put in new faucet and shower fixture attachments. He had a hard time putting the Moen faucet fixtures in and he wanted to get new screw from Home Depot and force it to fit instead of following Moen instructions and using the Moen parts that came in the package. I insisted he follow the instructions, and surprise, it fit! Julio never caulked around shower fixtures.Paying was a nightmare! Premium pricing for inferior work. Found out Julio had already paid tiler, no wonder young man wasn’t wanting to come out AND Julio would NOT negotiate on cost! He paid him top price for unacceptable work! $300.00 for cleaning kitchen sewer?? No wonder he never quoted price! This company charges like a premium company, for work that isn't excellent) $3500 house water line and $1100 for 2 other jobs!!!!!!!

Great company. The plumber was on time. Estimate was good and the work was completed in a timely fashion.

Kintex was assigned to us by our home warranty company and I will NEVER use this service for anything again. After being told what the issue was the technician replicated the issue which involved backflow into the house, then merely left without advising that a huge mess was made (I was on a work call while he was working, but he did interrupt to let me know that home warranty wouldn’t cover the work and that he was leaving.)When I complained to the dispatcher about what was not done, his response was merely “maybe he didn’t see it.”NEVER AGAIN!
