Best Lighting Design in Phoenix AZ

Great work!

I normally never bother to write reviews, but I have to share what was the worst customer service experience I've ever had to warn others of how they may get treated.

In April 2018, I paid in full for Chris to put together plans for my rather large back yard. Contacting him is an extreme pain - do not bother calling their business number as you will get connected with someone who seems like they could care less about your concerns. I emailed Chris roughly 15 times over the past 5 months and called countless times to try to get updates on blown deadlines, which there were 4 of them and countless excuses.

He eventually agreed to come meet at my house to try to right things and talk details of the plan, which came out to be incorrect twice (probably because there was such a long gap between the meeting and when he sent me the next drawing).

Finally in September of 2018, after missing the deadline for the 'final plan' twice, he sends me a drawing with no dimensions, no renderings, no estimates, and no water/power/gas line configurations like I had asked for. When I asked him about it - the drawing is 'to scale'. Now nobody can do any work without converting the plot plans to what a PDF hopefully correctly converts tiny measurements to.

All of this to say, I highly warn anyone who doesn't have money in hand (do not pay in full before the job is done, or this may happen to you too) for a specific job and dimensions ready to go to work with Lone Star. They really need to work on their communication and committing to promises. I am now out almost $2,000 with no workable plan. I am hoping they will now bother to call me and correct this imbalance.

From start to finish my front and back yard transformation was done first class. Straight Line Landscape is the very best! Excellent quality, professional, very responsive and on schedule.

I hired Ground Zero to help create a space for my son to play and enjoy the yard. We installed a sandbox along with artificial grass for him to play on. Chad made me aware of all the pros and cons of artificial grass. He made sure to not install anything sharp and stuff that was low maintenance. I couldn’t been happier with our choices. Ground Zero Landcape caring and passionate about their work!

I couldn’t possibly be happier that I hired MasterAZscapes to build my patio. From beginning to end, everyone was professional, responsive and talented. The office personnel answered calls and questions promptly. Daniel, the designer, was very collaborative; he listened to what I wanted, asked questions & made great suggestions. He came up with a couple of possibilities to choose from, both great, and he showed me ways to get what I wanted without breaking the bank. Once the design was approved, Darrel took over as project manager. Darrel was on top of everything. He responded quickly to problems or questions. A couple of changes were necessary once construction was started, and he took care of them without even blinking. He kept in contact with me throughout the project. Armando and his construction crew are very talented masons, executing all of the curves in the design with precision, making sure that every aspect of the patio was perfect. He was very easy to work with. After the project was completed and paid for, I called to ask for a small change due to irrigation water flow. Darrel has someone there the next day to take care of it. I highly recommend MasterAZscapes - they changed a muddy, forgotten part of my yard into a beautiful outdoor living/party zone. Everyone who sees it raves. I LOVE IT!!

Services were single tree trimming and paver installation.

Initial contact was in late Feb, with appointments pushed back constantly and financial information and down payment required before anything could be considered. They did not contact me when unable to meet appointments, and only method of communication is text messaging. Requesting a refund got a person deployed same day. Have subsequently been billed *twice* more for one-time work.

Actual workers were incredible; efficient, skilled, and most surprisingly of all, *quiet.* Wonderful for day sleepers.

Management elements of company are more interested in deflecting blame than resolving issues and may not know how to use billing software. Will actively avoid working with in the future and warn away everyone I meet.

My new backyard looks amazing. They also finished my sideyards and widened my driveway. The work was extremely professional every step of the way. The work crew is very experienced. And John Foley the main man is very pleasant to work with. I consider my yard project as being very average in size, and some landscape companies turned me down telling me they had larger projects to get to. Big Nick’s also had larger projects than mine on their books but they were very interested in my business from the beginning to end. John knew what would make my yard look great, but he also listened to my visions. Changes as we went were not a problem. As a result of all these things our finished product looks awesome, almost outdoor museum like, yet it also feels like our creation. It turned out even more beautiful than we had imagined.

I highly recommend this company and their services. We hired them for a front and back yard full clean up and the removal of a dead pine tree. Ivan and his crew were thorough, efficient and courteous while completing the job. The yard was the best I've ever seen it after the completion of the clean up. I would gladly hire them again.

The people aren't nice and polite it's a really good place to work

I had been a customer for a couple years and all was good (5 stars) until their crew botched trimming my shrubs (4 stars) five days before Thanksgiving. I spoke with Sergio who promised to have them out to fix the trim before Thanksgiving but he never did. He then avoided my calls so I fired him. Bottom line: They were great until they weren't.

A beautiful yard on a beautiful home is truly amazing. I hired the team from Desert Sunview Landscaping LLC for this. The guys are great. They did a great job in the desert heat. The yard looked like a park. Everyone says it's great. My family is happy with it. My heart is filled with happiness. I recommend everyone.

I am in love with my backyard! These guys came in and laid pavers to make a beautiful patio and I love how low maintenance my yard is now.

Poor installation. Barely 2 years and pavers sank. Now we’re dealing with a leak on the irrigation system they installed under the pavers.

ABC Scapes is contracted by our HOA for landscaping services. I have bushes totally blocking my 1st floor windows that haven’t been trimmed in months. ABC employee shows up with a hand pruner to trim a 8 X 10 bush. I sent them photos of the bush so they should have known what equipment to bring.

Employee leaves and never comes back. I have left 4 messages and can not get a return call. Terrible customer service. I wish our condos would use another landscaper.

Had a really terrible experience with Antony. Please don't sign up for any work with him. He took 10K advance from us. Didn't start the work and didn't start the work until several frustrating follow ups and he didn't even have a start date. His crew broke our patio door glass and didn't even reimburse the expense for it. His crew installed wrong color travertine. My husband had them remove the travertine. His team was totally irregular to arrive for work. He also doesn't answer any of our calls. Finally we were fed up and asked him to cancel the project. He reimbursed only 5K out of 10K and we ended up paying 5K for only cleaning weeds from our backyard!!!
