Horrible service ever I had. All the thing he (his name Sam) needs is your money. I have trouble with combi heater Rianai hight efficiency unit. Then I caledl his plumber service. He came and When he saw my equipment which is new technology and he did not know how to fix it, he called Rinai customer Service but nothing job was done and all he want was money then ran out.

I am so mad about his job. Not done at all but he charged me $100 and ran out.

Please trust me if you dont want waste your time and your money.

Be careful when you get this service in your place. Avoid it. Pass it.
Horrible ever

My usual plumbing contractor recommended Drain Stars to clear a difficult clog that I couldn't reach with a 20' snake. They called back quickly, scheduled an appointment within hours, arrived right on time, assessed the situation, and took care of the problem. Andy and his associate were polite, clean, and efficient. I'll use them again, and I'd highly recommend their service.

I reached out to Narrow Way to help with the plumbing of a kitchen remodel. I spoke to Mary who was very cheerful and promptly helped me set up an appointment. They sent me Mario to take a look at the work and he was very helpful in his recommendations. He never followed up with the actual pricing, even though he called me to tell me he would.
Fast forward a few days, I call and speak to Mary again who prompts Mario to call me with pricing. We spoke and committed to a date and time of when they’d complete what was needed.
This is where it goes downhill. When it came time to actually get the work done, they sent Steve who showed up an hour late (without reaching out to let me know that). When he showed up to do the work, he was inside looking at things etc. He me that he needed to leave to go get a part. When he came back, he informed me that his supervisor advised him to stop the work because there were unexpected things (based on pictures he sent in) and that the quote they gave me wasn’t enough to cover the work and they needed to bill me by hour instead. So 2 hours in, nothing was accomplished. They insisted that another supervisor needed to come out and assess the situation which happened on a Friday afternoon. After this supervisor’s visit, I was told that I’d have an appointment for the following day, Saturday at 7:30 AM. I get a call from Jose at 8 AM to let me know that he won’t be able to come until 10 AM because he’s dispatched to an emergency. 2 hours later and he still no showed.
Backdrop to all this is that I had to arrange for other parties to be there (contractor to install cabinets after plumbing is done) along with an electrician to hook up the dishwasher. Due to their flakiness and lack of commitment to their word, I had to pay everyone for 2 days worth of work for nothing being completed. Even though they present a good front when comes to talking, they lack the professionalism and substance to be reliable to actually get the work done - which is what matters in the service world.

Can’t say enough good things about our experience with Akian. Our hot water heater quit on us overnight, leaving a small lake all over our basement floor. I found Akian’s glowing reviews online, called them, and they were incredibly kind, and managed to fit us in on short notice.Josh and Dominic, the two team members who handled the call, were fantastic to work with. They were incredibly knowledgeable and patient, and walked us through three possible estimates. And once we chose the path forward, they got the new heater, and got right to work.We’d work with Akian again in a heartbeat. What a great experience.

I plan on calling again for my yearly boiler maintenance.

I called him at 7:30 AM on a Saturday morning and left a message. Kevin McGrath called back in 20 minutes. After explaining the situation, he said I'll come over between 9 and 10 AM, but he arrived a little earlier before 9:00 AM.

Within 20 minutes he had figured out a work-around to get it going temporarily, and explained that his son (also named Kevin) would check on getting a warranty replacement, and we could discuss this after the weekend.

The fact that he came right away, knew exactly how to fix it (being an older gentleman he knew some tricks the younger guys probably wouldn't have come up with), and on a weekend made it well worth the price. I would definitely give him a big thumbs up.

When I had a heating emergency just before the coldest day of the year, Sila responded the fastest. Gaetano quickly diagnosed the problem, replaced the necessary parts, and kept the house clean while he was doing it. No complaints about the service!

Michael with Presidents Plumbing was super responsive when I had a problem with my heat. He took care of the issue and I had heat within an hour. He was super professional, explained the issue & how I can prevent it. For sure someone to rely on!

I have used the folks at Pinnacle for several home projects - replacing toilets, faucets, etc. They have been professional and I'd call their rates reasonable and typical. I had one small issue with a shower faucet replaced and they quickly came back and fixed the problem without charge. I will call them again.

Called for a leaky sink disposal. I am always very concerned that contractors try to use the opportunity to make phony alarming diagnosis and try to sell overly complicated repairs.

John came to my place quickly, explained the problem was trivial: faulty installation, and fixed it in one minute with a hammer for the price we agreed on over the phone... Boom, boom, and done.

He also gave me advice about other disposal issues that would look like the disposal need repair but could be trivially diagnosed be me. I appreciate the knowledge and the trivia.

At the end of the visit, I felt that the work done was appropriate, not rushed, and I felt I could trust this company again to work for me (as opposed to work for themselves) if I have another plumbing problem.

Performed work of sink and dw drainage quickly, which was great, but in two months the sink started leaking, I asked them to repair. no answer, really ☹️ disappointed .

Tom was great to work with! He had a fast response time to all of our conversations. We had a hot water heater replaced (he also took out a our cement lined hot water heater out that other plumbers were scared to touch). We also had a gas line installed for a new stove. My husband and I were very impressed with all of their work and would love to work with them on other projects on the future.

Heating and A/C are trades where you have to be very careful about who you call. An unqualified or dishonest technician can really ruin your day. I have found this out the hard way a couple of times.
I have a Buderus 142 High Efficiency gas fired boiler. It was installed in 2012. Not everybody can service this equipment properly. A couple of weeks ago I found out the tech. I've been using has retired. He was a one man show, so it left me searching for a new tech.
I searched the Buderus company site, which led me to Aquaflow. Learned Aquaflow is owner-operated, and has been in business around 20 years. I decided I'd give him a try. Anyway, about a week ago, Aquaflow's owner Vincent came by and did a thorough preventive maintenance/cleaning of the system. Right away I could tell he was knowledgeable of the system. He had quoted me what I feet was a fair price, and spent more than a solid couple of hours going through everything. He measured its operating efficiency, and gave me a written report, which no one else ever did.
So I have a new heating tech., who I trust and would recommend highly. Check Aquaflow out. He seems to specialize on Buderus, but works on all types of heating systems. Believe me, if he can service Buderus, he can easily handle the others. Vincent also offers complete plumbing services.

I woke up one morning with no hot water. Having 2 kids and an elderly disabled person in the house I need it repair ASAP. The only reason I used this company is because they were able to come that same day on a Saturday. Paul gave me a quote of $300 for repair and $1000 to replace the heater. They charge me $300 to change a gold metal wire in the heater pilot compartment. It took the repair guy literally 10 minutes to do. Two days later the hot water stopped working again. I called Paul, he told me it would cost $1400 (notice how the price increase $400 in a few days) to replace the heater. He said he would forward the $300 I paid for the repair towards the replacement cost and I would have to pay an additional $1100. Keep in mind I bought the heater 3 years ago and paid $600 for the heater and to have it installed. There’s a special place in hell for people taking advantage of others. Worst company and even worst costumer service. I will never use them again. Shame on them!!!!

Given your previous reviews, please take the time to consider your answers. They definitely come off the wrong way and aren't inviting or welcoming. I understand it can be frustrating to get forwarded a job request on a quote but customers are still interested on any estimate they get. I thought it was me reading the tone a certain way by your response, but after seeing your reviews there is a pattern. Why start with 'We don't do cheap projects' ... and then suggesting what I can look up online' understand that perhaps that is exactly what the customer is doing ( due diligence) and doesn't need suggestions on how they sort through estimates. All you have to do is provide the quote, and feel confident on what your company provides. Please take the time to consider approaching yelp inquiries differently.
