Water Improvement Technologies took over the service for Carolina Water. They called me and set up an appointment to do a annual service on our Water Right Sanitizer water system. That was a joke. The technician came out to the house yesterday, sat in the van for 15 minutes, came in the house with no tools, looked over the machine and increased our rinse time and said that would fix our issues, at a cost of $245. It didn’t. I contacted the company today, and told them that the problem was still there and what fixed our issue before and they told me that since I knew what was wrong that maybe I should fix it myself. That was a waste of hard earned money and time. I don’t foresee me doing any business with them ever again. They want to bill every time they come out which is approximately $205 each trip. Very poor customer service. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone. I wish there was a zero star!!

We moved to North Carolina from Maryland in December 2015. We like the house we purchased. However, it’s a Money Pit. The house is 22 years old and had four previous owners that never performed maintenance on anything in this house. My father passed away in 2005. He was a Plumber/Steamfitter well-known in his Union for teaching and being the best at installation & diagnostics. So when it was time to pick a company close to his perfection, we looked and chose VERY CAREFULLY. The ONLY company that met all the requirements we had was Master Plumbers. Master Plumbers has helped us repair & replace plumbing & HVAC in our home.

Last year, in 2022, they replaced the Heat Pump upstairs. They brought us into the new ENERGY EFFICIENT & CLIMATE FRIENDLY era. The system installed uses less of our Solar Energy(Electric) and Cools/Heats the upstairs’ substantially better. We worked with two technicians, Joel, who helped us decide what we needed, and Terry who installed the system with his team. Both were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything thoroughly to us.

This year, 2023, we have a plumbing issue. This issue seems to have been going on for a while. I had been warning something wasn’t right. The others would look at it and think a plunger 🪠 will fix it. Now it’s fun saying “I TOLD YOU SO.” Brandon and Chase came out to take a look and see if it was something that was an easy fix. As with anything in this Money Pit, it wasn’t such an easy fix. I knew it wouldn’t be the minute I saw all the water in the crawl space. It was a clog and a clog that was causing quite the damage. Brandon was thorough in going over options A, B, & C. A was the most expensive, and B & C was lesser. The only thing Insurance Companies pay for is damage caused by the leak, NOT the actual leak, nor the repair of the leak. We chose Option A because it offered upgrades that bring us into the ENERGY EFFICIENT & CLIMATE FRIENDLY era. The house has a water softener installed, but it has never worked. Option A included finally having a working water softener. Now, we have the No-Salt Conditioner by EasyWater. We had thought about getting another BULKY Water Softener, but this NEW device doesn’t even compare to those ancient, bulky things. It’s the size of a gaming console, hangs on the wall in the crawl space, and has no bulky tank involved. Jeff repaired the piping and cleared out the clog on Friday. Monday, he had Travis with him to install the new water softener and finish up anything left over from Friday. They answered all my questions and explained everything to me in detail. I ALWAYS ask a lot of questions. Everybody should be aware of how everything works in their home.

Last, we decided today, April 26,2023, to have the other toilets replaced in the house. Jeff’s here already installing them.

Most companies want to say this is broke, and it will cost this to fix. Master Plumbers is NOT that kind of company. It’s hard to find a committed company that takes the time to explain what’s broken, how it broke, how to fix it, and always the dreadful, how much it will cost to repair or replace. MASTER PLUMBERS has always been here to help us replace & repair this Money Pit.

Steve the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. This was my first experience with Aurora and it was a great one. Although, the price for the work was pricey. It was worth it.

This was my second experience with T.W. Stanley and he really does stand behind his work and goes to great lengths to solve well problems!

Brandon came in a did excellent job. He did the job that a previous plumber refused to do. He explained every step of the process and also gave detailed information during the process. If you have to contact Rotor Rooter this is the tech that you need to have on-site. He was honest fair and understanding of the situation. He goes above and beyond for his customers.

I have called on The Plumbing Firm several times in the past year. Jared and Justin are always professional, personable & prompt in their response. Last Christmas Eve morning, woke up to no water. It was -7°F overnight, and I had company from out of town. I called Jared at 8:15 and left message. He called back in approximately 20 minutes saying he had one other stop and would be by after completing that work. Before noon he had located frozen pipe and had water back on. Now, that's Great Service!

After calling ten 24-hr srvc providers Able Sewer actually answered the phone and sent a contractor after hours (11:45p) They finished the job one hour later and my family and I were able to use our bathrooms. My home warranty company didn’t want to reimburse me but this company stayed on the phone and battled on my behalf until we were reimbursed and I am grateful. I had Great Customer service and positive experience!

$254.50 was a bit amsurd to replace the failed capacitor. I ordered a spare, on line, for 17.60 so I'll have one for the next time. 15 Minutes to replace it.
Do you not even offer a senior discount?

I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with these guys. Mike came out and did the most detailed Scope of work and assessed our entire home, attic, and basement. He went over everything in absolute detail for us and made us feel informed and able to make an educated decision. He also gave us numerous options and communicated perfectly from start to finish.
Myles and Chris were our technicians that did the full install over two days. To say I was impressed is an understatement. These guys knew what they were talking about, made me feel extremely comfortable while they were working, were clean, and educated me along the way. We have two dogs and two cats; and these guys even made the animals feel important and special. I’m a forever customer with Go Green due to these three men and their professionalism, expertise, and communication.

Prices are stupidly high

We had a frost free faucet replaced and a Sediment filter installed by Bill and he did a GREAT job! He was professional, efficient and reasonable. He provided a one year parts AND labor warranty. We would HIGHLY recommend Carolina Blue Plumbing anytime you want an honest, reputable plumbing service.

I will give 2 stars because the techs (Shawn and Jose) were friendly, hardworking, and professional. If not for them, I’d give 0 stars.

They didn’t show for 3 appointments that had to be rescheduled a fourth time. When I call their line to ask for help about all the missed appointments and techs not showing up when we are told they will show up, I was told “we will let dispatch know and they will call you” and then they never call.

We called Saturday to report the issue and was scheduled 5-9 that day to have someone come out and look. No show. It gets rescheduled to Sunday, 8-12. No show. Rescheduled 11-3, no show. We then received a call to schedule the appointment 5-9. I explained that we had been waiting on a tech since the day prior and was told they didn’t have a work order for us until that afternoon. It became clear that the individuals who answer the phones were not scheduling appointments properly and there was zero communication. Tech shows at 6:00pm and reports there is a leak in the coil. The next day, someone was supposed to come back out from 12-5. No show. We then receive a call being told our part has to be ordered and will be in Wednesday. Repair is scheduled for Thursday.

The day of our scheduled repair, we received a text saying the tech was on his way (we were told we would be notified when they were 30 minutes out). An hour later, still no tech. When I call to ask about it, I was told “oh, he’s on his way to Durham to get your part” - we live in Greensboro. When I asked about the text I got at 7:45am saying the tech was on his way, they say “well that’s an automated text that just gets sent out - we can’t help what it says”.

This place is a joke honestly, and they have zero respect for your time. If our landlord didn’t use this company, we certainly wouldn’t deal with the headache. Highly encourage you to use another company.

The secretary that answers the phone is very rude. I discovered that the central office does not cooperate very well with other firms. Avoid being referred this company if you have a choice in who to do business with.

We were looking to replace our ac unit on the second floor. The person came out and went over all options. We had about 5 different companies for quotes. We decided to go with the plumbing and air because they were reasonable. We decided to get both units replaced because we knew it was a matter of time before the other unit goes out. We got the estimate last Wednesday and made the decision to go with them on Friday. They set up to come on Tuesday and then they called and said they would like to come out Monday to begin work. Two crews showed up and they worked hard! They never took a break or lunch. They were at my house at 9:10 and left at 7:30. Tuesday came and one crew showed up at 830 and left at 7:45. Again, these men worked hard and did not take breaks. The men were clean and careful to lay drop clothes as not to damage my floors. They were very respectful! I without a doubt would highly recommend them! You will not be sorry.
