They told us that they could use the mulch for Phoenix parks which appealed to us. Once we decided to use them, they got the contract to us right away and scheduled to come the next day. I have a lot of mature trees. None of them have ever been professionally pruned and some needed it badly. It looked like a daunting task to me, but the very nice people at Liberty Tree Experts were there to help. Daniel came out, gave me a good quote and, the next week, the crew was there. They were fast, expert, careful and knowledgeable. That daunting task was over and done with in an hour and a half with nothing to left to indicate they'd ever been there - except my lovely, well-groomed trees! Couldn't be happier! Thanks, Guys!

While visiting my father on a recent trip into Phoenix, I noticed he had a few trees that were leaning towards his house. It worried me a bit because I’m out of state and unable to assist much. I was looking for an affordable tree service with good quality that would work with me. Being a veteran, this company caught my eye. I called for an estimate and I met the Gabriel. Everything went well and I scheduled for 2 trees to be cut back and 1 to be removed all together. Andy and crew showed up on time and the job went smoothly. Debris was removed as promised and the job was done by the end of the day. Thanks veterans family, from one Vet to another!

OUTSTANDING! We were researching removal of our 30+ foot Mexican Fan Palm and came across Moon Valley at a local Home Show about 2 months ago. We inquired with 3 other companies as well and ultimately chose Moon Valley because of their reasonable rates, desire to do the job, excitement in the job and timeframe to get the job done.

Not only did they show up earlier than expected, they had a crew of six who had our Palm Tree down in record time from what we expected. They cleaned up beautifully.

The stump grinding team, of surprisingly a crew of just two arrived, and also in record time, removed the stump to where you'd never know anything was ever there! Cleaned up and left our yard looking perfect!

All the men who worked here were great, very informative, courteous and hard workers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Moon Valley Tree Care if you want reasonable rates and outstanding results! We'll be hiring them to plant our new, shorter hahaha, tree this fall!

After a storm came through and caused major damage to my mesquite tree I started calling around looking for someone to come out and remove it. Guillermo, the owner came out to evaluate the damage, walked the property and told me what he would recommend. He is very knowledgeable, honest and kept his word. & liars and will scam you out of your money! Do NOT use this service! Do NOT give them a deposit. They are thief’s and con artists. I regret ever hiring these shady people. They took my deposit and did not do their job at all. Hire someone else!!!!!

I hired Hummingbird Tree Care last year and they did a fantastic job. However, I’ve attempted to hire them twice and twice they were a no show.

Our first no show was November 3rd 2022. Johnny confirmed our appointment about a two weeks prior. However, was then completely non responsive when we texted or called to verify we were still on for our appointment 24 hours before. Of course day of he never showed. We even called and texted to make sure he was ok? Again no explanation or return call.

After months of not hearing from him I called and spoke to him (this time he answered) I explained he had done work for us in the past and we would like to have him out to crown our tree. He asked if I could send him photos. I was driving at the time and forgot to send them. So the next day he texted me a reminder. I immediately sent photos. We exchanged texts and I was given a price of 1200.00. I agreed to the fee and he confirmed he would arrive on February 16th between 7-8am. I texted him on Monday the 13th to verify we’re still set (given our past experience). Again no response and again a no show on the 16th. I called both numbers he has on the internet with no option to leave a message with either. Therefore, I texted him and emailed him asking for an explanation? Again non responsive.

I am disgruntled because I took off work, boarded my dog, and picked up the yard/took down stringed light—all in anticipation of our trees being serviced. Not once but twice for him to no show. I find this disrespectful and completely unprofessional.

I guess he doesn’t value 1200.00 and lacks human decency to notify people of rescheduling or postponing a job if they’re setback due to inclement weather or employee shortages etc.

We are completely understanding people. Heck we offered him a second chance and didn’t hold the first no show against his company. However, two no shows is where I draw the line and write an honest review. Hopefully, others do not experience the unprofessionalism of hummingbird tree care.

Don’t waste your time with this company.

I was a little skeptical when arriving to purchase firewood as the area is not that great. The young man who assisted us was very personable and helped us load the firewood. His old dog was by our side. I felt we had made new friends by the time we left. Great city mix as well as mesquite and great price.
