Eric and John from Nick’s Plumbing provided the most phenomenal service I have ever received. At 5:00 p.m. on Fri I discovered water flowing from an extra large 50 gal water heater that was 20 yr. By 6:30, Eric and John arrived, diagnosed and showed me the problem, brought in a new water heater, and worked until 10:30 p.m. to install it. A BIG THANKS to these miracle men! I will never use another plumber.

The price was high, and I felt they used scare tactics to convince you to replace instead of repair, but since I just wanted to have hot water and get back to my routine with minimal effort, I agreed to replace my water heater. $2,600 and a couple hours later, I could enjoy hot water and the peace of mind I have a new unit. The techs were polite and efficient. It's the value that is questionable, but if you have the money and want a quick and reliable fix, sure.

I can’t say enough about Lucky’s Plumbing! They’ve installed several fixtures for me, replaced valves, pipes, etc. They’re 100% reliable and answer the phone every time I call.I actually even had an emergency situation one evening where the valve to the water main to my entire house broke in the off position, and Lucky’s Plumbing was there within the hour to repair it.

Arrived on time, quick, knowledgeable, though pricy service. They charge a modest $45 fee due to fuel cost increase. They sent Yanis (a Master plumber) to evaluate and replace a broken leaking plastic ball valve and replace and relocate an improperly located pressure reduction valve in one visit. Yanis showed considerable knowledge and spent time explaining the repair and best practices. Whole job cost $1080 and took about 2 hours. Did a great job cleaning up too. Of the 2 hrs, waited 30 minutes for someone to drop off parts.Edit: Price was actually on the high side after researching parts installed. Parts was about $200 so paid about $350-400/hr for labor but Yanis was knowledgeable.

So I called Chris on a Thursday night with a busted water heater. He was able to come out Friday night to check out the problem (which, by the way, was a service call he did NOT charge me for, whereas all the other highly rated plumbers in the area wanted to charge me $75 just to come see what the problem was). He was immensely helpful while he was over, and when the decision was made to replace it with a new water heater, he was even nice enough to come install it on a Saturday morning. Furthermore, when it turned out that he only had a 50gal in stock to replace my 40gal, he still only charged me the price he quoted me for a 40gal replacement.The advent of the internet has facilitated an unprecedented access to price comparisons and things of that nature, but to anyone reading this: if you live anywhere near the Meyerland area, and you have need of a plumber, you would be an absolute fool not to use Perot Plumbing.
