John has been excellent in numerous projects around our HOA. He recently was able to fix a major leak underneath concrete in a matter of a few days at very reasonable rate. It was so important to have this done in a timely manner as most things are closed during COVID-19 and water is essential need. He is excellent at communicating and getting the job done right? I found JC Plumbing through Angie’s list since I have a problem with my shower in which it does not allow me to have a full flow of water out of the shower head even after I removed the water saver device in the shower head and the handle is very sticky and catching as you turn on the handle so I know that the control valve needs to be replaced. As I scan down the Angie’s list, the things that caught my eyes were JC Plumbing’s rating very high, excellent review, discount to senior and military, and most important things are JC Plumbing will give you a free estimate, available 24/7 and bond/insured. I also went through his web site and learned that his passion for plumbing run in his family. I decided to contact him through his email web site and I am so glad that I did. He contacted me back on the same day and we set it up for the next day with 30 minutes call ahead so I don’t have to wait long. He is professional with well stocking truck so there will be no wasting time for looking tools or parts. He did some testing, open the shower control valve, diagnosis the problem and provide the solutions. It turn out the shower control valve that I have is from the European style and he did offered to rebuild instead of the replacement but since I already bought the replacement part I decided to do the replacement instead. He is reasonable in price and negotiable as compare to other recommended plumbers as I have contacted. He worked carefully, methodically, step by step, and clean up after he is done. I recommended him highly will use him again when the need is arrived.

Express plumbing customer service was very bad and took very long time to schedule work, they send a very unprofessional person to take care of the plumbing work, it took 30 days ( for a one day job to replace 2 faucets) the work done was very bad, and other work not completed.

AFTER PAYING $23000 WE WOULD HOPE THAY THEY ACTUALLY FINISHED THE JOB!!!!! MAKE SURE YOU VERIFY THEIR WORK!!I called MVP on a Sunday afternoon for a back up in my rental units. They had someone at the property by the evening. Rene was very helpful in telling us to wait until Monday morning to lower the costs, they were back the next day and let us know what needed to be done within a few hours. We instantly felt like we could trust Rene so we moved forward with their proposal and they began working on the property. It was a big job, the main pipe running to the sump pump had to be replaced.The main reason for 3 stars is because they did not finish the job and I wish I would of verified the pipe installation before they covered it up with concrete, because the fact that they left things undone gives me a bad feeling that the main job wasn't fully done. I wish that I didn't pay them before checking out the property because maybe I would not be writing this review. Rene even came to my job to ensure they got paid right away and he assured me that everything was going to be taken care of. It is now August and it's still not done. They left a giant rock on the sidewalk and the newly filled concrete has a huge gap and it was not like this before!! I truly appreciate Tom's honesty and integrity. I have used Tom's company over the years to install a water heater, install and repair toilets, replace angle stops etc. What I respect about Tom is that he charges per job and not hourly. Tarpy installed two new furnaces and AC units last week and replaced all the duct work I my home. It was a really big job. Removal of the three old units ( yes, three, each one the size of a small car and three AC units) took 2.5 days for two guys, Cole and Ryan. They worked smart, and worked hard, were courteous with each other and me every minute. They had to disassemble units in the hot attic in order to get them out without cutting through drywall. Removal of the old duct work looked brutal - there are 51 vents/registers in my home, two attics, three stories. It took a day and a half. It’s amazing how efficiently they worked, I never got the sense they were rushing. They worked methodically, continuously, and in an organized way all the time. I couldn’t have asked for better treatment. Each day they showed up on time, and they took a short break to eat something and they worked all day. Cole would give me an update on whether they were tracking on, ahead of or behind schedule everyday.Installation of the new duct work and units was an incredible amount of work that they made seem effortless. Again, I was so impressed how genuinely polite they were all the time. By the 5th day there was still a lot of work to do and I figured there was no way the project would wrap up on time. They called for help, which on a Friday afternoon I didn’t expect them to get. But lo and behold, Chuck, Chris and Bryan showed up on Friday afternoon, since they had wrapped up their work for the week earlier that day. I didn’t mean to eavesdrop but I heard two of them had to cancel their existing personal plans in order to help on my house. They never complained, they never treated me with anything other than professionalism and they treated each other with respect. These poor guys were at my house until almost 9 at night on a Friday after a very very long week of work. I can’t say enough about how lovely the crew was - genuinely excellent people. The systems that were installed (Trane systems) are fantastic. I love the peace of mind I have knowing that this investment in our home will provide energy bill and maintenance savings, but I also love the peace of mind I have knowing that the highest caliber of people installed it. I’m grateful to the initial technician, Nicholas, who hand selected Cole and Ryan to work on this job, and after meeting Chuck, Chris, and Bryan who are also excellent, I’m convinced that the Tarpy owners know a thing or two about hiring and retaining good people.

My technician, Ron Riggs, was extremely professional in his technical capabilities, quality of work, and general demeanor. I've been concerned the entire pandemic about having a contractor in the home to do work but I knew this was a job I couldn't handle myself. He wore booties to keep my floors clean and was fully masked the entire time. The job went over the initial estimate of 2 hours; but I could tell he was doing everything he could to complete it soonest while ensuring all the work was done correctly. Bottom line, Bill Howe is not the cheapest contractor in town, but I rate it as the best value. Get it done right the first time, works good, lasts a long time. A+++. I will definitely be using them again and I will ask for Mr.Riggs specifically.

Wow! When I say that this was hands down the best service I have received from a plumbing business, I mean it. The Drain Help crew came within 2 hours of my call; my wife and I recently moved into a new home in Encinitas and needed repairs for a clogged drain.. turns out we needed a whole system replaced and Ali really explained the process before and gave us a reasonably prices quote. We also got a 6 month warranty! He's a good guy and does honest work.. I will be recommending him and using him again Thanks!
