Met with Sean and he impressed us with his passion and talent for landscaping. He brought fresh ideas to the table and it was clear his energy for the project was infectious. While we weren't able to use him for this project because of budget reasons, we will definitely check him out for future projects.

We couldn't be happier about our choice of Lone Star Landscaping to spruce up our front yard. We had contacted other landscapers who either didn't call back or had no ideas for helping us achieve our goals. Patrick's design reflected our wishes and our budget. He, Chris and the crew did a wonderful job and were efficient as well as respectful of our neighbors by keeping everything neat and clean at the end of each day. Plus, they stand by their work. Master AZscapes remodeled our backyard patio last month. We can't say enough as to what a beautiful job they did for us. The patio has been transformed into a wonderful, comfortable respite for us and ready to welcome guests. The foreman on the job, Derek, was the best. He reviewed all our ideas and came up with many himself that made the design turn Into what we imagined it to be. He and his crew SHOWED UP when they said they would and didn't keep us waiting and guessing. The crew handled the job in a timely manner and the guys were all professional and great to work with. The guy that came to my house to take measurements was rude and abrupt. In addition, it took a week to receive a bid for only placing 8 tons of rock in our backyard. The bid we received was for 15 tons at the cost of $150/ton! Not only are they overpriced, but it also confirms that the guy who came to the house wasn't listening to me.

I reached out to get a quote on artificial grass and the job was completed to perfection a few weeks later. Very highly recommended.

We just bought a house and we had Big Nick's install pavers for us. They did a great job and were so nice during the whole installation. These guys really value customer service. It was a joy having them work on my home. If I could give them more than 5 stars on here, I gladly would. They definitely deserve it. Highly recommended.

Excellent service from the first appointment (arrived on time and on the day promised) Gave me a quote and they started fairly quickly. Job was done in 4 days and I love everything about it. Quick, reliable, and pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended

Deer Valley Landscaping is a very good company that has used it before, would recommend it. Good advice is provided, very neat and reliable, and a good job is well done.

Hired Jose for a general yard clean up and he did a good job. A couple of months later I hired him for monthly yard service. My lot is around 3/4 acre and we agreed on general cleanup excluding tree trimming for $175 per visit.

He and his team were punctual and stayed for about an hour which comes out to $58/hr per person. Front and back area looked good after they finished and Jose needed to get paid right then and there. After they left I discovered that the side area of my yard looked untouched and branch clippings that we had agreed to be picked up where left behind.

I texted him and his response was I do it next month. Since I don't want to stare at a pile of debris for an entire month I politely asked him to come back before next month and to complete the job. He agreed and said next week. I didn't hear from him for 5 days and reached out when he would come. His response: I'll come by tomorrow and pick it up, but in the future I will only pick up branched that we cut off. He made it sound like he was doing me a favor by coming back even though it was part of the scope when he quoted me.

Needless to say he didn't show up when he promised he would. I then proceeded to call him to see when he would come back and he just hung up the phone on me. At almost $60/hr per person I expect better service!

Hire him at your own risk. He is a charming guy and fooled me.

I can only say this is a disingenuous company. I asked for a quote and they sent someone out. I explained what I needed done and they provided a price. I agreed to the price and paid 1/2 upfront as they requested. The day they arrived my wife explained to the foreman how she wanted certain plants trimmed which was no different that my explanation provided to their estimator. 10 minutes later I received a call from their office saying that now my property was determined to be a clean-up and cost $120/hr.. I asked why? The girl said because of what my wife described. When pushed to explain in detail the girl could not. I expressed this is not what we agreed to and they packed up and left at my request. The owner called and explained I changed the scope (oh sorry that I asked to have one small bush removed and 1 out of 4 ficus nitida's needed slightly more trimming) even though 1/2 of my bushes did not need trimming nor the trees since I have another company manage them. I do understand that additional work may be an additional cost but the foreman should have mentioned that up front , even if he had to confirm with his office (the owner disagreed and said that was not his job). So, by the time I was on the phone with their office, the plant was already out. At the end of the day, a difficult company to do business with.

3/15 - From my perspective 1 small bush removal should not constitute a change of scope to a total clean-up. I again reiterate that the foreman prior to removal of the bush should have simply stated sir, this may be an additional cost, let me check with my office and confirm before I start the work. I explained this to Victor who said that is not the foreman;s job. Perhaps Victor you should change your policy and empower your foreman with the ability to at least advise of a pending additional cost before doing the actual work and then check in with your office. It's pretty obvious Victor that it's your way, and not your customer's and when push comes to shove, the right side is your side, not the customer's.

Got to love when a company illegally blocks off a frequented road for their own convenience

I've worked with Sustainable for around 5 years now as a HOA Manager. They're one of only three companies that I trust. They aren't always trying to upsell, do offer fair pricing, don't nickel and dime you, and strive to always provide quality service. Honesty is of the utmost importance to me and I find them to be honest. Even when issues do come up, they acknowledge it, apologize for it and work to make it right.

I'm not looking for the cheapest landscaper. I'm looking for quality. This is a locally owned company, unlike many of the larger companies. Every penny they earn is kept in Arizona and that means a lot.
