They are our best in San Antonio, very thorough, checking the gas lines, making sure there are no leaks, explaining the steps to get the fireplace working. Light the fireplace for us. I experienced great service!! I had an issue with my drain being backed up and I was able to schedule service for the next business day... what a lifesaver! Today I had Antwan clear my drain. He cleared the drain and also looked at all the restrooms in the house to assess whether or not there were any other issues. He was very patient with me and graciously and thoroughly answered my MANY questions. He also provided me suggestions to prevent my issue from reoccurring as well as some recommendations for fixing other plumbing issues in the house. I called A Better Drain two weeks ago with an urgent water/drain problem. Stacy responded quickly, fitting my emergency into his schedule, even though it was a weekend. He was very knowledgeable, explaining in simple terms both the problem and his solution. Stacy was professional and clearly knew what he was doing!

Gary, did a great job. He replaced a leak in the main shutoff valve in the house. And the dishwasher shut off valve. All under 2 hours. He made sure there wasn't any leaks before he left. Very pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable. All done way under the average price for this area.

I would highly recommend Carpenter heating and cooling. For this main reason!! I had a competitor come out and wanted to charge me $1600 or $1000 (if I got on their service plan to fix my air conditioning unit). I then called Carpenter heating and cooling and they fix my problem for $198. ** It wasn’t even the same actual issue. CHC did say that I do have an older motor that could be replaced for $415. But I should wait until it goes out. The competitor wanted me to replace the fan only for the $1600.00. Enough said!

Technicians were very nice, but the cost was extremely high for the service performed.

I had a drain pipe that was clogged. Calhoun said they would be there between 8 and 10. They never came until after I called to remind them. After the tech arrived he couldn't get the job done, said he needed some additional tools to remove the sink in order to get to the pipe. He said he could stop over the next day. Next day came and went with no show from the tech nor any phone call. I called to see what's up. The person at the office said the tech would be there the following day between 8 and 10. Again, no show, no call. I guess the tech didn't know how to fix it. A waste of three days. Poor customer service.

I am very picky about what contractor I let work on my home. Unfortunately, most contractors can not perform their job to my expectations nor to my level of attention to detail.

I am HAPPY to say that Miller-Ranney Cantrell did a WONDERFUL job replacing my water service line. I obtained three quotes from licensed plumbing professionals. Miller-Ranney Cantrell's price was very fair and the work performed was flawless. Everyone I spoke to at this company was friendly and knowledgable. The receptionist/scheduler that I spoke to on the phone was great. Tom Ranney was able to come to my home and give me an estimate within a few hours of me calling and was very knowledgeable and friendly. The crew that arrived to perform the work was very hard working, considerate of my home and property, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their level of attention to detail was impeccable!
