We had an excellent experience with Backwoods Custom. From the initial consultation to the installation, every part of the process was positive. This is a company that is focused on customer service and the customer experience. Steve showed up on time to our initial consultation and was great with listening to what we wanted while guiding us through our selections. He talked about benefits and advantages/disadvantages to different layouts, materials, etc. so we could make the best decisions for our vision. He was able to provide an estimate and CAD drawings within a few days. We chose Backwoods Custom because the feeling we got from Steve was that he was going to take care of us and our home and he delivered. Steve provided us with updates along the way including progress photos. He was accommodating when it came time to scheduling the install as well. The best part of all of this is the finished product. The craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We are so happy with our wall unit and look forward to working with Steve again. Thank you for your beautiful work!

The word custom is an understatement until you use Backwoods Custom. I have had eight (8) custom projects designed and built by Steve and Steve. From a barn door, concession stand, office door, hall tree, bar shelfs, stair railing, 50in one of one metal sign to a recent cabinetry with waterfall counter top for cigar and wine room. The company goes above and beyond customer's expectations and design imaginations. Steve and Steve have been designing custom pieces for me for the last four (4) years. Say the least, I trust their workmanship, trust them in my home and trust their business. True professionals and family men. Need a barn door, look no further. Backwoods Custom is by far the best contractor I have worked with in a long time. They were on time, professional, and provided an outstanding product. Backwoods Custom provided a custom-made door of my design, installed, at about 50% the cost of ordering a custom door off of the internet. Steve was great to deal with. Our door turned out great; he kept us updated through the whole process. Door install went great as well. We had a couple of fixes to do after it was installed; Steve was easy to communicate with on scheduling these modifications and always showed up on time to complete the job. Highly recommend these guys are custom home work !

Steve and Steve at Backwoods Custom have been incredible to work with! The attention to detail is beyond what I expected. Every piece of furniture was tweaked on CAD drawings until the dimensions were perfect. The quality of the finished product is better than I expected - custom bed, dresser, night stands, credenza, desk, floating shelves. You will be hard pressed to find another company that handles every aspect of the process as well as Backwoods - professional, always available to answer questions, quality, fair pricing, timely, updates with photos during the build process and did what they said they would do when they said they would do it.

Love Backwood Customs! We had a beautiful wall unit designed and installed in our family room -- wow, what a difference it makes! While there's a months-long wait list, it's absolutely worth it. There's nothing at retail that comes close to it and no one else in the business that pays this close attention to detail.

We had a custom barn door with windows for our den made and my husband and I could not be happier! Steve was professional from the time my husband contacted him to the time him and his business partner, also named Steve, left after instal. They kept us informed of the progress by sending updates and pictures! The door came out better than we ever could have imagined! We will definitely use them again for any other custom projects we may have in the future.
