Lone Star excelled at it all. Chris and his crew created a front yard design we love, and installed it with no problem – exceeding our expectations. A natural looking landscape – not just rocks, boulders, and plants in the ground – a design.

His crew is thorough – particular – and non-stop. They did great work, bringing the design to life, stuccoing the walls, installing the plants, the water and lighting systems – all well done – a great talented team, and everyday the work area was cleaned up, organized, all hoses neatly coiled – professional.

Landscaping is expensive – with the right team absolutely worth it – thank you, Chris and your great team.

We couldn't be more pleased with our full landscaping project. Our home is a new build and the front and back yard were dirt. Holly took some basic ideas we had and made the perfect landscaping design.This was large project including a pool, tile-roof ramada and elevation changes and it is absolutely perfect. The crew was always prompt, respectful, cleaned up daily, and always communicated so there were no surprises. The owner, Travis, went above and beyond to make this dream project our reality. Sales person is very knowledgeable and professional. If only he had an experienced staff to support him. I used them for 6 months, and watched my landscape go from detailed, to a point I had to let them go.
Seems like after every bad comment. There are 5-6 good reviews. Read those bad reviews, and the come up with your own opinion.

Had Nathan out in September to do a first cleanup of my front yard - trim back the flowering bushes, clean up fallen petals/bits and nuke the weeds. We had just purchased the house the month before and had to tart somewhere. I was home while they worked and was very happy with how it went. I have Divine Design come out about once a month to do maintenance of the front yard. We don't have grass, however my next door neighbors do and Divine Design does a very nice job on their lawn and other plants.

Had called Outside living to get a quote for a complete backyard remodel. They came out but failed to deliver an estimate later. Poor communications and lack of ownership even with several follow up emails, texts and calls.

Amazing job at what they do. Very detailed and takes their time when getting the job done. Definitely recommend contacting them ?

We've used these guys several times over the past couple years and have been mostly happy with their work. This past Thursday was another story entirely. The crew stole items I had placed outside for cleaning, heck, they WATCHED me clean these and still chose to take them. When I noticed them missing, I immediately called Sergio and asked if they'd taken them. He said yes, he could see them and they'd be returned to us the next morning. My husband called him Friday morning to find out when they'd be by (they took my birds travel cages. We move TODAY - Saturday!) as their decision severely impacted our plans and ability to properly transport our birds. After several un-returned messages, I finally informed Sergio's message service that I was stopping payment on the check I'd given them and filing a police report for theft. Sergio called me fairly quickly after that and said that they'd never had the cages, argued with me that there was nothing he could (more like would) do. He had nothing to say for himself when I reminded him he'd told me he could see the cages. When I told him of the stopped payment and my intent to call the police, he merely replied ok which seemed very weird to me.

As a result of this theft, we are seriously behind in our moving preparations and have endured stress that could have been avoided by his crew doing the right thing (they could have asked if I was getting rid of them to start, for instance... I could have told them no!) and returning our property.

Use extreme caution if you opt to use them. Inspect your property and perhaps their trailer prior to paying them. It was funny, I had a nice tip waiting for each of the crew members as this was to be our last visit from them. I've always overlooked their issues with timeliness as they did a decent job and felt an extra thank you was necessary. At the very last minute I felt uneasy and didn't give them the cash I'd planned to. Thankful that uneasy feeling hit me, as that cash goes to start replacing what they've stolen.

EDITED 7/27: Amazingly, three hours after I posted this review... I walk out into my garage to see Sergio. Standing next to my birds carriers that magically appeared. The ones his guys couldn't have possibly taken! Due to his BS, our move was delayed. This cost us additional money in trailer rentals, pet sitting, etc. His nonsense also required us to make an extra FIFTEEN HOUR DRIVE EACH WAY and more stress than I can tell you. This theft caused a snowball effect of our entire move. All because he/his employees cannot tell the truth or do the right thing until a horrible Google review is made.

Avoid at all costs. Or lock up all of your stuff so his employees don't have the ability to steal your belongings! I've warned everyone in my neighborhood (as well as all surrounding neighborhoods) of this theft and the inability to believe a word Sergio says via Nextdoor. Spare yourself and find another landscape company!

Awesome work!! Communicated well with the schedule times, and then followed through. Went the extra steps to make sure I got what I wanted accomplished, and worked hard to create a great finished product. They completed a standard service (blowout, trim, weeding), and two days later came back to spread 30 tons of gravel on a Saturday. I would highly recommend MH Landscape Services to anyone interested, and will continue to use them myself.

Not many contractors deserve rave reviews, but I can clearly say that Botanist of the Valley is one who does! From start to finish, including the bidding/estimating stage, thru the planning, thru material selection, to the actual work and final touches, rave reviews.
On time every day, cleanup every day. Luis the Owner was very professional. He believed in open communication and followed up with quick and complete responses.
We couldn’t be more pleased with the outcome which incorporated many Botanist ideas and changes requested by us along the way.

Great experience with Jeronimo and his crew. We had pavers installed in our backyard and they turned out excellent.
We also had our entire landscape watering system replaced and it works great.
We'll be doing business with Gastelums in the future and will recommend them to our friends and family. ??

all the things you look for in a service provider/contractor, I will use them again.

The company literally blows the vegetation debri on and under your card in a pile. The rest gets blown into the street. I would like my car re detailed.

Poor installation. Barely 2 years and pavers sank. Now we’re dealing with a leak on the irrigation system they installed under the pavers.
