Carl came out for the estimate, explained the best way to trim our trees to make them healthier. He gave a real fair estimate. His men came out, and did a great job. They trimmed 10 trees and 1 removal. It looks so much better and they cleaned every up. I will use Trees for Needs in the future.

The Trees for Needs team cut down a massive pine tree that was leaning over my new house. They were on time, expeditious, and safe. We had a gaggle of neighbors watching their team. It was impressive how coordinated they were. Overall great experience, and I will use again for other tree needs.

I had a wonderful experience with Trees for Needs! During a recent wind storm, my lemon tree fell over. Maria was out the same day to look at it, and had a team there the following day to remove it. They did an amazing job and even saved all of our lemons for us after my daughter mentioned being sad about losing them. Trees for Needs was efficient, professional, and responsive, from the beginning of the process to the end. I have a childhood friend (50+ years) that owns a successful landscape business, but he does not handle large trees. He recommended Trees for Needs to me and I've now used them twice. Terrific service, great communication from the arborist and the front office right from the start. On-site team lead Melvin and his trimming crew did a fantastic job on my rather difficult Cypress Willow and Mesquite trees. My old buddy was right, they are the best in town.

We have hired Trees For Needs two years in a row to prune and trim our massive Mesquite tree. The crew that came to trim the tree was early, quick, and cleaned up all debris. We also had Maria come take a look at our Grapefruit tree that seemed to be struggling. She gave us some advice but assured us that the tree seems to be recovering which put our minds at ease. She was professional and knowledgeable and a joy to talk with. Their pricing also can't be beat!

From Maria; the certified arborist that came out to give us a free estimate to the 5 men they sent out to trim and prune our 3 trees to the office staff, they were all very easy to work with & professional. The tree trimmers left no trace behind that they had even been here except for the beautifully trimmed trees. I have already referred them to several neighbors on our block.

Absolutely wonderful service and customer service! Provided several quotes depending on what we wanted, which was unexpected and greatly appreciated. Carl was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The crew was very easy to work with on the property which required extensive work. The fee was very reasonable and lower than an other bid. They also helped me put a light post in where the tree was removed.

News stations are running stories bashing this company because a lady stole from them (theft of service). The customer refused to pay her bill. It served the customer right. I think yall dumping mulch in her driveway was completely justified. I am giving you 5 stars despite never using you. I hope my 1 review helps offset a tiny amount of the negative press.

Deep fertilization of our citrus. Trimmed the overgrown trees from our neighbor's yard. Excellent job with both. He cleaned up the yard so you did not know he was even there. Will use them again.

Company overcharged an elderly lady - 500 dollars to trim one tree. And when she was unable to make payment rather than be mature and professional and send it to a collection company they tried to blackmail her by telling her if she didn't make payment they would dump a bunch of mulch on yard which they did and the old lady (88 years old) had to use her own resources to clean it up.

Personally, it's poor value, work ethic, and outrageous for this company to take collections into their own hands and to to take advantage of the elderly and get mad when it doesn't go their way. Imagine, 500.00 for a tree - lady left them the 100.00 deposit but didn't pay a cent more as she had said she only needed one tree trimmed and not the whole property.

Maybe their wires crossed, but to try and punish an old lady for not bending over to your will is kind of sick. I wouldn't trust it - the company and the the company owners.

I have worked with Carl for many years. Trees for Needs is a great company and Carl really knows the business. I would recommend them to anyone.

Trees for Needs did an excellent job. Professional and polite, they listened to suggestions and were very efficient. I recommended them to a neighbor and have them set to come out annually to trim my 4 large palm trees each June.

Wish I had good things to say. Elderly lady was ripped off and this company threatens over 400 dollars and when not paid they dump a full truck of chips in the driveway. Very very very poor business practice. Get your head out of where it shouldn’t be. She’s elder. It comes down to the cost of doing business. Hope this sinks your company and teaches y’all a lesson. Hopefully it was the scummy owners idea and he carried it out if not shame on anyone involve. You shouldn’t be in business

They have been wonderful every time I've used them. Friendly, on time and their work on my big honey mesquite has been terrific!

I don't care what people say, service speaks louder then anything, they are a professional company, with fair prices, and they will get the job done. Every situation is different, stick to the price agreed on, otherwise do it yourself, these are professionals so... pay a professional price darn IT! thank you for continued great service, you can't please them all, don't sweat it ! Shame on 3 by your side , I will never watch that program again, and that women,these men went to your house to cut your trees and you pay them not even nearly half? Price for gas/labor/ tree disposal adds up , SHAME ON YOU.

Of the 3 companies I received estimates from, they were the most informative. The Arborist evaluated my trees, took the time to educate me and didn't try to sell me. My questions were answered honestly. The trimmers were on time and professional. They went to work immediately and I was really astonished at what they did. My overgrown trees and yard filled with litter was transformed. The trees look wonderful, my yard is now pristine and even my roof was blown and cleaned. I would recommend this company to anyone who wants good quality service for a fair price. It's good to know I don't have to go looking around anymore. I'll definitely call them again.

An excellent experience! From the initial phone call scheduling to the last phone call making certain I was pleased with the job. Gave me a window of 2:00-4:00. The crew showed up promptly at 2:00 ready to go to work. They went to work immediately and made short work of 1 huge overgrown mesquite trees and 3 other large trees. Trees look fantastic! All limbs were removed and yard debris collected. The trees look fantastic! I highly recommend Trees for Needs and will continue using them in the future.

We have three large mesquite trees, an unusually large palo verde tree, and a row of ornamental orange trees (apparently they make good hedges). A large branch of our mesquite broke and fell onto the sidewalk in front of our house and my fiance thought we were going to have to cut them down for safety. I was heart broken as I love our trees. Trees for Needs staff were great, from Karl, who came out and explained how we were going to give nutrients and trim for ongoing health of the trees and the staff who were on time and super professional. The trees still look great pruned and will be healthy and continue to thrive. I couldn't be happier with this company!!

I had a huge Ficus tree that was out of control. Carl came out and discussed different options with estimates. I decided to have the entire tree trimmed back approximately 4' - 5' and thinned out. Melvin and his crew were on time and very professional. They did a great job quickly and cleaned up everything including the pool. I'm very happy and highly recommend this company.

From start to finish they were great. I have a lemon tree that lost a large limb and worried the tree couldn’t be saved. Carl came out and advised me what he could do to save the tree. Great team! The initial visit was to discuss and evaluate what was needed and the maintenance and health of our trees. The second visit was to add a fungicide to the soil of two trees, and the third visit was to trim/prune and to remove a tree. Prior to each visit, we were notified of the estimated arrival time, and each time, they were either on time or slightly earlier. The team worked quickly and clean up was excellent. The manager, Kyle, was a pleasure to work with. He was very knowledgeable and provided answers to questions, as well as giving advise on continued maintenance. Upon completion, we were asked to review their work to make sure we were happy with the results. We've never used a professional company to trim the trees (usually doing it ourselves), but after this experience, we will be contacting them for any tree future needs. While the cost to have this professionally done isn't cheap, you definitely get what you pay for and more!

I HIGHLY recommend Trees for Needs!! All the workers were on time, professional, highly capable and left our yard immaculate after tree removal and tree trimming! And did I mention fast?! The trimming was exactly like I had discussed with the owner of the company who came out to go over our pruning plan and bid the job. I had received other bids, and Trees For Needs was by far the best bid, also! Again I would recommend them to anyone without hesitation!!

The team was very professional and priced well as part of a multi-bid including their competitors. This work included 3 large trees, ground treatment/feeding for citrus and fruit trees, and additional yard work. They are always 'On time' and they let review all my needs. As usual - they get all my trimming of 2 palm trees done AND super clean up. I did notice that they left too many palm leaves this time..... O well ... nobody's perfect ! I will call them next June 2023 for my trimming !

When we were gone on vacation, we came home to a dead citrus tree. There had been a blockage in the irrigation system. I called Trees for Needs and Maria came out to officially declare the tree dead. I made arrangements to have the tree removed and the workers did a great job. Will call them again in the spring to do some tree pruning.

Trees for Needs replaced and brought up to code the irrigation for our front patio plants and flowers. Leo and his crew were on time, friendly and very professional in their work. They communicated well, completed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up everything leaving the area looking immaculate and the system functioning as it should. Trees For Needs has done a lot of work for us the past 1 1/2 years and we have been very pleased with their work.

We had to have 8 large trees cut down and Trees for Needs did a great, great job! And they were fast and tidy, they had a big chipper to completely take care of all the branches and leaves. The men were very skilled and had everything done in 2 1/2 hours. Amazing!!

We have a sick tree and wanted to do what we could to save it. Carl came out within a few days and was able to make a plan to save our tree. After they came out and treated the tree we are hopeful it will make it. It is a beautiful tree. We also had them trim our Silk Oak tree. It looks great and they did a great job. Removed a 2 story pine tucked between my home and my neighbors small side yards. The estimator was direct, fair and complete. The team was awesome. HUGE crane involved and a semi dead tree. Avoided my front palm trees like a pro.. Cleaned up and was in and out quickly. So happy since a mistake would have meant my home or my neighbors crushed. Licensed, professional, a very fair price and insured. My neighbor recommended them to me and so I do as well.

Each time we've used Trees for Needs in the past few years, they've done excellent work and left the property clean and neat. Most recently we had cacti removed and a pygmy palm trimmed. There was a bit of confusion at first as to what we wanted with respect to the palm but as soon as Carl was informed, he saw that the issue was quickly resolved. Trees for Needs did an incredible job with our trees! We just bought the house in Sept ‘20 and it was clear the previous owners didn’t take care of the plants but no worries now because they look fantastic after trees for needs came and cleaned them up! They also removed a dead tree out front front. They were very professional and asked what i wanted before they started anything and then got my approval before leaving. They even cut a part of my neighbors tree for free because it was getting too close to our house.

We have used Trees for Needs several times now for various reasons. Most often they have been fertilizing the citrus. They are the best! The estimator is very knowledgeable, he is very honest and aboveboard about what is required. The staff that come out are very professional and friendly and on time. Unfortunately their office staff (especially Jennifer) does not answer the phone frequently and do not return calls. They deserve 5 stars except for the office staff.

My two grapefruit trees were looking pretty sorry. I called Trees For Needs and had, Andy, the arborist come and take a look. He studied the trees and was able to determine in a short time that they had a fungus. He told me what I needed to do to make sure they were watered correctly and that the earth around the trees was prepared properly. He suggested that I need a treatment that would take care of the fungus. Within a couple of weeks two employees of Trees For Needs came out and treated the trees. I was impressed with the professional way that Andy dealt with me and that the employees, Kyle and Cory, came when they said and professionally took care of the treatment. I will now wait the required time to see how the trees recover. I was very pleased with how I was treated by Trees For Needs.

Carl came by first to give us advice regarding the large mesquite in our front yard and a quote. This was at least the fourth time we have used Trees for Needs. The crew returned the following week to prune the mesquite and two very large oleanders - taking the latter from about 12 feet to 4 and shaping them. The crew had been told to prune the mesquite aggressively and I reaffirmed that. They did an outstanding job. The tree looks much more open and well balanced. They knew exactly what needed to be done. My thanks to Trees for Needs.

October 2021 Update: Called Trees For Needs again for tree pruning. As with the last experience they were amongst the most competitive for pricing, we’re quick to quote and schedule the work. Another great experience and the only company I’ll use going forward for my tree care needs.

[original review]: Great experience working with Trees For Needs. Had a Jackaranda tree that had lost some branches and had a large crack, putting the house at risk. They were onsite next day to provide a quote that was less than the competition and scheduled the work quickly. Had them remove a second tree and do the stump grinding. Their crews were efficient, did a great job, and cleaned up the yard from all debris.

I also appreciate that they recommended postponing some tree trimming until the fall due to the summer season. My last company was eager to get out and cut back the trees ASAP without that care mind.

We have had Trees for Needs trim and fertilize our trees off and on for 6 years. Each time we have been very satisfied with the results. The tree always looked better after the service. I've seen some trim jobs on neighbor's trees by other companies that made me wince when they were done and it took 6 months for the damage to go away. Stick with the pros like Trees for Needs.

Trees for Needs is a great company I have called on routinely for at least 10 years. They have trimmed and pruned palms of all kinds on my property, removed a dying acacia and its stump, and most of all kept a treasured giant hybrid palo verde alive through multiple crises. Owner takes a personal interest in customers. Crews they send are great. Office staff is great too. They also installed underground drains to protect my walls and foundation.

WOW - the team of four that came to our house were absolutely amazing! One was high in the tree with ropes and cables (plus a chain saw) two were working with long pole reaches with clippers and one was working with the wood chipper. Each person knew exactly what his part was and they worked together like clockwork - each doing his part but also continually looking out for the other members of the group. They were polite, professional and extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend Trees For Needs without reservation. A++

This company is fantastic. The phone staff and crew are wonderful. They did a great job on one of my massive trees. They made sure my kids' tree swings could still be used while not jeopardizing the health of the tree. They were courteous and cleaned all debris. I highly recommend them!

I used Trees for Needs recently for removal of an unruly Sissoo tree in my small, Litchfield Park backyard. The tree, while beautiful, was ill-placed by the previous home owners, not realizing, I suppose, how large and vigorously the tree would grow. The roots had successfully begun to push-up my pool decking and had also cracked the cinderblock wall that borders the property. My fear, of course, was the pool! I had three separate estimates to assess the situation and to the rescue was Trees for Needs. They came in with the lowest price, that included removal; root treatment; and stump grinding. I decided to go with them, however, not because they offered the lowest price, but because they had the best customer service and an extremely knowledgeable arborist who gained my trust. The work they performed was top-notch and they were on-time, fast and very cleanly too. There was not even any debris left behind in the near-by pool after the tree was removed. A few weeks after removal, the crew returned and finished the stump grinding process. Now, it's as if there was never a tree there! While I miss the tree and the shade and beauty it provided, I am glad I opted for removal before the pool suffered grave damage!! And...because they did such a fantastic job, I had them come back last week to prune my lemon tree. Again, another fantastic job!! In all, I would highly recommend their services and cannot say enough about their friendly crews and their scheduling staff. They are very communicative and polite...a rare find these days. We have used Trees For Needs for fertilizing and trimming of our Chinese Elm. The arborists and crew have been friendly, professional, and on time. They were just here to trim and they were efficient and cleaned up all debris in our yard and our neighbor's. Happy to have a tree service company we can rely on!

The team at Trees For Needs were great! A certified Arborist arrived to give an estimate which was very reasonable and affordable. We had a two part removal. Jose came in afternoon to cut down tree it took less than a couple hours. Javier and his team came in morning to grind stump out within two hours. They both cleaned up all debris from area, sidewalk, porch and driveway. If you want a honest and reliable company....we recommend!

I'm very happy with Trees For Needs. I had to remove a very large Mesquite in a short amount of time. Scheduling was awesome, the bid was straightforward and quick, and the crew who came to work on the tree was great. They communicated all the necessary details with me and left my yard very clean. Trees For Needs gave a very strong endorsement for their sister company to do irrigation work for me. I found out after having the work done that they are not even licensed for irrigation. This is very upsetting to me.

The property in question is a private residence. The grounds, plants and trees were sadly ignored by the previous landscaper. Trees For Needs was called for a quote to bring the property back up to acceptable standards. The manager arrived on time to view to work. The quote was received on time and was less than half of the competitor. The crew doing the work arrived on time, not only did everything that was on the work order but did it perfectly. The property was left spotless. Five stars is not nearly enough for this really great company and it's field staff.

We were looking for a tree service to trim our tree. We called ‘trees for needs’ for a free estimate. Carl came by on time. He was very professional. He discussed our tree with us considering our personal preferences and came up with a plan for our tree. Carl was very friendly and communicative he explained clearly and plainly what the best method would be for our tree. We had never had a tree trimmed before and we didn’t know if he was giving us a good price. We called another tree service to get another estimate. The other tree service advertised that their prices could not be beat. However, the other tree service method for trimming our tree didn’t sound good to us and they estimated the cost to trim our tree would be over $100 more than the estimate we got from ‘trees for needs’. So we called ‘trees for needs’ and the next week they came by to trim our tree on time. They worked quickly and efficiently and were friendly and nice to my kids as they watched them work from the sliding glass door. They even granted my request to keep the wood chips (for compost and landscaping) and they gave me the extra wood chips they had from a job they had done earlier! Before they left they pulled me aside and pointed out that they had damaged the screen to our kitchen window while carrying branches out of the gate. Even though it wasn’t a big deal and I probably never would have noticed if they didn’t point it out, they brought it to my attention and immediately admitted fault. I thought it showed great integrity on their part and my Husband and I were very impressed. Kim from the office came to pick up the screen an hour later, re-screened it for us, and brought it back the same day. Our tree looks great! We will not have to trim it again for years! It was a pleasure dealing with them. I have not been this satisfied with service of any kind in years!

Trees for Needs recently removed a very large tree from my teeny tiny yard. It was a painful, yet needed solution as the roots were lifting the shared backyard walls and I have heard horror stories of the roots of trees such as these damaging foundations and/or pools.
So the deed was carried out yesterday. the price was more than fair. The crew was careful, compassionate and meticulous.
The job went off without a hitch and they gathered pine cones and clipping for me to remember the tree.
