I reached out to Space Solutions through Thumbtack to have a custom closet installed. I thought for sure that it would be out of our price range and was pleasantly surprised to find out I was wrong. We worked with Sean who walked us through all of the options and didn’t hesitate at all when we told him this was a gift and being paid for by my sister and brother in law in Chicago. I had other companies refuse to work with us because of that. I would recommend Sean at Space Solutions to anyone!

Need a barn door, look no further. Backwoods Custom is by far the best contractor I have worked with in a long time. They were on time, professional, and provided an outstanding product. Backwoods Custom provided a custom-made door of my design, installed, at about 50% the cost of ordering a custom door off of the internet. Not only was the product and service outstanding, these guys are outstanding people. Give them a call, you will not be disappointed!

Chris and his team were wonderful, from start to finish! My husband and I needed a custom lower cabinet, and Chris matched our cabinet finish with our kitchen perfectly. His professionalism and kindness gave us so much ease during the process. We will definitely recommend Chris and his team to any one!!

These people are fantastic! They came on time to the appointment and gave us a quote on the spot. We were so happy that we ordered right away! They delivered and installed right when they said they would! We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Great woodworking. Great attention to detail.

My husband and I had been researching for several months on live edge tables as an anniversary present to each other. I had incidentally seen an advertisement on Facebook for Citizen Wood Company and was immediately drawn to the beautiful tables that I had seen posted. I reached out to Tommy and he immediately was on board with my vision. Wow, what he made for us exceeded every expectation. He found the perfect piece of wood and created what he dubbed as a lake effect dining table. It is truly a work of art and we get more compliments on it than anything else in our home.

Tommy kept us posted on each step of the process and it was soo awesome to see our table come to life. Tommy has a real passion for his work and it shows from beginning to end. Thank you Tommy for creating an heirloom. Now we are thinking about what he can create next!

Review

I do NOT recommend using this company for your cabinet design/installation. It was hands down the worst experience of our entire house remodel.
- The cabinets that arrived did not look like our original renderings that we spent weeks on designing with the sales person
- The cabinet designer did not use any of the measurements taken by shop foreman.
- They started to install the wrong molding
- The corner cabinets were the absolute WORST! This company is completely incompetent when it comes to corner cabinets. The corners never lined up with the molding. We have two corner cabinets that we can’t let our kids use because event with limiters... they will hit the corners of the hood and cause major damage.
- The gaps between the cabinets and the drawers were all asymmetrical.
- Needless to say our cabinets and faces had to be remade SEVERAL times.
- We signed contracts on April 29th. It took them until September 10th to complete the job.
- At one point they said everything was perfectly aligned and good to go. The cabinets were so bad that we couldn’t even open four of the cabinets.
- On all of the top drawers... they made the trim so wide that you couldn’t even fit a handle on them.
- The installer ended up putting a large hole in our wall
- Three different employees said the phrase “this was a learning experience for us”
- The medicine cabinets were all the wrong size
- The touchup person took a package off of my porch and used it as a table to paint the cabinets.
- They added a set of drawers to the master bathroom which would have been fine if they worked. That drawer set literally went over our sink plumbing.
- The lower kitchen cabinets were off by an entire 1/2”. Our counter installers had a heck of a time laying counters because of how unleveled the cabinets were.
- Emailed the main person we worked with, Leonard on several occasions about the issues happening at our house and never once directly addressed our problems.
- After everything was a complete mess we insisted for our project manager to actually come look at our home. At that time we told her that this job had taken way too long and had a hard deadline of 9-11. We were hosting a huge party for our daughter. After that meeting I got an email from her stating that they will begin working on the issues on 9/14!!! Two days AFTER the deadline for my daughter’s party.
- Traci assured us that there would be a discount on cost for all of our troubles. That did not happen. I received a bill for the full amount due. When I asked about the discount for all of the issues... they knocked off $500. That is $500 off of a $30k project.
- The cabinet that was made for the subzero fridge was the wrong size.
- We spent the last year removing every trace of brown from our home. The cabinets are not finished on the bottoms so now there is just a whole lot of brown showing in our grey home.
- The cabinet installers scratched the heck out of our brand new front door.
- Bar glass cabinet was built with two doors instead of one. It sags so bad and caused damage. They didn’t put the large hinge support like the renderings originally showed.
- The refrigerator panels were made incorrectly multiple times
- Upper corner cabinets were originally made 4 inches too short. And they were made the wrong shape/style.
- Display cabinet was made unfinished and too shallow.
- Installed a tiny spice rack drawer instead of a large corner cabinet.
- The cabinet from the sink to the ice maker is off by nearly an inch.
- The banding on the cabinets is inconsistent. It’s literally two different colors and sheens.
- I’ve mentioned to them on several occasions that some of the cabinets they remade have a different color than the original ones.
- There is still a bow in one of the kitchen cabinets.
- After these issues and MANY more... they have the audacity to ask me if they can have someone out to photograph our cabinets.

Closet by Design did a great job on our 3 closets. Sean G and Josh were easy to work with. They got the job done and my closets look amazing.

I walked up wondering if this tiny storefront would yield anything useful. After visiting a half dozen cabinet stores I came here and I'm glad I did. They have a great selection at a wide range of price points. There was so many great choices it was easy to find what I really wanted that I hadn't seen at any other chain store. They were very knowledgeable and friendly. It was a great experience and can't recommend this local shop highly enough.

Excellent woodworking team for high end interior design. They've been in business forever because they know their art/trade.

We are extremely happy with the service of both Garth and Rhonda Matthews. Ronda is very professional as far as setting up everything and keeping things on schedule and excellent customer service follow-up work and making sure everything was to our satisfaction.

Garth was also very professional when he showed up to do the work. He was very timely and very professional. He was also very well groomed and professionally dressed.

After job was completed Garth made a couple trips back to our home to inspect his work. He is very meticulous and perfectionist because he wants to make sure the customer is satisfied!

Thanks to Garth and Rhonda our kitchen now looks brand new! We would highly recommend kitchen tune-up and especially Garth and Rhonda Mathews!

I have been very pleased so far. I called for an estimate and they scheduled me two day out. When it was 4 minutes past our scheduled time he text to let me know he was 5 minutes out. He took measurements and pictures and addressed all my concerns. I got a written bid the very next day. He was also very honest when ask how far out my project would be and how long it would take start to finish. So far very pleased.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Classy Closets. What amazed me is that we didn't have to spend a fortune to have organized closets. Had we known, we would have done this years ago!

Chris was our designer and I believe he has a gift for understanding the customer's needs. He spent quality time with us listening to our ideas and presenting many great suggestions himself.

Classy Closets has many color and finish options available and we found a solution that matched the adjoining master bathroom perfectly.

Because of the reasonable price, we opted to have our young children's closets organized as well. The beauty of having Classy Closets solutions in our children's closets is that we can modify the closet shelves and bars ourselves as they grow. My favorite part is the drawers we had installed as part of their closet solutions. By doing so leaves more floor space in their tiny bedrooms for playing and moving around. We no longer have to move around their dressers because they are now in the closet!

So before you trek over to IKEA, stop by Classy Closets with measurements in hand and be amazed at what you can achieve with Classy Closets!

Garth and staff were excellent. They went above and beyond to make our kitchen gorgeous! They were able to repair our dog chewed corners, replace a water damaged pony wall and had an amazing granite guy to do our counter tops. If anything wasn’t to our satisfaction Garth immediately addressed the issue and fixed it.
