I have used Chip Off The Old Block for several years ... They are knowledgeable and hard working with fair prices and good service.
Today I had an old suffering tree removed and a New Lime Tree planted. This was scheduled by Victoria in a caring and timely manner ... and ... the work was performed by Carey and Ralph ... They all did great ... I am Very Satisfied with the final job.

Gave me a quote and came out and removed two trees. Very professional and very quickly done. They cleaned the debris and there were no hidden fees. Very satisfied.

They did an excellent job removing the tree in a relatively quick period of time. They even made me a perfect stump for me for wood chopping. The only issue I have is they should lay down a tarp to collect the chips from the wood chipper they used to grind up the branches and stumps. I took an hour to clean up all the chips from the rocks in the yard. And they're still more to do! Thanks for getting the tree out of our yard.

Sam and his team did an excellent job trimming a few palms in our front yard, as well as planting some trees in the backyard for some much needed shade. They answered all of my questions and educated me on the maintenance of my new trees. They really know their stuff. Very professional, I highly recommend!

Thought our irrigation system wasn't working correctly, so called Design Tree Maintenance (as they installed the system a few years ago) and left a message for Ben. He called back that day and was able to come out the next. He checked the system (which was working) with me and then taught me how to program it correctly for each season. I appreciated the time he spent with me making sure I knew how to run, check and reprogram our system.

I called 5 companies after I had storm damage of a tree in my yard. This company was the only one that responded and quickly I will add and they came over to give me an estimate that day. My tree was at risk if it didn’t come down soon and they made it a priority which I so much appreciated. Their pricing was very fair and they even cut the good parts of my tree so I can burn in my fireplace this winter. The stacked the wood so nicely and everything was cleaned up when I returned home. Anna was responsive to any questions I had and they got here to do the job a day earlier with their super busy schedule. Safety was discussed and I appreciated that because my tree was hanging in a common area of my townhome and they already knew how to safely handle it. It was a GREAT experience when I was expecting price gouging because so many people had damage but not them. These guys are amazing! I hired them to trim my very overgrown olive tree. They got here with a big crew, chipper, truck. The crew made fast work of the tree and finished in 45 minutes! One climbed and trimmed, while others trimmed the lower parts and put the branches in the chipper. They cleaned up and made the tree look wonderful! They were friendly and professional. I highly recommend this company! I'll have them back again for sure!

They did a absolutely outstanding job in our backyard yesterday. They removed several pieces of large heavy curbing and removed dead plants, then they hauled in and spread 12 ton of rock all in about 6hrs! Absolutely amazing job!! There is a big difference between a true arborist cutting and trimming your trees versus your neighborhood landscaper. They have absolutely resurrected a couple of my trees with structural pruning and the soil injection was absolutely phenomenal. I would recommend using tree care from, Moon Valley nurseries. They also removed a disgusting sisso tree for my mom's house and saved it from excessive invasive root damage.
