On August 28, 2022 I filed a claim for an air conditioner not cooling with Choice Home Warranty. I received an email that Air Temp has been dispatched and will be there on Tuesday August 30th between 3pm and 7pm.
So on Tuesday around 4pm I called Air Temp to make sure they were coming. The lady that answered the phone said they had no knowledge of it and after a few minutes on hold she came back and said the technician would be there tomorrow between 9am and 12pm. After they did not show, I called around 12pm and again the lady put me on hold and said he would be there in an hour. Finally close to 3pm he shows up.
After diagnosing the problem he said a new unit would be the way to go as this unit is very old, so I explained to the technician to submit the diagnosis to Choice Home Warranty and they will make a decision in less than ten minutes. Unfortunately he did not know how to do that so he sent it to the office to do it.
I called Choice Home Warranty on Thursday Sept,1 several times. They kept telling me that they did not receive the diagnosis yet, so I called Air Temp several times and they claimed that they submitted the diagnosis.Same thing on Friday. I could not get anywhere with either company.
Today 9/6/2022 I Called Air Temp at 10:11am. They claimed that the diagnosis was submitted on Friday 9/2/2022 and they are waiting for approval, so I called Choice Home Warranty at 10:21am and they claimed they did not receive it and refused to transfer me to supervisor. After 30 minutes on hold she came back on the phone and claimed that she spoke to the technician and he will submit the diagnoses shortly.
It's 108 degrees in my kid's room.
With the time I wasted on the phone between both companies, I could’ve worked at McDonalds and made enough money to pay for the new unit. This has been a horrible experience and a total waste of my time. I have spent hours on the phone and still have no resolution and no air. I will make sure to post on any social media about this experience. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and department of consumer affairs and any other agencies that I can find.

Matt is a great guy. He’s very friendly and knows his business well. He shot me straight and got the job done quickly and effectively. I will absolutely call him again for our plumbing needs.

Franky Q came out today for an emergency plumbing call for a sewer backup and was here within an hour on a Sunday and had everything fixed and running in about an hour total once he was here

Michael Tillerson did an excellent job. He was knowledgeable, efficient, and pleasant to work with. When the job was completed he checked for leaks and repaired a broken valve.

I got quotes a price of 105 dollars to run a snake down a toilet drain that was running slow. When they got there the charge was 170 dollars. The guy would not run the snake down the toilet unless he pulled the toilet and put a new wax ring in. The wax ring was new and had been replaced the prior week by a licensed plumber. I felt that Drain Doctor done the old bait and switch routine on the price. I know that a snake can be run through a toilet without its removal. I had to have it done so I paid the price. Take what you want from this review and go from there.

Very prompt response after the Christmas holiday weekend. I had a frozen pipe burst on Xmas eve and had no water for 3 days. I have used them once before, but left a message with two other unknown plumbers just in case everyone's business was backed up. They were the first to respond and came out this morning and now I have water. Thanks.

They were very responsive and great with communication. Brandon was courteous and good at explaining the process required for my particular needs, but felt pricing was a little extreme and therefore looked for another option (this time!).

Great friendly service. Dr. Drip kept us informed when he would be there and was very fairly priced. We told him we were cooperate and that billing would be a process and he is doing the work. The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable about what they are doing. I think I found a plumber for life.

Couple of years ago they came to my house, turn something on in the tank and charged me $400.00 I’ve never felt so RIPPED OFF

I don't feel I was given the opportunity to make an informed decision. I have used this company multiple times over the past several years and have had great experiences until this one.1. When I called on a Saturday about a water heater failure, they intended to someone out to look at it same day. When I mentioned the location of the water heater, they had to delay until Monday as it was a two person job. When the tech arrived on Monday, he had no intention of performing any work, but only to quote the job.2. I made a decision based on the information I was given on Monday, which was not entirely true. When the crew showed up on Tuesday they could not accommodate my requests. We ended up losing storage space in the garage rather than gaining space. This was the last thing I wanted as storage space is limited. I'm not sure I would have made the same decision if I would have been given accurate information.After service was performed, the survey only allowed me to select facial expressions to define my experience with no option to comment. They also put the onus on me to call them to let them know how they did or leave a Google review.
