Roscoe did a diagnostic on my dishwasher which was not draining well. He cleaned out the dishwasher and the disposal line and concluded that it was the dishwasher pump not working properly. Roscoe approached it logically and he also explained the process in detail.

As a HVAC Contractor here on Oahu I know good workmanship when I see it. Even more I know superior customer service when I witness it. My wife and I came home after a much needed week vacation to the mainland only to find our garage flooded from a hot water tank pipe leaking water every which way. Of course these things don’t happen when you’re at home, only upon returning late at night, tired, and the last thing you want to deal with. I turned the water off and called John early the next morning. As I explained my situation of returning home to a nightmare and desperately needing professional help with this water leak John compassionately set my mind at ease and explained that he was here to take care of my challenge and that I not need to worry as he was here for us. He told me that he would have one of his team members come by to evaluate the situation within the hour. Literally one hour after, and I am not exaggerating it was one hour after that phone call two of his teammates showed up, introduced themselves in such a respectful manner, diagnosed the problem and explained that they would return tomorrow with the materials and tools needed to fix this water leak. The next day, as promised, the same two friendly technicians showed up, also communicating the whole time via text in ETA’s, arrived, and up to date information on the repair, fixed the leak, cleaned up after themselves, and just went above and beyond my expectations which I have to admit are extremely high as I am in the customer service business (AC) and run my company in the format as John. Long story short, this company is amazing. Thank you for everything.

Brison has been doing most of my plumbing work for the past couple of years. He is very friendly, efficient, professional and affordable.

Paul was to first plumber to call back after hours. This always gets my attention. He unclogged a kitchen sink drain, came back later and replaced a dripping shower faucet. He and Corina are very good, reliable and they communicate easily. Paul is now my plumber of choice!

I visited homedepot to replace windows and doors worth over 20k. Every visit I had to wait over 30min for someone to help me. In fact, i called from inside the home Depot to get a sales person. Sales person said that I must pay for the installer to come over the house to measure. Paid $50 deposit and the installer showed up an hour late. No calls for over 2 weeks. Called home Depot for estimate. Received an estimate with inaccurate window counts. Called home Depot to resubmit. No estimate uptodate. Called Home Depot, sales person said that the installer quit. They have to send another installer to come and measure again. No one ever contacted for one month. Called home Depot again and the person said sorry I asked for my deposit back and went elsewhere.

Alakai Mechanical was instructed to come to my condo through my management property company. They were only supposed to fix a leaking shower head. They had come a month prior to fix the shower head but only used tape to close the water shooting out and that didn’t work. So the second time they come to fix the shower head the plumber also sneaks in a charge for snaking my drain saying we have a clog at the condo. This is not true and the plumber “Doc” blatantly lied. We did not have a clog when we called the management property about the problem and we always use a strainer in our bath tubs. Alakai Mechanical is trying to charge me $235 for something that did not need to be fixed. Beware of this company. They have a lot of negative reviews and now I understand why.
